I have Dr Morgan, and I love him, he treated me with the utmost respect, explained everything about my hysterectomy. He was so patient. I had the surgery and am doing fine. o had a horrible experience with another obgyn Dr at another practice, which caused me to wait a year to have a much needed surgery. I am so happy that I went there.

Terrible service at GP location. They don’t tell you when you book the appointment, that you need proof you have paid your insurance. They will have you log into your insurance website, but god forbid your account has not been updated. It was clear that I had made a payment, and that they had received that payment, but the My Coverage page had not updated to show that. They said my only option was to pay cash to see the doctor. They didn’t even offer to reschedule my appointment. I have never been asked to prove I have paid my insurance bill by a doctors office. This is just discrimination against people who have gotten their insurance through the Affordable Care Act.

I had Dr. John Pickel Jr and he was VERY RUDE. I would NOT recommend him to anyone. I went to him for a pap smear and he was very robotic. He didnt introduce himself or try to be friendly at all. He came into the room and didnt say a word and started doing what he had to do. Then when I specifically asked for a certain kind of birth control pill he got an attitude and rudely said «well I’ve already sent your prescription to the pharmacy but I will change it because i didnt realize you had a specific kind you wanted». My overall experience at his office was not a good one and I will not be going back there ever again. The office is nicely decorated and clean but i will not pay to have a rude OBGYN.
If you want a RUDE, COLD, and IMPERSONAL OBGYN JOHN PICKEL JR is the guy for you.

I went here for the first time and dr pickle (male) was very rude, such a asshole didn’t explain anything and let me speak walked out without excusing himself. Wouldn’t recommend dr. Pickle!!!

My wife and i had a child with doctor pickle 4 years ago and loved how everything went smoothly. We just had another child with doctor picks and again smooth experience. Doctor pickle is awesome.

A suggestion if you have Blue Cross/​Blue Shield insurance to always bring a copy of the receipt from the last or current month with you every visit. Maybe this is just for this insurance, but all Omega clinics I think need to know if you have paid your insurance that month when you come in for your appointment. They only told me I needed to take this the first time, they didn’t tell me I needed proof every time and I think this is something they should remind patients don’t you think? Cause if you don’t have proof and you can’t get it on your phone, you will be asked to reschedule. I came for an sonogram appointment one time and forgot the papers and my smart phone Internet was not working to show them so I had to reschedule. The next appointment I had, I brought the papers but then they said that they don’t accept these particular pages anymore and that they needed to see a page from the insurance website and not an email notice from now on to prove that I’ve paid recently. Isn’t that something important that they would notify me before my appointment? That different papers are needed this time? I got frustrated again and I almost had to reschedule yet again but this time the Internet on my phone was working so I showed to them that way. I know it’s hard for these people to realize but not everyone as a super fast smart phone with super fast Internet. Also this place is a pain to call after hours. I see my practitioner at the Kraft street location. Twice I had to call after hours and the one on Kraft st voice machine gives me this number to talk to a nurse for emergencies. I call here after hours and I have to explain to them that I see my practitioner at Kraft st cause apparently they have no idea there are other Omega clinics and I have to explain to them that I see the nurse practitioner and not a doctor so she does not have an on call number. It’s like I’m speaking a different language to these people! What if I had a serious emergency where I was in pain and I had to explain all this to them before I can talk to a nurse? Anyways the doctors and nurses are really nice. It’s the receptionists that are stupid.

Just a small update for anyone considering this place, if you have Medicaid and you get an IUD be prepared for a «$ 200 fee» when it comes time to remove it. I can’t believe it, I asked to get Essure because I didn’t want another child and they convinced me to do the IUD «in case we wanted another». They put doubt in my head and now I“ve got this thing in me that I will probably have my spouse take care of, but then there’s always that pregnancy risk! They still want me to pay the balance to them, and I won’t. It wasn’t my fault that Dr. Oladell waited until after my coverage ended to consider checking my thyroid… that had been perfectly fine. I’m really frustrated at the lack of consideration after the baby was born.

It’s by far the worst doctor’s office I’ve ever been — waiting time is ridiculous, half o the secretaries and nurses are nice and the other half is just terrible, and my doctor was just careless. I had to come back because because my insurance wouldn’t cover re-​doing some exams somewhere else and I just dreaded it. I definitely don’t like it.
