Hyatt Place Dallas/Arlington

My reservation was clearly a King they gave me a double. Then lied and said it I booked it wrong. Room was not clean and did not have soap in it.

I am going to base this off the level of hotel this is.
I would rate as a value hotel.
Service: The people at the front desk are the nicest people you could ever meet. They never said no and they were polite as could be.
The hallways smelled really weird… like men’s locker room-​like feet.
Room: Nothing fancy at all-​The linens were clean and room was clean and had a lot of space for one person (like me). And the room was relatively quiet in the hallway not a lot of noise. The rooms are great for a family because there is a sleeping space and a living area.
I wish however it was in a better area where there was more things in walking distance nearby (like eateries).
*I only stayed here for business a 1 day trip.

This Hyatt place is okay. A lot of people are staying here for spring break so it’s a given its packed. Especially at breakfast. Place is clean I saw no bed bugs but just dingy towels and linen. They looked like no one knows what bleach is around here. They have a constant dingy look to them and stained. Very thin walls but great location to six flags you can walk to it from here. Plenty of restaurants around a 5 mile radius. Staff has been nice so far. They rushed to check me in which was nice. Uncomfortable beds. In the room I was in there is a permanent dent in the bed room 522. Mattress definitely needs to be changed. Room is decently cleaned. Overall it is okay. It’s not great but okay. I see many family’s in the pool here as well and they seem to be enjoying it. Free wifi and basic quick breakfast in the morning. Nothing fancy.

Average nice hotel. Rooms were clean and spacious for just me and my boyfriend. Bathroom was really small, not made for big people at all. But even I kept getting hit by the door while trying to maneuver it to sit on the toilet and I’m a small petite girl. The shower took forever to warm up and not many places to put toiletries, ladies. The AC was bogus too. AC would only turn on for about 10 minutes and stay off for the longest time and there was no way to adjust the the thermostat. Free breakfast was good, they even had grilled breakfast sandwiches compared to the usual waffles, cereal and coffee choices at other chain hotel places. Tv channels were limited so we didn’t bother watching anything. Overall, pretty clean place to stay and while I appreciate the Eco-​friendly tone, this is Texas and our weather is bipolar so I would’ve liked the option to lower the AC in order to get a better nights sleep.

We typically stay at Hyatt properties when taking vacation or weekend trips. We didn’t have issues with the hotel per se (although the bed in our room wasn’t comfortable, so maybe look at getting a new mattress for room 515; AND upon check-​out, we are typically asked how our stay was, but the girl did not ask — she was too busy with trying to get us out of there so she could restock the breakfast bar), but we found out during our stay that there were high school football play off games taking place at the AT&T Stadium, and a few junior high school games as well. There were kids running up and down our hallway til well past 1a on Saturday, ¹¹⁄₂₈. We did not sleep well at all. We did call down to the main desk and informed the receptionist, but I don’t believe it was handled since the kids continued to play in the hallway. I don’t know that we would stay at this hotel again, because of the closeness to such huge venues in the DFW area, Six Flags being the main one that would attract families with young children. We chose this hotel to attend the Christkindl Market that was just down the road, but I’ll think again if we decide to attend this festival again next year.
If one doesn’t mind noise and being kept awake most of the night, then this might be the hotel for them. Room was clean, the breakfast was decent and varied on the two days we stayed.

Going to give this place 4 stars based off overall value of the hotel. We managed to score an amazing deal on Priceline for the hotel that made it too good to pass up, and all in all it was a pretty good stay (6 total nights). The rooms are very spacious, which made the stay just a little bit easier for travelers of more than two people. The living room sectional was nice, but make no mistake about it, the pull out bed felt like a pull out bed. The king size bed was pleasantly comfortable and the kitchenette was a huge plus. Anyone with kids knows how beneficial a second sink and built in fridge can be, and this hotel has both standard. The two major disappointing factors were the paper thin walls and doors, and the chaotic breakfast area. If you’re going to have someone sleep on the pullout bed/​sectional, you better hope they’re a deep sleeper because every ounce of noise pours through the thin walls and super thin door. Every door that opens and every person that walks by sounds like they’re in your room. The breakfast is surprisingly decent when they serve the breakfast sandwiches. The breakfast area is not. Trying to find a place to sit is nearly impossible and we were forced to take our food to our room three mornings. We ate at roughly different times each day, and every time it was a madhouse. The breakfast, when not serving breakfast sandwiches, is just a continental breakfast with powdered eggs and sausage links on the side (disappointing). Service was pretty good and housekeeping was on point. Given a good deal, we would definitely stay here again! Overall good experience!
***I almost docked the hotel another star for the extremely SLOWWWWWW WiFi, but since it was free and the business center is easily accessible I’ll let it pass. Don’t make plans to stream Netflix in your room though, or you will be greatly disappointed.

We were here to attend cowboys game. The staff and cleanliness of hotel was great. The parking was a little confusing since it seems majority was makes no parking fire zone however several cars were parked there and we ended up parking there as well. It states the stadium is 1.8 miles but is a good walk about 50 minutes. The shuttle at hotel doesn’t take you there on game days but will take you anywhere else in 5 mile radius including airport. The food was t anything spectacular and for the price Woolf expect better especially for ²⁴⁄₇ meal yours can place with front desk

I can’t give enough stars to this place. Every member of the staff has been super friendly. The room is beautiful with an amazing bed and linens. The living room area had a comfy couch (and fold out bed) a TV, desk and bar area. The mocha and fruit from the bar were great. (Can’t review the breakfast, we slept in both days). And it’s convenient to everything. Housekeeping came upon request when we left for a day of activities and did an amazing job. There is an hourly shuttle to the ballpark available as well (we missed the one we wanted so we just drove).
Words to the wise:
*there are no microwaves in the room (may have to do with the ²⁴⁄₇ room service) but there is a fridge and mini fridge.
*there isn’t a bathtub (only a very nice shower)
*there are no liners in the trash cans (which is so strange).

My boyfriend and I came to Arlington to see a Rangers game (they won, yay!!) and so we wanted a hotel close by. This hotel is maybe 1 mile away from the stadium and they had a trolley that took us there and back for free, which was really convenient. Definitely a plus! Staff were very friendly and at check in even offered us a tour since we had never been. Everyone was very friendly. The room was nice and the bed/​pillows were very comfortable. The room was a good size as well. You walk in and you have a couch, fridge and little work station if you need. The only thing that could be improved would be the shower. The water pressure was a bit low. Overall, great location and I would stay there again.

Great hotel! Love that they are pet friendly. (We brought our 2 pittys) Breakfast was great and even though the bar only has a small selection of wine/​liquor its still a nice spot to hang out for the night. Six flags is also right around the corner

This hotel has many things going for it: free, parking, free wifi, free (good) breakfast, large rooms, close to 6 flags. On my week long exploration in to Texas, this was by far one of my favorite hotels we stayed at. They also have a menu with bakery items and hot food you can order ²⁴⁄₇.
There were only a few minor things: hallway was hot due to broken air conditioner (5^th floor), too many unsupervised kids at breakfast (I don’t blame the hotel for that), and the bathtub was small and dingy. The inside shower liner had that pinkish soap scum on it. I was not interested in a bath, but a shower worked put well. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would have no problem staying here again. Totally worth it.

I normally stay at Marriott or Hilton brand hotels and this is my first time staying at a Hyatt. I have to say I am very pleased with my experience so far. Very friendly staff, very easy check in process and the hotel is spotless. The rooms are modern, spacious and quite comfortable for extended business travelers. I don’t feel like I’m in a cramped room as I have experienced at some hotels. The desk area has plenty of room for a laptop, legal pad, and whatever else you may need to have quick access to. The breakfast blows any hotel breakfast buffet out of the water. Very happy I booked this hotel!

I tried to cancel a room and speak with a manager and they told me no manager was on site. How does a hotel not have a manager on site? I have left several messages to have a manager call me back and I still have not received a response. I think this is terrible business practice and I am terribly disappointed. They canceled my room even though I asked them not to. I would not recommend staying here– they are not accommodating or communicative.

I’ve stayed at this property about 40 times & the staff is great & the rooms are very modern & clean. Additionally, the room rates are very reasonable. I travel often & Hyatt has the best rewards program. I can’t say enough positive things about this hotel.

Decided to drive from California to see the beautiful AT&T stadium, I read the reviews and decided to book our stay at the Hyatt. So after our cowboys win we went back to the hotel wanting to relax, both rooms were not clean! Ugh! After calling the front desk clerk he mentioned there was nothing he can do nor was there a manager available to speak with. What kind of business does not have a manager that can be there to resolve issues that arise. So we figured over $ 900 wasted because the beds were so uncomfortable and their customer service was less than accommodating. Also don’t plan on having dinner in the lobby it took 1 hour before we decided to ask the host to cancel our order. No dinner, no good nights rest but hey, our cowboys won!

Would not hesitate to stay here again. Very extremely clean and modern, outstanding staff of friendly and helpful people that are just plain nice. Met family from Japan in Dallas and we stayed here with two rooms. Went to the Dallas Cowboys game where they beat the Vikings. Everything is within walking distance and the free breakfast was WAY better than expected! HUGE TV’s in the rooms as well. Perfect for sports fans.
The breakfast is actually awesome, an all you can eat buffet of really good stuff. We ate breakfast here every day we stayed as there’s no need to go anywhere else with this much great food for free.

Not bad, not bad. I stayed here recently (last weekend) with my mom and brother because we were sending my bro off to college: sniff: The room we got was roomy and clean!
There were 2 full size bed (it was soooo not a queen size) and a sectional couch. The room was pretty big and the 3 of us slept comfortably.
Checking in and out was easy and they even offered free breakfast downstairs.
I do highly recommend this place if you need to stay around this area. Six Flags is literally next door and finding food around the area wasn’t an issue.

This was my second time staying at Hyatt Place in Arlington. I was in Arlington for the Cowboy/​Giants game.
The hotel is about a 25 minute walk to Cowboys Stadium. It’s a little closer walk to the Rangers stadium. Six flags is located right across the street. There is also a great sports bar, Humperdinck’s right across the parking lot. They provide shuttle service to and from DFW airport which is great. They offer free continental breakfast. This consisted of cereals, toast, bagels, fruit, juices and coffee/​tea.
The room was nice and large. We had a double bed and the sectional couch had a pull-​out. Their was a nice size flat tv, a desk area, and fridge. The room was clean and was well taken care of by housekeeping.
The staff has been very welcoming and helpful on both my stays here. Definitely recommend.

The hotel room was wonderful. The (king size) bed was super comfortable and big and plush. The living room was nice and homey and great when we brought breakfast back to the room. The pictures on the website are pretty accurate.
Now the downside, the shampoo and conditioner didn’t really make you feel clean. It felt like the cheap shampoo/​conditioner/​soap that left a film on you, but nothing could wash it off. The elevators were slow, and in the mornings, it was difficult getting anywhere because the elevators were slow and crowded. Also, the breakfast area is a bit crazy in the morning because it seems like everyone was trying to eat in a small space.
The area is under construction and near Six Flags and Jerry world, but there’s not much else to do there.
Definitely priceline this hotel fro the best rates. I got mine for $ 45/​night (Sat-​Su stay).
