Sherry walked my two dogs, Zoe (4 yrs) & Milo (3 mos.), for 6 months and she was AMAZING. Unfortunately, we had to move away from Arlington. I’ve been through numerous dog walkers, from private to large companies. They have always been a disappointment and terrible experience.
On the other hand, Sherry has been so great with the dogs — they love her. She made me feel so at ease and I could trust her completely. The best part is, she would text me everyday with a picture and a description of how the walk went. Whenever I requested anything, Sherry was patient, flexible and understanding. She even came twice a day when Milo was a young puppy to let him out. She has by far the BEST service hands down.
We are planning to move back to Arlington soon, and we will be requesting Sherry without a doubt!

I’ve known Sherry for a number of years as she was once our neighbor. She has established a strong clientele by her reputation and is an obvious «dog person»! Normally I am able to walk my pup since I live nearby our home, but this past weekend I needed a quick turnaround and confirmation that Sherry would be available! She arranged with Josh to have Riley (my wonderdog) walked and fed while we were away. It was definitely peace of mind to know that we had reliable «friends» helping out as our Plan B! Thanks Sherry and Josh!

Sherry has been amazing! I had a terrible experience with another dog walking company in Arlington so finding Sherry has been a heaven sent. My dog Moose is a 3 year old rescue with terrible anxiety around strangers. Sherry is so patient with her and will play with her after the walks to make her more comfortable! She sends me texts after every walk to let me know how things went which really puts my mind at ease. She truly cares about the dogs she walks and is so flexible with scheduling — if I need to cancel a walk that morning for any reason she is completely accommodating and will credit you the walk, unlike a lot of other dog walking company.
Sherry is also extremely considerate when she goes on vacation. She offered to set up a meet and greet for her replacement, Katie (who is also amazing!), since Moose is so scared of strangers. I really appreciate her letting me know when someone else will be in and out of my house with Moose.
I would recommend to Sherry to anyone and everyone looking for a dog walker. Thank you Sherry!

I have been hesitate to write a review for two reasons: one, I have never written a review on Unilocal and didn’t want to sign up, and two, because that means more people will use Sherry and she will have less time to be our dog walker. But since she is so incredible, I feel that it is only fair.
Sherry has been walking my 8 month old rescue pup, Libby, for about 5 months. I was originally using a lady that lives in the building next to us because my schedule is all over the place and I needed someone who would be flexible. After dealing with a horrible dog walker, I found Sherry online and called her immediately. She answered and we met within the hour. Saying that Sherry is heaven-​sent is an understatement. She is warm, loving, flexible, enthusiastic, and trustworthy. My schedule changes by the minute– and Sherry is always extremely gracious and flexible. Not to mention, my puppy Libby (a very skittish but loving rescue) absolutely adores her.
I have a bit of a Type A personality and so the constant text updates are needed and so wonderful! I get updates so that when I am far away from home I won’t have the anxiety of leaving Libby. When Sherry went on vacation, she made sure we met the dog walker that would be taking care of Libby while Sherry was gone. She took time out of her weekend to stop by with Libby’s new walker so that Libby could meet him. Sherry is an extraordinary dog walker and I feel so very lucky and fortunate to have met her. She has made having a new puppy while I am in school a much easier transition. I can now rest easy while I am away at school and/​or studying that my baby is being taken care of.
Bottom Line: Sherry is amazing, consistent, and flexible. She is kind, and loving, and my puppy adores her. I would highly recommend her to anyone but I would like to keep her to myself.

Sherry has been fabulous! I emailed and called her two days before I needed a dog walker and she got back to me right away. Oh and forgot to mention it was even Labor Day weekend! I had just gotten a puppy on that Sunday and needed someone ASAP. Not only could she accommodate me and my new puppy with a days notice, she sends great status texts and pictures! I know Nala is in good hands! :-)
Also, this is my first dog walker experience and she has been great answering all my questions and concerns!

My wife and I could not have been more pleased with our experience using Sherry for walking our German Shepherd puppy Bailey. Before we moved out of the Northern Virginia area, Sherry took care of Bailey from the time when she was just a few weeks old until Bailey was a year old. We were obviously very nervous about leaving a young puppy alone at home during the day, but Sherry always put our minds at ease with great text/​picture updates during the day (we are also convinced that Sherry was a driving factor in Bailey’s rapid potty training!). Sherry was also always willing to stop by and check on Bailey if we had something come up at the last minute or were running late to get home. Bailey really enjoyed her walks with Sherry and Sherry took care of Bailey like she was her own; we would not hesitate to recommend Sherry for pet care and definitely miss having her where we live now.

We’ve known Sherry for years and trust our cats Rocky and Cali in her care while we are gone. We are very happy with her service and would recommend See Sparky Run to those looking for a personalized pet service.

Sherry has been walking/​running my year old Bernese Mountain Dog for almost six months, and I don’t know what I’d do without her! She is extremely accountable, flexible, and George is noticeably more tired on the days that Sherry visits. She is also great about sending tips/​helping train George as well. I have recommended her to several neighbors in our building and they are all very pleased!

When we moved to Alexandria from a small town, we were nervous about finding a dog walker who would care for our dog, Clyde, as much as we do. I thought it would be impossible, but then we found Sherry, of See Sparky Run.
She treats Clyde like he is her baby, and I never worry about whether he is getting what he needs. He looks forward to her arrival every day, and happily walks with her, doing his business. She sends me text updates, sometimes with pictures, even, to let me know how he is doing and what they did during the walk. Sherry is there to walk Clyde, but doesn’t leave our two kitties out! She pets them and gives them attention when she stops in. I can’t say enough about how great she is. She regularly goes above and beyond what we expect by spending a little extra time with him and the kitties, checking our appliances to make sure nothing was left on, and making sure the doors were not left unlocked.
We are pretty particular about who gets to take care of Clyde, and we would not recommend anyone else more than Sherry. She is really wonderful.
