Green Eco Cleaners

I have to wear suits to the office every day and need regular dry cleaning services. So I’ve been going here pretty regularly for about two years now. Great customer service and usually have your stuff done in about two days. Since they do their dry cleaning on site, their prices are better than other dry cleaners in the area. You know, those place that want to charge $ 10 for one dress! Not Green Eco Cleaners. Never had an issues with the dry cleaning chemicals fading my clothes like some other low budget dry cleaners. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a good dry cleaner.

Been using them for two years and always happy with quality and prices. Consistent, conveniently open good hours including Sunday morning and good parking lot.

Green Eco is an average dry cleaners. They’re not among the best cleaners I’ve ever used, nor are they among the worst.
I come here mainly for their shirt service. When it’s good, it’s good. I have broad shoulders, and with most places I end up with huge wrinkles in the back of the shoulders because they just slap it on the pressing machine and don’t pay attention to the small stuff. Not so here… my shirts come out looking great.
Except when they dont. Good as they are I think they need more quality control. Today I found my 5^th shirt in 2 months that was pressed wrong. Sometimes the collar is goofed up, sometimes they’ll miss one arm completely, other times it looks like whoever pressed it had their eyes closed. A huge deal? No… I have lots of work shirts. But it makes me feel like they rush or something. I don’t understand.
Their dry cleaning for me has been good. Nothing much to say.
Here’s my one word of genuine criticism: I would NOT bring my rugs here. I had a frustrating experience recently, and found them disorganized.
So, if you’re looking for a competent neighborhood cleaners and are willing to tolerate a few more mistakes than you might like, this is a good place. If you’re looking for perfection, go to Raffi’s in north Arlington (but be prepared to pay a good bit more. Green Eco is pretty inexpensive).

Would give zero stars if possible. I should have read reviews. They put bar code stickers on my clothes that would not come off easily. I took the clothes back to them to have them remove the stickers, which they did. But they could not remove the marks left by the adhesive. I will not be returning.

I took my clothes there for about a year. I had no complaints on their pricing or their cleaning. I stopped going there because I got tired of the women who works the morning shift (or at least did a year ago) acting like I was bothering her when I dropped off/​picked up my clothes. Then she was really rude to my girlfriend. We took our business to Cupid Cleaner, which is less convenient for us, but at least they’re not hostile.

WHY would a dry cleaner put impossible to remove barcode labels on somebody’s clothes and not even warn you at the time of drop off? My clothes came out nicely, but having moved away from the shop I am constantly reminded (annoyed) by the barcodes that remind me of the place.

Service is okay. One garment still had some spots left, which I pointed out and they re-​did. There is parking available and the clothes were ready when stated.
My gripes with them: 1) service can be slow so be prepared to wait around; 2) prices are not clearly listed and won’t be mentioned unless you ask; 3) while they improve the look of clothes (especially men’s shirts), they don’t do well on freshening up clothes so they don’t smell cleaner, big no no; 4) they put small impossible-​to-​take off labels on your clothes. This aggravates me; imagine if all dry cleaners did this, are you supposed to have your clothes plastered with bar codes?

Horrible experience. I recently went here for the first time. Before even agreeing to leave my clothes, I asked the short Ethiopian lady (I know this because I speak Amharic) that works at the counter if I could have my 5 items out by the next day. She said, «Let me check» and returned to say they could! Great, I left the 5 items.
So, I returned the next day after 5pm and the same lady says 3 of the items are ready, but asked if I could come back in 30 minutes for the rest. Keep in mind, I live 10 – 15 minutes on the other side of 395. I waste time in the area… I return, she nowsays they won’t be ready until the next day. The manager or owner sees my frustration and attempts to apologize, saying he can have it done by the following morning. I return the following day (now 2 days later) around 1pm, 4 pieces are ready (3 cardigans and 1 pair of jeans) and other pair of jeans are not there/​ready. How does this work? I have no clue! We took the 4 items that were ready and told them we would come back for the other pair of jeans. So… here I am with 4 items of clothing. Let’s hope the other item is accounted for. The final agreement was for them to call me when the last pair of jeans are ready. Will update you all what happens:-/. DEFINITELY LOST MY JEANS… STILL HAVE NOT BEEN COMPENSATED! We are now what 2 – 3 wks out…
Pants were definitely lost! They reimbursed me for ¹⁄₃ the actual value smh And beware they have now changed their name to ENVIRO CLEANERS.

This place is great. Fast, affordable, and green.

False advertising. Big color posters on the outside of the building say that EVERYTHING is $ 2.49 (one price for all garments). Yet when I took my dress in, it was going to be $ 4 or $ 4.50? I asked about it, asking why the posters said EVERYTHING, and the lady explained the $ 2.49 price is for skirts and ties. HUH? Having a closet full of skirts and ties as «everything» would be a chilly wardrobe for the summer.
I don’t like supporting businesses who do bait and switch advertising. Took my dress back and will go to my normal dry cleaners who DO offer one price for everything.

I really like Green Eco cleaners — and I still go there, even though I move further away! They are friendly and do a good job. The pricing is fair and it is a clean facility.
Barcodes: Hooray for not having plastic or staples through my clothes — and no tags to remove! Also that code it unique to you and they scan one and they have your information. They serve the same purpose every time you come back.

Great! They gave me the discounts and cleaned my clothes well.

Clothes seem clean but I noticed a new snag in one of my sweaters and they put these barcode stickers on all the clothing labels that won’t come off. Almost broke a nail trying so I just gave up. Not going back…

I gave this place two tries before I made this review, but they don’t clean clothes very well. My clothes looked like they haven’t been cleaned at all. This place is cheap, but I’d rather pay more for my clothes to be cleaned rather than handed right back to me when they still look dirty.
Don’t take your wedding dress here. I had a destination wedding and when they returned my gown there was still sand all over my hem. I didn’t have a trash the dress session by the way.

Reasonable price. Good job.

This is a great place for getting your dry cleaning done fast and for a great price!
Suits are $ 6 and just the jacket is $ 3. There are places in Arlington that charge over $ 10 for a suit.
For same day cleaning they may charge $ 1 extra but since I was a new customer and brought it in early (before 9 a.m. I think) they waived that fee.
Will definitely come back very soon!
PS: In regards to the first post: Yes, they state on a sign that when using your credit card the minimum balance is $ 25.
And also, parking for me was not a problem at all! They had plenty of parking right in front of the door!

Green Eco Cleaners opened a few months ago and is super close to my house. The location is a bit odd– it’s right behind the 7 – 11 on 2^nd St South– and the parking lot requires some car dexterity… the spots are narrow and hard to pull in to when the lot has several commercial vans and staff cars, plus areas you can’t park b/​c handicapped-​only or van-​only.
As for the cleaning part, Green Eco Cleaners does a fine job. They can do same-​day service, are friendly, and I haven’t had any problems with their services. Now, I do NOT appreciate that credit cards can’t be used for anything less than $ 25– ten dollar restriction I get, but $ 25 forces me to go to the ATM before picking up a couple of my husband’s shirts… or just procrastinate dry cleaning altogether. DEFINITELY need to change that policy; even the staff has noted customers complain about it but the owner refuses to budge. Hmmm…
So, good dry cleaners, affordable, convenient 5 stars
