We specialize in Group fitness, Group Exercise and TABATA for all fitness levels throughout Northern Virginia. We are NOT a big box gym to keep things fun, focused, accountable and results driven. You don’t need fancy equipment, an expensive gym membership or an extra two hours a day. We specialize in Personal Training, Group Fitness, Core Conditioning, Corrective Exercise, Senior Fitness and Tabata Bootcamp.

The Tabata Bootcamp™ program or High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) strikes the perfect combination of short, efficient workouts, ongoing online support, and motivation in a small group training setting. Together, all of these resources produce amazing weight loss and fitness success.

History

Established in 2012.

Power of Movement was created from a very simple idea that was a result of dealing with a nagging back injury and the inevitable march of time. I had been to countless excercise studios, personal trainers, quick fix experts and health gurus to no avail. Everyone one I had met and talked with had the same observation and or excuse about excercise. I don’t have time, I can’t afford a gym, my schedule is too crazy, I commute, leave home too early, get home too late, am too busy which were all founded the sterotypical approach to fitness and excercise. So I began to look at how I could resolve the fears, excuses and confusion of people just like me by creating an holistic approach to health and fitness.

It was then I set out on my journey to get certified as a personal trainer, Tabata Instructor and help people get relief from chronic injuries and fatigue that is adaily drain on everyone from the High School Sports Star to the AARP member and the Power of Movement was born.

Power of Movement was created from a very simple idea. Like you I have lived with pains, lack of time to exercise and a desire to feel better and live longer. As the first certified independent Tabata Bootcamp™ instructor in the Washington DC metro area, I have integrated Group Exercise, Tabata (High Intensity Interval Training (HITT)) and Personal training to provide optimum results in as little as 30 minutes a day. I work with YOU, no matter what your fitness level to design an integrated exercise program for your office, group of friends or neighborhood.
