Specialties
We specialize in automotive detailing from basic (1 polishing step) details to full on paint correction utilizing the latest products and tools available. We are also an authorized Optimum Opti-Coat installer, which is the premium 2 micron thick ceramic resin based 10 year paint protection. We can remove buffer swirls that other detailers, body shops and car dealers make-ready departments leave behind. Yes, remove, not hide with an oily glaze. We use low gloss interior dressings for a more natural, factory new look. Our prices may be higher than the competition but the difference you will see upon completion is worth the extra price!
History
Established in 1994.
I was always the one out of all my friends who showed up at the drag strip with the cleanest and shiniest car. After detailing my brother’s car, he drove it to work and called me to say several of his co-workers wanted to know if I could do the same for them. My business slowly took off from that point. About 18 months later, in 1994, I was able to quit my part time job and detail full time. I got an internet presence relatively early (1999) with the user name Scottwax and in 2004, I was recognized by Meguiars (and invited out to Irvine, California) for my contributions to detailing on the internet. Not only was I flown out to Irvine but was also took part in a full day advanced professional detailing class with other high end detailers. I also met up with Dr. G. of Optimum Polymer Technologies and have been a regular product tester for him and his company.

Business Owner
I was born in Cleveland but moved to Phoenix just before turning 1 and lived there until the end of 3rd grade. Lived in Tokyo, Japan for a couple years, the Chicago area before we returned to Phoenix when I was in 8th grade. Other than a year in Richardson, TX at JJ Pearce HS, I was in Phoenix until my early 20s. It was high school when I really discovered my love of cars. Bought a 1971 Chevelle for $ 400 and spent the next 8 years fixing what was wrong with it and then modifying it into a street/strip car. But the need for speed was always accompanied by cleanliness. Not just the engine bay but the whole car. Moved back to the Dallas area in 1987 after my family had all ended up out here and I’ve been here since, raising my two boys as a single dad, detailing cars and road biking.
