HA. Ok… lets go back to 2000 or so. I blazed my first heat in the basement of PSMG. I paid $ 1000 and was handed a .38 and ear protection. I learned how to load clips and shoot rounds. At first I was pulling to much but I learned to relax and squeeze. I got my score up and got my permit. The whole scene was sketchy. It was run by a creepy armenian guy and the shop was disgusting. I paid in two installments for my instruction. My first payment of $ 500 was cash and I wanted to put the last $ 500 on a credit card. He almost wouldnt take it. He wanted me to go get a cash advance and pay him cash! HELLNO. In conversation he told me he made the bulk of his money making custom firearms for foreign clients including the Saudi government. The practice«range» was in the basement and it looked like a… basement. Be careful not to shoot the furnace! Actually I asked about all the bullet holes in the heating duct work on the ceiling and he said those were from state troopers! LOL. And actually the basement ceiling was just the underside of the shop floor. A stray bullet couldve easily gone through the floor and hit someone coming into the shop. Jump ahead to 2007 — Somebody used shooting lessons in the basement«range» as an opportunity to commit suicide. A person blew their head off and po-po called the ATF to do a random inspection. Turns out he was a licensed reseller but not a licensed manufacturer for those custom pieces so he got shut down. Whoops. Based on him wanting cash from me I bet his taxes were questionable too. BTW what a depressing place to die at… the basement of PSMG!
