One of the worst locations for a Grandys. The staff is RUDE and complain about the customers once they leave the counter. The place is so nasty you feel like you need a shower when you leave. The food is so gross it needs to be shut down. I used to love Grandys but if they are all like the cooper street location they all need to be shut down.

If your in a hurry dont go through the drive-thru…the person working was extremely rude and took 15 minutes to get 2 orders of french toast sticks, 1 sauage biscuit, 2 coffees and an orange juice. …not cool.

Asked for a lunch menu item after 11 and was told«we’re only serving breakfast». I’m not eating your nasty buffet that had obviously been sitting out all morning with no heat lamps. It’s not my fault y’all made too much food. This is why you don’t deserve 15 dollars a hour, lazy ass. Lost my whole family’s business. Furious.

Growing up, I thought IHOP was pancakes and Denny’s was an inferior IHOP. I had friends who swore by Waffle House as more affordable comfort food, but somehow Grandy’s never came up as part of the discussion. I made my very first visit to Grandy’s a few days back, then, after someone mentioned that they had a breakfast buffet. Breakfast… buffet? Sold. Double-sold. So sold. This Grandy’s has been here forever, and it isn’t much to look at from the outside. On the inside it’s «lived in,» but you don’t mind as soon as you’re greeted super warmly at the counter. There are plenty of meal options on the menu, but my wife and I were here for the buffet. Pros, then: — That buffet price is right. For what you’d pay for a single meal at IHOP, you get unlimited access to plenty of chicken fried steak, scrambled eggs, French toast, chilled peaches, sausage… you get the idea! — We ordered a side of green beans and were immediately warned that they come cooked with bacon. We still got them, but definitely appreciated the advance notice. — The food doesn’t hold anything back, and fresh portions come out seemingly every few minutes. I didn’t love everything I tried, but I did get seconds and thirds on a few things. — The staff were great. Someone was always checking the coffee and checking the food or cleaning or coming around and asking if the food was alright. Cons: — The food is heavy, and definitely heavy on the starches. I know we would have appreciated more vegetables and healthier options, and more variety in general. — A couple breakfast standbys were noticeably absent, or not in rotation that day. I would have loved some hash browns! Other favorites were there, but… not really well-represented. We both thought the biscuits were uncommonly hard and flat. We’re not itching to go back to Grandy’s, but we didn’t have a bad time at all.

Had their breakfast buffet. I think prison food is less greasy and smelly.
