Never checked out the park really. Only skate the lil skate park every time. Fun tiny lil spot with lots of flow for how small it is, a great warm up for vandergriff !

Not very good place to come with family. Almost saw a fight break out over chairs, if someone stuff is on a chair you don’t sit your fat butt down on someone elses stuff with your 10 kids, RUDE. Then refuse to move until the poor woman had to go get someone that works there to move you and then you argued with the man that worked there. Now, the chair situation is ridiculous you do not have enough chairs there for people, we shared 2 of our chairs with a family of 5. If you are going to keep letting people come in and don’t want stupid fights to break out make sure you have enough seats. So disappointed have been coming here since 2002 and over the past couple of years we keep getting more and more disappointed. Today we have decided this is our last visit never again.

I love this little park and drive by it all the time. I can walk there too — although I probably drive more often, especially if I’m bringing picnic gear, my laptop, or books. I’m more of a leisurely park visitor(there to lounge and read) than an active visitor(there to exercise and explore), but I’m trying to be both! Either way, it’s nice to have a nature-y escape so close by. This park never seems large to me when I just drive by, but it’s much more expansive than I initially thought. Back behind the tennis courts and picnic tables that you first see, there’s a pond(with fishing), a «miracle field,» nature and bicycling trails, a family aquatics center, and more. 149 acres! Baseball complex, basketball courts, multiple playgrounds… It’s a really comprehensive park with modern updates. Everything I’ve seen is clean and quality made. There’s even a legit skating park! With ramps and poles and other crazy things I’d be terrified to roll across. Adam loves it though. Randoll Mill Park gets pretty crowded on the weekends and fair-weathered evenings. Kid’s sporting events, barbecues, joggers, babies. However, it’s never seemed uncomfortably crowded to me. I find plenty of quiet time and space to enjoy(during peaceful weekdays, especially) just sitting on a blanket and taking advantage of the open outdoor space.
