I didn’t end up using the services, however I called to ask a question and she was very nice!

I got the deal on groupon. Wasn’t sure where the salon was exactly until I started getting closer. It’s like going down the memory lane lol. It’s right next to UTA, my alma mater, on the same street that we used to run quite a bit on. It had been a while since I was last in the area, boy did I get a little sentimental.
The place is located inside a nice little salon with other services being offered in the same building. I wasn’t sure where to go at first, but luckily Vanessa somehow knew it was me (can’t be that many Asian booking on the same day I guess lol) when she saw me and guided me into her studio.
From the moment I saw her to when I left, it was probably all under 20mins. Yes, she stays inside the room with u while u undress, but y should she leave when she would be all close and personal to ur hooha soon after anyway? The room stays lit brightly. Which is one thing I’m not too used to, but on the bright side (literally), it helps her speed up the process and make sure she got everything.
Here Vanessa uses the hard wax instead of the waxing strips. If you never had hard wax, trust me, you want it, prefer it, n love it a whole lot more than waxing strips. Not only its quicker, less painful (it probably helped too that it wasn’t my first time lol), it’s so much cleaner n wayyyyyy less sticky than the strips.
Vanessa did a great job making me feel like a baby again (tho I don’t remember crap of when I was baby!). I never wanted to check for the work right after unless when I take the first shower. She definitely did not disappoint. Looking forward to my next appointment!

First time Brazilian wax. She was great, talked me through it, before and after. In and out in 20min or less. Great price too! Still dread it but she’s fast and sanitary.

Vanessa is hands down the best waxer in DFW. She keeps you calm and comfortable during what would usually be a pretty stressful service. She always gets 100% of the hair so no need for a touch up after. I only trust her to wax me!

Just visited Silk, I highly recommend it. Vanessa was awesome! I was nervous about the whole thing because it was my first time doing a Brazilian, but she was understanding and completely relaxed my fears.
