With more than 20 years experience in Tarrant and surrounding counties, we provide personalized, professional services in the areas of divorce, child custody, enforcement and modification of possession/​access and support, termination of parental rights, adoption, name changes, probate and administration of decedent estates, guardianship and guardianship administration, modification and termination.

History

Established in 1995.

Owens & Owens is comprised of a husband and wife team of lawyers. Frequently appointed by the Courts to assist in both family and probate law cases, we pride ourselves on having built our firm and our reputation on two decades of hard work for the individuals of Tarrant County. Kerry was born and raised in Tarrant County and was an officer with Arlington Police Department before obtaining his law degree. Lee was born in Peru and worked as a litigation paralegal prior to obtaining her law degree. Lee is also trained in collaborative law practice and is a mediator and family law mediator.

Kerry O.

Business Owner

Kerry is a native of Arlington, Texas. He served the city as an officer and a special operations officer of the Arlington Police Department prior to attending and graduating from Texas Wesleyan School of Law. He is licensed to practice in the state courts of Texas, the Federal Courts and the United States Supreme Court. Kerry is frequently appointed as Receiver in complex divorce litigation to hold, manage and sell property and businesses. Kerry also enjoys traveling and spending time with his family and pack of dogs locally and at his ranch in Bosque County.
