Extremely inauthentic and bland. Small portions. I’ve had vietnamese all over the country and this was one of the worst.

The food is alright but the service is awful. The people who work here are so rude and stuck up. We will not come here again.

Pretty simple here. Food wasn’t so great. The price wasn’t worth it for the rice dish. Could do much better.

I ordered the special phở large and spring rolls. The spring rolls was the best part of my meal. The phở was ok it had a weird aftertaste and a weird smell to it. It might just be me but I’ll try it again some other time.

I ordered large veggie and tofu phở, with extra noodles and a Taro bubble tea. Polite staff, quick to respond. Clean establishment. Food arrived quickly and was flavorful. Easy to have a conversation — not too loud or uncomfortably busy. I will visit again.

The place and parking is great. Clean and nice. Owner is nice but the female is rude and stuck-up. The phở and Bun Thit Nuong is good. Service is a little slow but as long as the owner is there things go smoothly all of the times I have been there.

Ok first time I came here was with my Aunty and cousin. we left because we sat down the guy saw us when he was wiping down tables and went in the back without giving us menus. Then my cousin went to grab some on the counter and that’s when he came backed out grabbed me is and walked passed her and went in the back. We looked at the menus and didn’t see anything we liked and decided to leave. When we where leavening he started to pour water for us. The second time I went was with a friend. The service was a bit better. The food was ok I had better

Go here frequently on my lunch breaks. The gentlemen who is usually there — I believe is the owner– is great. He doesn’t say much but is very attentive and the orders are always correct and fast. My go-to cold weather lunch spot.

The food was alright. We got vermicelli noodles and grilled short ribs. They were okay. Good enough if you’re craving it but dont want to drive far. Phở is probably the best thing in the menu…

It’s phở, but you could probably already tell that. What’s less obvious from the title is how average this phở is. This place might have set a new record for the most unexceptional phở I’ve had, but it wasn’t bad. Their business seems slow, and their food is completely ordinary. Nothing to get excited about. My bowl of phở took nearly ten minutes to arrive. Either they make it to order or they like taking much longer than usual. I ordered a large bowl, and it was pathetically small for a large. Even the plate of garnishes seemed sparse. I also ordered two deep-fried egg rolls that didn’t add much and weren’t really worth it. At least there’s phở in the area, but it’s definitely not special enough for a return visit.

As long as the owner is there. I get good service. Food is good, love the soup(veggie) and The rib lunch with fried rice is especially good. We started coming here as it is close to our office, we have been coming here for about a year.

This was the first time I have eaten Phở and it was pretty darn satisfying. I did read other reviews and it seems to be all mixed with experience. When I walked in the owner came over to me right away with a menu and quickly grabbed me a glass of water as I was sitting down. I had a friend meeting me and I had told him, they made my food right away and told me they would hold off until she got there so that she would have hot food. Over all the place was very clean, parking not a problem, food was very tasty and the owner was very attentive. I will be going back and trying out some of the other items on the menu.

I walked in, was not greeted and was uncertain if it was«seat yourself» or order at the counter. I went to the counter and the woman asked, «what can I get ya… for here or to go?» It was awkward as there was no menu posted. I said«here.» And seated my self. Soup was hot, and pretty tasty. Nothing spectacular. It was clean.

Clean with ample parking. The Phở is good. The service is horrendous! The gal that waited on me today was hands down the rudest server I’ve ever had. She did not say hi or greet me in any manner, simply walked over and tossed down the menus and walked away. When she came back I ordered a large chicken phở w/no onions. MIDSENTENCE she had turned her back on me and walked away! She got about five feet away and turned around and said«what kind of phở did you want?» She brought me a small chicken phở with onions… NOT what I had ordered. I had to ask for my Sprite which I had ordered but that she didn’t hear because she walked away mid sentence. She brought my Sprite and set it down on the opposite side of the table in the furthermost corner. I didn’t get her name; this was a young pregnant gal that clearly didn’t want to be here. I have nene not tipped, until today.

Customers BEWARE. I unfortunately was stuck all day while sick so I sent my husband out to get me some phở. This restaurant was the closest to my work. Upon pulling up, just as other reviewers have said the owner was smoking. My husband walked in to the restaurant where the owner followed him while putting out his cigarette. All the while he is on the phone. He puts his phone down momentarily, and tells my husband his total, and immediately gets back on his phone and carries on a conversation. This place is dead. There are no customers, and the owner has no understanding of service. I hope he doesnt make the food with those dirty hands… PS!!! Me and my husband read the bad reviews but still went here, and SHOULDNTHAVE. Despite my sadness about having to eat twenty minutes later than planned, we are currently enjoying a much better bowl of phở down on state ave.

The vermicelli bowls and rice plates both contain very few ingredients and are accompanied by an insipid and watery«sauce». After adding most of the additives at the table I was able to improve it enough to be adequate. And we were very hungry. Then the waiter took my soy sauce away! So for the first time I didn’t bring my leftovers with me. When asked if the food was great, we gently explained that we were used to more flavor, and she shook her head in disbelief and asked us if we used any of the sauce! She was wondering about how we could possibly have found the dishes bland. Needless to say, won’t be back.

I will admit I get a little sad that they dont have cream puffs but not that big of a deal since it seems only Than brothers has fresh ones. When it comes to their soup I dont think its bad and I dont think its great… its just a good bowl of soup. Its really close by to my house and thats why I come here. I also like that you have the option to use card since most places strictly take cash only. When it comes to the soup you only have 2 options in size small and large. For phở i would say it is over priced because I can get their large size at Than brothers which is a medium for cheaper. I have tried their noodle and rice dishes and I like them a lot. Bbq is usually really good. Some other reviewers seem frustrated with service here and I use to feel the same. The old guy knows me now and knows what I want when I come in. After observing from a few trips it may not be all his fault, I’ve seen people talk to him like hes an idiot just because he doesn’t speak fluently straight english. I dont see his daughter much anymore who would usually be busy on her phone. For so many complaints of this place it does have a pretty good flow of business.

I want to start by saying that this restaurant doesn’t offer cream puffs, so if you’re accustomed to enjoying the full phở experience, this place isn’t for you. The phở here isn’t anything special. It tastes generic compared to others down the I5 corridor and the service is lacking to say the least. I’ve come on 3 separate occasions during their posted business hours and they’ve been closed with no notice as to why. If I do manage to get«lucky», and the planets are aligned, and the owner feels like the mood is right, the store will be open, I can get inside and have a wonderful time feeling like I’m not welcome. The rude people working their seem like they would rather finish the Ongbak 7 script they are writing under the counter than actually make some money. Anyways, I don’t come here anymore and just drive to Marysville for my phở…

The reviews seem to either love or hate this place. I choose«like.» The phở had a different flavor than other places, which I think is what people took to be «old» or «not great,» but to me it had a good flavor. However, it seemed a bit light on the meat, much of which was chopped up too finely to be appreciated. It was definitely a good experience overall, but I’ve had better.
