BEDBUGS! BEDBUGS! BEDBUGS! Before our check in i called the hotel due to a couple of questions i had. The front clerk has absolutely no customer service she’s rude and answers with an attitude. upon our check in coming from Los Angeles my boyfriend and I expected a great stay. Nevertheless we had sleepless nights and woke up with bites(at the time we thought they were rashes due to different detergent being used to wash the sheets) Little did we know they were BEDBUG bites! gross!!! not to mention were paying over $ 100 a night. once i found the BEDBUG i took it to the front desk(4am) he was nice and understood my upsetness. He took pictures and said he would let the manager know. we immediately checked out. what the sleep we got! now i have to worry about my luggage having bedbugs not to mention we checked out Sunday at about 4am and still have NOT heard a word from the hotel manager… it is now Tuesday!

Clean room at top floor with nice view of attractions. Bathroom was clean and up to date except poor choice for a toilet the crane ambassador which acts with performance less than a peasant. Bed was comfortable. The economy breakfast was good and there is a VB Brazilian next to On the border within 2 min walk. Six flag parking is less than 5 min bonus.

Stayed here for a Rangers baseball game. Super affordable for the event and less than 1 mile away from the stadium. They have a shuttle service that takes you down there. Very nice room. Plenty of space. Large balcony and nice pool. Only complaint is the sad vending machines.

Doesn’t look that good from the outside. Very small, bare bones lobby and breakfast area. Our room was updated, beds were very comfortable, bathroom very clean, good water pressure, AC worked like a charm in the room but hallway was too warm. Microwave and mini fridge in the room. Pool was good. Didn’t love room being on the interstate side of the building, but still slept soundly and comfortably, and that’s what mattered. Desk staff, Cynthia, was very friendly upon check in. Convenient to the ballparks, Six Flags, water park and very short drive to plenty of restaurants. Would stay here again primarily for the cleanliness, comfort, and convenient location.

Stay away if you have pets!!! Staff gave wrong information on pet fees and management was rude about their presence. Not very safe area to walk them either. Ended up paying more for the dogs to stay at the hotel then the two people in the room. Rooms are old and dingy at best. The service here needs a serious fix.

We have two rooms here tonight 7÷27÷2015, we told management that the air conditioning wasn’t working in one room, and the guy at the front seat told us its 100 degrees outside. I told them that it’s cold in the other room so they said they would have maintenance to come fix it, we just returned from the ball game it’s 85 in here and the manager said there isn’t anything they can do about it until tomorrow. Then we asked for a rollaway bed so we could all pile in one room and they said we had to pay for it… they shouldn’t be any where near customer service. I understand there are things you can’t control but To charge someone for a bed when the customer has paid for a room that the air conditioner isn’t working is uncalled for.

Very friendly and helpful staff. They gave me a trolley ticket to the ballpark(only ½ mile but when it’s 100 degrees it’s helpful) and gave me pizza coupons. The room was very clean. Furnishings and plumbing look nearly new. Got a king size bed, writing desk and chair, fridge, microwave, and room safe for $ 40 on of all, they’re pet friendly :) The only con was the rough towels. My rating may seem deceiving from my giving it 5 stars. Obviously HoJo’s is not a 5 star hotel, but this class of hotel it doesn’t come much better.

Stayed here for two nights to catch a Rangers game. Staff was friendly and gave us tickets for the trolley to take us to the ballpark. Was close enough to easily walk back to the hotel after the game. Great rates for the ideal and easy to find hotel.

If it weren’t for location I’m not sure this hotel would survive at all. We stayed here the night before a Cowboys game. It made it easy for us to walk over Sunday morning to the game and not worry about parking, etc. The game was great. The hotel? Not so much. The gym is a joke. The pool seemed ok to me but was too cold for me to jump in. The room was not horrible, but more on par with a 50 dollar a night motel than what we paid. The towels were like sandpaper. The staff was attentive enough. Our remote didn’t work when I got to the room and so they came up — it took maybe 10 minutes though — to give me a new one.

Stayed here for a midweek Rangers game. Rate was good. Room was clean with a cold A/C. Walking distance of the ballpark or 6 Flags but I would recommend taking advantage of the trolley if going to the Rangers game. A couple of restaurants located right behind it but I would avoid the On The Border for anything other than drinks. Will be my go to hotel for future games.

Location is literally within walking distance of Six Flags and the Texas Rangers Ball Park. The front desk is very friendly and they provide you FREE trolley passes to get you to certain areas of the city. The rooms are fairly good size and the continental breakfast in the morning is pretty big compared to some other hotels. I would stay here again if I was in the area but there is limited parking on the front side.
