I accidentally dropped my MacBook Pro and the screen went black and would not come back on, but the computer itself still worked. I could hear the sound, just no display. It was the first week of classes and I was panicking thinking how long it would take to fix and how much $$ it would cost me. The Apple stores were booked and I wouldn’t be able to bring it in for at least two days! Desperate, I googled Apple computer repair and Hardin Computer popped up and they were Apple certified! I went it and dropped off my MacBook 20 minutes before they closed. I was immediately greeted by a friendly lady who took my info and called the guy to repair my laptop. I told them how desperate I was and asked if they could rush the repair. He told me he’d do his best.
Fast forward to the next day around noonish.
I get a call from Hardin Computers and I’m thinking they can’t fix it. But no! They said it was ready for pick up! When I got there the same friendly lady told me they would not charge me! I was so happy.
This place is amazing and I would definitely recommend bringing your computer here to be repaired. Amazing service, fast repair time, professional establishment with a friendly and understanding staff!

Apple referred me here to upgrade the storage on my MacBook Air. Hardin Computer told me upgrading the storage would not be worth the high price. They spent a few hours with me helping me optimize the space on my computer so that extra storage was not necessary. They did not even charge me for the time to help me. I would definitely come back if I need something!

Any Computer repair location that I can walk in and find the person at the front desk smiling while repairing an Apple Computer, hits me in a good way.
Clean simple store that has a similar motif as an Apple store.
My MacBook Pro 17 inch laptop died on me after 4 ½ years. I suspected it was a motherboard failure.
I had changed the hard drive and the memory a couple of years ago. As a result of my individual changes inside the computer, Apple Computer and certified Apple repair technicians would not touch my computer. Not even to diagnose it.
I have to admit to being in a bit of a panic. My computer is my primary hobby as an avid amateur photographer. I need it for postprocessing photos and the occasional video I make.
After multiple repair shops turned me down, I called around for several days until I found a sympathetic person near my home. They commented they had heard of Hardin computers in Arlington.
What can I say? They repaired my computer in a timely fashion and did it for free! Evidently, there was an Apple Computer recall on my exact computer for the exact problem. They were able to repair it under the recall and there was no cost to me.
I am a happy man! Five stars to Hardin computers for being able to repair my computer when no one else would even diagnose it.

It is extremely convenient to come here for my AppleCare repairs. I had a hard drive replaced here and an LCD assembly. Both were quick and the service was great. ⁵⁄₅

I spilled coffee on my 2013 MacBook Pro which I use for Work as a marketing strategist. I took it straight to the Apple Store and they informed I would have to pay Apple 1245 $ to ship it out since there was damage. I suspected that they didn’t even take apart my Mac so I took it to Harden. They told me it would cost 99 $ to diagnose it and I said fine. 10 minutes after leaving the store I got a call saying my MacBook is fine and don’t need any repairs! What a relief!
I’m never trusting «Genius Bar» again and Apple should be ashamed of this type of business practices.
Definitely recommend Harden and I’ll refer everyone at the firm to them!

Hardin Computer feels like a car repair shop in a way. There’s always going to be low reviews and the trick is picking out the lesser of two evils. Chances are you’re only here because the Apple Store couldn’t fix whatever problem you had and referred you to an authorized retailer and it was between this and Simply Mac at about 3 – 4 stars vs 1 star respectively. (This is a late review and Hardin had more than 2.5 stars when I first checked them out.)
So for me, I had to replace a hard drive on an ’07 iMac. Overall, I came out of the experience unscathed, but Hardin Computers is not very newb friendly at all which shouldn’t really matter to them because there is basically no competition. It was up to me to look out for myself and voice any problems I had. Whoever it is I got at the front doesn’t really have computer knowledge and it only there to act as the face of the store. I suspect that whoever it is that is fixing the computers is not the customer service type so this set up is a necessity. So when you do get that phone call from the computer guy keep that in mind. Yup, I’m Captain Obvious.
Anyway. For me everything was done on time as promised and the price was what was also promised. The only kicker though was that I wanted to test my computer after picking it up to make sure it was good to go. The guy at the front said that they would never let me go out of the store without checking the computer only to change his mind later and assure me that it’s working. Lucky for me it did work and I’m sure that they would have remedied any problem had I found one, but dang, why put me and yourself in that position?

I spent 12 hours… that’s right — TWELVE HOURS on the phone with Apple Support trying to get my computer «diagnosed» even tho from the beginning I told them we (2 other techs in my family) thought the issue was the video board. Finally Apple agreed and set up an in-​home repair per my Apple-​Care contract. That was YESTERDAY. Apple told me it would be 48 hours before I heard from Hardin Computer and that it would be up to 4 days for the repair to happen.
Today, I received an email today from Hardin saying they could come by THIS AFTERNOON to replace the board if I was available (because AppleCare didn’t change my old phone number they had to email me). I called Rick (the owner) back on the number he included in the email and in less than 3 hours he was here and my computer was up and running PERFECTLY!
Not sure WHO serviced the other people on this wall but Rick was FABULOUS! He was polite, thorough, helpful and even will help me get my hard drive replaced (as there is a recall on the model I have by Apple). Couldn’t have asked for a better experience or a better serviceman to deal with.
I too have been to the Apple Store in Ft. Worth and have spent HOURS just waiting to see a rep. This was SUCH a great alternative. I would NEVER hesitate to recommend Hardin Computers to anyone! They were FABULOUS!

Called these guys out to help me setup my network and get time machine working to back everything up. They did get the network up, but the backup never worked. I thought everything was working so I paid him and he left. After he was gone we realized that the backup was not working. They would never again respond to me. Not even one email back.

If you want a faster and friendlier service than what the «Geniuses» at the Apple Store has to offer, go to Hardin Computers.
I was getting tired of making appointments at the Apple Store only to find out that you have to wait an additional 20 – 30 minutes for a «Genius» to come see you. Not only that, but they are always trying to rush you out of there even if it means giving you the run around. Hardin Computers is completely different.
Hardin Computers has got to be one of the nicest Authorized Apple Service Providers in all of DFW. The gentleman who greeted me was named Topher. He was amazingly helpful, friendly and professional. I needed to get the battery on my Macbook Pro replaced and he quoted me a quicker turn around than all 3 Apple Stores that I called.
They got the job done a little early and called me up right away. When I showed up to pick up my Macbook, Topher even gave me some pointers on how to prolong the life of my new battery!
So overall, if you want quicker and friendlier service than the Apple Store, Hardin Computers is the way to go.
I will be coming here from now on to get all my iGoodies serviced. :)

Dropped my iMac off last Friday to have the sound card fixed, since I wasn’t getting audio from my left channel. When I got home that night, I noticed that both my house number & street weren’t correct on the work order. That should have been my first clue that this repair wasn’t going to go smoothly.
Anyway, they claimed that my machine would be done by Wednesday at the latest, due to Monday being Labor Day. On Tuesday, I receive a voicemail from someone at Hardin saying they have questions about my repair. Within 5 minutes I’ve called back, and I’m being told that my iMac is ready for pickup. A day early? Eureka! I couldn’t be more thrilled. Picked it up at no charge since the work was done under my Apple Care warranty.
Once I get my computer home, I check the audio and. It sounds exactly the same — meaning it hasn’t been fixed. Come to find out, there was a «communication breakdown,» and that the computer wasn’t ready to be picked up at all. Apparently the guy who answered my callback didn’t realize that the technician had questions for me, spoke out of turn and said that it was done. Nobody stopped me from picking it up. I signed the completed work order and left.
I knew I should have tested the audio while there, but I wanted to believe that these guys had managed to accomplish this task early. Silly me.
Now I get to bring my machine back up to Hardin for a couple of days, putting me even further behind on my production schedule. I should have just taken it to Apple to begin with, because this has been a tremendous waste of my time.

I was given the name and number of this business from the Apple Store in Fort Worth to compare their rate and cost for a part for my iMac. I called and told the person what I wanted to do. The rude male said it’s the same as Apple. I hadn’t told him their rate or price. He cut me off and didn’t dare try to assist me. I also told him I was a previous customer a couple of years ago and this iMac had been serviced there but that didn’t matter. Their location is closer to my home than the Apple Store so I was willing to take my business back to them. My advise, go directly to an Apple Store for any repairs and for great service because you sure won’t get it at Hardin Computers. If a company can’t be helpful or customer service oriented on the phone, why spend your hard earned money with them?
