I had my doubts originally when I first went here back in 2005 because from the outside it looks like other barber shops but I have been coming back ever since. Kim is a real sweet heart and makes you feel welcome every time you come through the door.

At Kool Kuts, you’ll get exactly what you pay for. Not the greatest and I have since switched to a different, slightly more expensive barber, but there are far worse places you could go and you will definitely get your money’s worth. I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a budget haircut.

Kim is a great stylist! I get high lights and low light foils and she always does it perfectly. Kool Kuts prices are so much more reasonable than the overpriced salons in Arlington. Great for families as well.

Kim does a phenomenal job every single time. She is extremely kind and does a great job with men and women’s hair. Super affordable, I drive here from far just to get my hair cut here! Don’t let the facility fool you, it’s a great place to get your hair cut.

After reading the Unilocal reviews I gave Kool Kuts a try. I’m so happy I did. I am visiting from the west coast and didn’t have time for a cut before I flew to Virginia. I was desperate and took a chance on getting my hair colored too. I couldn’t have been more pleased. Wish I lived less than 3000 miles away so I could come back regularly. Perfect color and a great haircut!

I LOVE KOOL KUTS! I’ve been going to kool kuts since I was in elementary school (i’m in college now). Kim the owner always remembers me and is so sweet. Their english isn’t great, but they are good at understanding what you want. The last time I was there I had 8 inches cut off my hair (a scary haircut for anyone) but it turned out beautiful and she followed the pictures I had brought. Price is good too, for a wash cut and style I was only charged $ 35. Best hair cuttery in arlington!

Got my haircut by the other lady – not the owner, who unfortunately does not speak English, though I think she does understand some English. I explained what I wanted and showed a picture as well. The haircut was nothing at all like the picture, in fact it was much shorter and completely different from what I wanted. I don’t mind short hair but this was not a good haircut. I was also charged $ 30, plus tip, so another big shock for me. I was expecting to pay less.

Kim, the owner does such a great job cutting my husband and my kids hair. She is always… I mean always open! I see her on my way to work opening up the salon and she still is there in the evenings. She is friendly and does a great job! FYI, she only accepts cash or checks.

After trying out a few local places for sub-​$ 20 haircuts, I came to Kool Kuts. I have now had 4 haircuts, and they have all been perfect despite my general cluelessness about how people ought to cut my hair. The two Vietnamese ladies who run the place are very friendly and professional. Heck, one time I lacked cash/​check to pay, and they were cool with me leaving to find an ATM. I think a haircut here tends to run about $ 14 or $ 15. There’s usually not a wait for walk-​ins, either.
