Mister Days Sport Rock Cafe

Idk how this place gets such negative reviews from people. Honestly, its a crappy bar. BUT, the beer is cheap as can be, the happy hour is long, and the food that I got was totally worth it. I’ve been there twice and the one time I got a ton of beer for not very much money. The second time a got a lot of beer and a burger, for not very much money. What more do you really want? The trivia is a little loud I will say, but its a small price to pay to be able to pay $ 2 – 3 for a beer until 9pm.

I feel like this place gets a bad rap because of their club atmosphere at night. My review is just for the sports bar. The ladies here are extremely friendly and the food is good. Great specials and pretty much everything you would want in a sports bar. Mister Days doesnt really fit in with the other clarendon restaurants, and thats a good thing! Its nice to just have a casual place to eat good food, watch a game, and not feel like youre getting ripped off just because youre in Arlington.

Very good service tonight from a team of charming bartenders. They were prompt and polite, with good attitude. We had the fish tacos and beef tacos, and the fish were outstanding while the beef were just okay. We liked the $ 3 coronas!

Well just another Northern va establishment that is so damned commercialized!!! The place smells like mold and the staff sucks because the management sucks!!! Stop hiring any ex con off the street and start hiring quality people!!!

DANGER-​GLASS
My husband and I go to Mister days weekly. Today we had out of town friends visiting, so we took them to our favorite spot to watch Sunday football. We were finishing a pitcher of beer, and as I finished my drink, I noticed 2 pieces of what I thought were ice at the bottom of my glass. At first I thought it was ice, but when neither piece dissolved, I realized they were both shards of glass.
Fortunately I didn’t swallow either piece, but I took photos of them both as one of the two pieces was over an inch long.
I went to the hostess stand and asked for a manger. I told him what happened. I told him we have been regular patrons of the restaurant since we moved to the area a few years ago and we have never had a problem, but I requested that he waive our bill (2 pitchers of corona on special and an order of fries, not a high tab). The manager called me a liar. He told me that he thought I was trying to get free stuff. I told him that we come to mister days weekly and have for the 2.5 years we have lived in the area and that we have never had a problem.
He did not change, in fact he asked to see inside my mouth and then told me «I was fine.» I then to him I had photos, at which point he agreed to waive 50% of the bill. I told him that wasn’t enough, I could easily have swallowed glass. He again called me a liar but then agreed to waive 100% our bill.
I enjoyed my 2.5 years as a customer of mister days, but my first and last experience with the management has completely turned me off, and I will never again step foot inside this establishment. We tipped our waiter in full, but I advise all those who do not enjoy consuming glass to beware.

Came here for the Clarendon Halloween bar crawl and this place was jammin’! I had never been here before but the atmosphere was great, the dj was playing great tunes, and the drinks were good (not out of this world but not bad either). After coming to this place and seeing all the tv’s and the cool set up I definitely would like to come back to watch a game. It seems like a fun place to have some beers, burgers, and watch sports! Their nightlife scene is really the only thing I can speak too thus far and let me say, it is on point!

When I was there it was a decent well price tavern with a good crowd. Good beer and good food special.

Our last spot of the night and it wasn’t a bad turn out, Even though we Über it from Chinatown, the bar is only a few steps from the Clarendon Metro.
There was actually a long line outside that we were able to bypass thanks to the Door Guy. We copped us a space on the side not too far from the front door, so we were able to enjoy the crisp fresh air. Some of us made our way to the bar, where it was being WO-​manned by the Double Mint Twins who were on their A game! We got our drinks in all of a nano second, headed back to our space and listen to the DJ, who was pretty decent on his turntables or MacBook… LOL.
I am presuming during the day it’s a sports bar/​eatery aspect and at a night it becomes a «club», as the table and chairs were cleared out voila, there’s a dance floor. There’s a 2^nd level with a small area and bar, so double the space, double the fun.
Drinks were cheap, didn’t order any food but we danced for a few hours, had a fun time and jettison back to our side of town, via quick replay of Chinatown.
Could possibly be back during game day to experience the opposite of the club flow to see difference.

My husband and I come here regularly during their Friday HHs (he likes the basket of beef tacos) and when we want to watch a sporting event not on TV. Wait staff has always been pretty attentive, even on football Sundays. Solid choice if you just want to watch a sporting event (instead of just going somewhere to be seen).
As far as nightlife, I used to come here on weekend nights and always had a blast. But that was a long time ago.

I’ve been to Mister Days only a handful of times and have enjoyed myself each time. They have great friendly staff and every sports game you can imagine.
I highly recommend the Buffalo Chicken Wrap. Every restaurant I go to that sells a buff. chick. wrap, I’ll try at least once (as its one of my favorite dishes). This wrap is in the 98 percentile but beware, its a bit spicy!

Still the best and most consistent lunch in the entire Arlington area. Very highly recommended!

The longer I stay in Arlington, the more I start to like the places I used to hate. Only by comparison to the even shittier new restaurants and bars that have replaced the spots I used to like, of course.
This is a shitty bar with shitty food and shitty service, but it’s reasonably priced. It’s one of the only reasonably priced places anywhere near where I live. Like anywhere in this part of Arlington, it’s a nightmare on weekends and you shouldn’t come here, but on weekdays if you want a cheap drink and some crappy food for the price it should cost, I recommend Mister Days. I need to move.

Literally mister days get it together. Same bathroom attendant sitting on her phone taking up a whole sink which causes the line to be longer! I was here before she came to work and there was no line because everyone could use the sink. This girl sits on her phone all night and takes up so much space and doesn’t even do her job. Please do something.

This bar is literally where happiness goes to die. Friday and Saturday nights requires you to wait in a ridiculously long line to enter a bar that is full of annoying bros who think they are the coolest as well as girls who are dressed like they are in Las Vegas for some weird reason.

Thursday Night Trivia here is worth it, in addition to their super awesome and super cheap happy hour deals!
$ 2 beers and $ 5 appetizers which are really like meals? Yes, beer and food me now please. I love knowing that I can get a burger and fries or pizza or nachos or some other dish for that low of a price in this fun of a setting.
As far as trivia goes, there are a lot more teams than I expected at about 15 when I came. The space is huge so I don’t think you really need to arrive too early unless you have a big party.
If I can leave you with one thing, it’s knowing that Billy Joel is the first person to release a CD worldwide in 1982 named «52^nd Street.» You’ll thank me later! ;)

Pretty fun place to go. There’s two levels and lots of good music!

Mister Days: A Bards Tale (Of the Nightlife only.)
It was a dark and stormy night, and I was bored as hell.
I was at my job and all seemed well.
I forwarded the phones to ring my cell
and headed down Wilson, past alcohol hell.
I got to the door just in the nick of time
before some drunk chicks started getting in line
I nodded to one and she thought it was a sign
I think she was out of her mind.
The doorman was tall, Channing Tatum divided by 3
He asked me all tough, «let me see your ID»
I asked «what’s the cover» and he said «free»
that’s when I started to worry.
I went inside and the place was packed
I saw lots of college girls and guys from their frat
There were a few Asians, some Latinos scattered in back
and maybe 3 or 4 dudes who were black
The music was wack and the DJ was weak
he played ABBA so loud I couldn’t hear myself speak
the line was a mile long for me to take a leak
Mister Days sadly is past its peak.
So I headed for the door, head starting to hurt
Some drunk tween grabs a hold of my shirt
«You’re kinda cute» as she starts to twerk
I danced cuz, hey I’m no jerk.
So I went home not feeling dismayed

Came here to watch college basketball and there was a st patricks day pub crawl going on. Full of drunk fools. I can understand turning the music up on a saturday night, but at 4pm in daylight it was entirely too loud.
The Moscow mule I ordered was mainly ice and they forgot the mint. Waste of $ 7.
Then we saw a fight between a bouncer and a patron. It looked like the situation could have been handled a lot better… we will leave it at that .
Has potential. A lot of bar space and a good place to hang out on a Friday or Saturday night, however being sober and the day brings out how dingy the place is. The only saving grace was our wonderful server.

Your regular sports bar with regular bar food. They have an overwhelming amount of TV’s so its a sports fanatics dream. I had the buffalo wings which I didn’t love — they were so big and didn’t have much going on. My boyfriend and I haven’t been back — everything isn’t for everyone.

This place is a lot bigger than it seems from the outside! It’s great to reserve for groups and watching sports games. Make sure to go there a night/​time when there’s a deal as they’re always unbeatable!
The food is pretty good, I’d say a tiny step above your typical bar food.
Beware: the mac and cheese portions are really large. (not really a bad thing though since they taste amazing!)
