Norpoint Shooting and Tactical Training Center

Super friendly staff and very easy process. I would definitely go back if I wanted an indoor place to shoot. Its not that expensive if you have your own targets, ammo, ear protection and eye wear.

Nice facility and good people. A few knuckleheads shooting, but that happens at every range.

Came here for the first time on Saturday to shoot my .22LR staff is friendly and knowledgeable with gun safety and tips on shooting your gun. There is a shop to purchase ammo, guns and other accessories for your convenience as well. The place is clean and well lit, safety equipment is provided. The range itself looks like a typical one with a switch to let you bring your target closer or further. The location is good and easy to find. Follow the rules and you will have a good time there. It’s a good place to hone in your skills and practice with your gun. Guns are available for rent at the counter as well. Worth noting is that hey are only allowing pistols and .22 rifles currently so keep the AK and AR at home.

Norpoint just recently opened back up and the interior is a lot nicer. The range itself it’s pretty nice and was pretty good even before the renovations. The biggest issue I have is with customer service. The employees are hit and miss with friendliness. They are often very short, cocky, demanding, and just make you feel like they are doing you a favor by letting you shoot at their range. I could easily give norpoint 5 stars if they got friendlier staff and actually focused on customer service. Just because the act of shooting guns is something to take serious, doesn’t mean that front desk staff can’t be kind and courteous.

A very nice range. Ample parking and the faculty was clean including restrooms. Not annoyingly loud like some ranges in the main part of the faculty

The staff was cordial and helpful. They seemed to know what they were doing and very attentive to your needs
Cost
Average based in the others in the county. Steady stream of customers and some were members, and they seemed to get in faster. I suspect some way they are expedited faster
Shop
Well appointed with a good section of everything from knives to leather holsters etc. Prices were suggested retail, no sale items noted
Well done range I will recommend it and continue to patronize

Typical small gun shop. not very knowledgeable staff with a bad attitude. Blake was complaining that if he heard one more person say they could get something cheaper at Cabelas he was going to go ballistic and tell the just F-​N go ahead. There’s the screw you customer service you would expect from a private company. You would think they would at least know about the firearms they are selling, and be a little friendlier with the amount of money people spend there. The guys at the range counter seemed a little friendlier. I think I will take blakes advice and go to cabelas from now on, even if it cost a little more, at least they are friendly there.

I’ve been here once. That’s all it took for me to decide that once was enough. I came here wanting to take a crack at my new 1911.
I approached the counter and stood in front of a worker, pretty funny, turns out I was wearing an invisibility cloak. Sweet! Once I got the employees attention, he treated me like I was a child in a candy store. He assumed that I have never fired a gun and was completely incompetent. Hmm, never mind the fact that I’m a combat veteran and have law enforcement in my background. Whatever.
The ranges looked good visually. But the hanging targets would constantly move due to their ventilation or draft or something. So much for accurate target practice with my new toy.
Time for this place to take some online correspondence classes in customer satisfaction.

I don’t know about Unilocal and their whole recommended/​non-​recommended review system… But I do know this, Norpoint Shooting Range is an excellent facility. The people are friendly the gunshop is awesome with a great selection and the prices are good (they don’t jack up their prices during a panic) — it’s just an all-​around great place for a family or an individual to go shooting. Love nor point!

I had an excellent time at Norpoint! We went on a Monday because it is ladies night… what this means is it’s half price for ladies, and also you get free use of any gun if you buy their ammo! Wow, that was super cool, I tried many many guns! :) They have a nice shop as well for guns, ammo, clothes etc. Comfy seating areas with snacks so you can chill for a bit etc. Everyone that worked there was knowledgable and super nice too.

Really, really nice range. They have a nice open seating area to hang out, multiple classroom areas and awesome shop as well as the actual range. It is a wonderfully female friendly environment. Not only do they have knowledgeable female employees, but they also host Well Armed Woman there every month. My BFF takes lessons there and can’t rave enough about how great her instructor is. The shop has all kinds of fun stuff (think Guns and Coffee). Can’t say enough good things :)

This place is great! Always seem to have a lot of guns/​ammo in stock.

The service at this place is worse than a greasy spoon. I stood around for several minutes waiting for the employees to acknowledge me. Then finally, out of exasperation, I asked the employees if I could be helped. The employee who waited on me seemed irritated that he had to do his job. The fellow was combative and rude, and to top things off he had an inappropriate conversation about genitalia with his co-​workers while I was browsing the gun selection. Also, on two prior occasions, the staff ignored me while a customer leaned against the counter bragging about all of the game he killed.
Today was the last straw. I will not give this dump my business again.

The facility was average when it came to customer service, I wasn’t turned off by unfriendly staff but then again wasn’t welcomed either. Smile and a welcome goes a long way. The range was spacious and warm unlike some others Ive been to. The reason i gave it only 3 stars was because the lack of options in rental equipment and gun shop. I wanted to test shoot a few revolver before i purchase but unable to, so I’ll probably return to use the range but not to shop. Classes are offered as well and looks well organized, may return for those!

Let me start by saying three stars in my eyes is average, neither good nor bad. The primary reason Norpoint got this rating was because I spoke with a gentleman about a revolver for my wife and needed some options. I explained my wife has probably shot more rounds than me and due to a hand injury has trouble with auto’s. His basic response was bring her in and I’ll convince her otherwise. I should note he was very nice, low pressure and informative about Norpoint but unless he is a doctor on the side there is no convincing. My advice would be better listening skills and we would of bought a gun from him, instead I went to West Coast Armory in Bellevue and bought a gun the same day. Yes, long drive but the guy there (Marshall) picked up right away my needs and offered several suggestions.
End result I’ll go back to use the range because it’s close and they were friendly. They will just miss out on future sales of guns, accessories, etc…

As of this writing I’ve had one experience at this range but it was very positive and I will go back. I was impressed with Brian’s focus being all about keeping everybody safe (safe handling and discharging of firearms, sharing knowledge to help people be more competent shooters, giving feedback about firearm selection, etc.)
Classes through The Firearms Academy of Seattle are held here for the Northies of the area.
The ladies room is amazingly well stocked with feminine accoutrement (a gun range luxury I’ve not seen elsewhere yet) which leads me to believe they have a fairly strong female clientele. Hmm. I’ve had no interactions re the gun store so can’t comment yet.

Norpoint is both shooting Range and Gun store.
The range supports a wide variety of weapons including special lanes for high power rifles. The folks there are diligent about keeping everyone safe and following loading and discharging rules while on the range.
The gun store carries a variety of weapons along with ammo, cases, sights. Where as they may not carry everything in stock, they are willing to help you find what you are looking for and offer very competitive prices. The folks are knowledgeable and can help diagnose and solve most gun related issues in house.
They are definitely worth the drive! Can’t wait for my M&P9 to get in!

I have been a member of the range in all of its incarnations since the first owners.
Despite suffering much neglect from previous owners, the current owner has done a really good job of revamping the range and repairing some of the neglect.
The range is very clean and well lit, & to me is a much better environment than the other local range, Sam’s down on Airport Rd near Lynnwood behind the big porn barn.
In the past the air conditioning at Norpoint has been very cold making the range an endurance feat to remain any length of time. Today while shooting, I was pleased to see several electric heaters on timers installed in the roof over the shooting lane.
Right now the pistol bay has the heaters, but the rifle bay was getting heaters installed as I was there.
The heaters are a great addition in the bays. Having the heaters on a timer is smart so that unused bays are not heated wasting electricity.
Only complaint on the heaters is I wish there was a temperature setting so that I could adjust how much heat I wanted. The heaters are either on or off, so I suggest dressing in layers so that you can peel or add layers as required.
Gun store is still rather sparse in its offering but has friendly staff. The gun store will order something for you if you want something not in stock. The gun store also sells reclaimed, uncleaned and unsorted range brass for a fair price. Brass is sold by caliber, but all mixed together if you are brand picky. Today I noticed only pistol brass, but did not see any rifle brass for sale.

Norpoint has a nice selection of hand guns and rifles you can rent and ammo you can purchase. You can work on your rifle and shotgun skills as well as hand gun in their indoor range. Also, they will be offering a wide range of classes.
The staff is knowledgeable and friendly and the range is safe and clean. You can bring your own guns and ammo if you have your own. The only thing they don’t allow is steel ammo or BBs. I was told the reason is because it can pierce their expensive backstop.
Their building is still under renovations and I’m eager to see what it looks like once they get it all finished. They are going to have a full retail area including firearms. They also plan on offering full gun smithing services if they don’t already.
This gun range was bought by new owners, and it’s obvious! The place is really taking on a new personality. Trust me, if you want a nice range to go practice… you should really check out Norpoint!
