Dr. Rubin is very professional and knowledgeable. Unlike other dentist I’ve been to, he actually work on my teeth and not other technician. He doesn’t do much small talk which I prefer since I am not a fan of it either. He address my concerns but never suggest unnecessary procedure.

Dr. Rubin is terrific. I used to go to him all the time, but I switched jobs and couldn’t justify going all the way to Arlington on a lunch break. He’s incredibly nice and I miss his approach to dentistry — accommodating, patient, thorough, and not always trying to sell a bunch of unnecessary procedures. I recommend him to anyone in the area, and the prices are affordable.

Dr. Rubin takes the time to tell you what he is doing before he does it. He has explained a lot to me and is very patient. The building is run-​down and odd experience getting into the building but it is well worth it to me. I highly recommend.

Not a modern location, but he was able to see me the day after I called for an appointment. He was very nice, and talked with me about some things that I may need, but I am going to get a second opinion on it from another dentist. He explained what was covered by my insurance, and what my approximate costs would be before doing any work.
It was a bit surprising to have a dentist actually do the cleaning, but I am not complaining. I thought that it was great service. The only reason I wouldn’t give another star was that the forms for a new patient should be online, it would make the experience so much easier in the office.

The first 2 times I went to Dr. Rubin I was reasonably happy. He cleaned my teeth and gave me 6 month check up. Then I needed a crown. He did a very poor job — I am going to another dentist to fix his work. His new receptionist is very rude — I called once and I asked to leave a message for the doctor — she told me he was too busy to get a message. Another time she changed an appointment by leaving a voicemail. I did not get the message in time — she called me up and chewed me out for being late. I voiced my concern to Dr. Rubin and he did the yeah yeah — obviously wasn’t listening. He has cost me a great deal of money and time.

You know why I love this guy? I went in there after not having been to the dentist in years (didn’t have insurance) and he did not give me any crap or judgement.
It’s easy to get an appointment and you can be sure that you will not wait long. Usually, I am in and out in thirty minutes when I go in for a cleaning.
He’s a pleasant guy and usually has on good tunes when he’s cleaning your teeth.
I recommend him for anyone looking for a no nonsense dentist to get the job done.

Dr. Rubin provides a very fast and efficient experience. I’ve only had a cleaning from him, but it was thorough and quick. He isn’t much for small talk like other reviewers have stated but he is very professional and knowledgeable and he will answer your questions, should you have any. The location is conveniently located off of Columbia Pike and S Courthouse Road at the lobby of the apartment building. The staff is friendly for the most part and I haven’t experienced any issues checking in or out or making any appointments. Also, like the other reviewers have stated, the facilities are not «modern» and does look like something out of the 80’s, but it is well maintained and clean.

Dr. Rubin was great. Extremely professional, and he did a thorough cleaning. Best of all, he did NOT try to upsell me.
I recently had a terrible experience with a dentist on my DHMO plan, so and Rubin was so good I am contemplating going on an individual plan or paying out of pocket to see him.
HIs facilities are not modern, and he is not the most personable dentist, but if you want someone who care about your health over their wallet, go see him.

This office isn’t exactly modern, but it’s easy to get an appointment and he takes care of my teeth in a quick and efficient manner. There’s no phony attempts to make conversation, or trying to tell me I need a biteguard or wisdom pulled when they aren’t bothering me.
