This review is long, long overdue, as I’ve been seeing Dr. Ana for acupuncture treatment for years — since the end of 2012, I believe. I initially started seeing her because I had been taking birth control pills for years and began not feeling «right,» and despite going off the pill cold turkey, things did not improve, and actually, the severity of my issues became all the more clear. I did not want to go to a regular ob/​gyn only to be told «go back on the pill.» I was sick of treating the symptoms (i.e., masking the problem), and not resolving the root issues. So, instead, I went to see Dr. Ana, and it has truly been life changing. (Btw, I gave birth to my daughter in Nov ’14, and conceived with no issues whatsoever.)
I could not ever hope to explain or convey the positive impacts she and her therapies have provided me in a review that would fit on Unilocal.Instead, I’ll just say that within a couple months of starting intensive treatment, I was back to feeling «right» and my physical functions also indicated I was. Since then, I have backed off the frequency of my treatments because I’m not experiencing severe issues like I was when I started. However, I experienced such a great improvement in my health and well-​being initially, anytime something is bothering me — sports injuries (I do crossfit and lift regularly)/muscle tightness, illness, etc. — or if I just want to feel great, I make an appointment. More often than not, I feel better by the time I walk out of the door. Pretty much without fail, if something has been nagging me for a bit (particularly neck/​upper back stiffness for me), and I finally go in, my thought after one treatment is, «Why didn’t I go in sooner!?»
Dr. Ana is one of the kindest, warm, and genuine people you will ever meet. Furthermore, in my experience, her knowledge and expertise are unmatched. Besides her acupuncture skills, I learn something new in the way of home remedies and natural alternatives for health and well-​being every time I visit. She is a true guru.
I have also had several treatments with her daughters, Tiffany and Tammy, whom also work at the clinic. Most of my experiences have been with Dr. Ana, though, and her daughters offer all kinds of additional services in which I have not partaken. So I can’t speak to this as much. However, the treatments I have had with her daughters were great, too, and they are both so kind and caring as well. I feel like I’m visiting friends when I walk in the clinic. At this point, I guess I am!
If you go to Heavenly Bodies Clinic, like me, your only regret will be that you didn’t do it sooner.

I have been going to Dr. Ana for a year now. My main focus is anxiety. I can not say enough good things about my treatment. When I leave the clinic I feel like the weight of the world is off my shoulders. Dr. Ana goes above and beyond for her patients. I am so happy to have found her.

You know those days when you really need something to help you through or just get some perspective? whether it’s mental, physical or both? Well I was surprised with an acupuncture and treatment thanks to my amazing friend yesterday as well as a detox sauna and my day was turned right around. This was truly transformative.
This was my first time with eastern medicine and I’ll be honest, while i was skeptical before, now I’m convinced. Tammy really knows her stuff, change my day, my week, and who knows… Thank you.

I’ve been going to HBClinic since 2002. I started for neck and back pain, then went through a weight loss plan (40 pounds!) and pretty soon was going to see Dr. Ana for whatever came up. She has pretty much saved my from becoming hooked on pain killers, anti depressants, and who knows what else. I highly recommend TCM and this clinic.

I visit Kathe Ana every Wednesday for acupuncture and she has changed my life and I am pretty convinced she’s magic. I am not attending for any particular ailment but just as part of my preventative care.
