I had to visit Dr. Sehat multiple times concerning implant work on my teeth. When he is still collecting your money, he is more than willing to treat you properly. The moment when the money stops, he becomes very unapproachable. When the implant was first put in, he asked me if the implant was fine, and I tried my best to let him know my concerns about the implant. He mentioned that not to worry, in his line of experience he is confident of his work. Turns out that the implant was pressing on another tooth and causing it to shake and move. He tried his best to make up excuses on reasons that I shouldn’t file the implant down. However, most of his reasons ended up conflicting his prior statements. As someone who has worked in the customer service industry, I am disappointed in his approach towards me. He was reluctant to offer any help since he believed I only wanted to waste his time. The tooth was causing me pain and I seriously will not recommend his dentistry to other friends and family members. Otherwise, his staff is very friendly. His work is good, but maybe concerning due to the experience I have had with him. I only wish his approach towards me was different, I almost felt like I was being bullied and taken advantage of.

I went in as a new patient with no insurance, to inquire about my wisdom teeth. I am 27 years old. They did a lot of thorough x-​rays. I came out of the office with knowledge of gum disease that I have, and they showed me a video informing me about the gum disease. I was embarrassed, and they made me feel very comfortable. I’ve never met a more professional and courteous group of people who really made me feel like they care about you. I was so thankful and appreciative they went to such lengths to make me feel comfortable and inform me of every single thing that needs to be corrected with my teeth! I cannot wait for my next appointment! Who knew going to the dentist could actually be something to look forward to!

I think I grew up in a different age of dentistry. Or maybe it was the suburban Atlanta town where I lived. Or maybe it was just the guy we chose. In any case, Dr. Joe used to come around and joke with the patients. He always remembered your name and your interests. He had conversations with you and it seemed like more of a personal transaction.
Or maybe I was just a stupid kid who thought it was that way.
In any case, it’s not like that with my dentist now. In fact, I rarely see him at all, and when I do it’s little more than a firm handshake and a «how are you, today?» I doubt he could pronounce my name.
At Randol Mill Family Dentistry it’s the hygienist with whom I interact the most. And the receptionist. Everyone is kind and professional and I’m pretty sure they remember my name. On top of that, they do a good job with the dentist related stuff. Sure, a personal connection would be great, but short of that I’m happy to get my teeth cleaned and not be treated like just another patient. It’s no problem to get an appointment, there is never a long wait, and it’s never crowded or hectic.
Plus, they usually have on MSNBC news. If they played that FOX crap I’d have never gone back again.
