Removed some moles for me quickly and painlessly with no scaring! A real expert that can quickly tell me if something is dangerous or not. And a really nice guy!

Get a second opinion. I went to Dr. Glenn Fuchs over a two year period, because I had some small bumps on my face. Each time I saw him, he froze them off, and that lasted for several months. He told me they were nothing to worry about, and so I went to see him every 6 months and he froze them off. They kept coming back. He also told me that I had a mole on my leg which needed to be removed because it could be cancer. I went to my internist and he stated it was nothing to worry about. I became suspicious about Dr. Glenn Fuchs and decided to go to Johns Hopkins for a second opinion. At Hopkins the Dermatologist told me that it was not a mole, just a small bump-nothing for me to be concerned about. However, he did a biopsy on the bumps on my face. That turned out to be Squamous Cell cancer. If you are seeing Dr. Glen Fuchs-my recommendation is Get a Second Opinion!

Dr Glenn will have you in and out of his office in a New York minute, a skill he undoubtedly picked up in New York at New York University(BS, MD). After years in practice, he knows what he is looking at and what to do about it. If surgery cannot be avoided, he will finish it before you know what happened, and the results will look better than you could hope for. His patient load speaks for itself. Staff are friendly and supportive.

Dr. Fuchs is very thorough, professional, and caring. I have no idea how anyone could ever complain about him. He has identified and removed two malignant melanomas from me, pretty much saving my life. Can’t speak highly enough of him and his office.
I moved to Virginia about a year ago and was referred to Dr. Fuchs by a friend who has been to his office a few times. He has treated me for some acne issues and I’ve also gotten botox from him a few times on my forehead. I’ve had acne for a long time and its amazingly frustrating to still have it as an adult. Dr. Fuchs has been great in offering me a few alternatives and kind of setting my expectations on what a given treatment will do and how long it will take to actually work… When I moved here from NY I was worried I would have trouble finding a good doc, but despite it sometimes taking a little while to get an appointment, so far I’ve been really happy with him.

I would say that my appointments with Dr. Fuchs were very rushed. The biggest issue is that he misdiagnosed my problem. Just by looking at my skin and without doing any tests, he concluded that I had psoriasis. When I went to a different dermatologist, that doctor did a biopsy and found that it’s definitely not psoriasis. His diagnosis was eczema.

Dr. Fuchs is a no-nonsense Doctor… he’s very knowledgeable and busier than heck because he knows what he’s doing. He’s not going to spend a ½ hour talking with you about dog grooming tips. Perhaps one needs to be a bit assertive and explain exactly why you’re there(re: Kelly T’s review). If he were less popular, he’s probably be able to spend lots of time playing twenty questions with patients like Kelly T. So, if you want results and can articulate your issues clearly, then Dr. Fuchs is an excellent choice. If you’re a shy patient and feel embarrassed discussing issues with your doctor and expect the doctor to coax your issues out of you or aren’t exactly sure why you made the appointment in the first place, then go elsewhere.

I waited 3 months to get an appointment for a general skin check. Upon arriving, the waiting room was full and I had to stand and wait. The nurse finally called me back to the exam room. She asked why I was there and I said for a general check. She left and said the doctor would be in to see me. Dr. Fuchs came into the exam room. He asked what was wrong. I mentioned a few moles on my upper leg, back and one on my face. He was annoyed that the upper leg was not readily available to exam. I was thrown a cover at me and he said he would be right back. He glanced at them and said no issues. I then mentioned the one on my face had been removed in the past and lab results confirmed it was a basal cell. He said, «Oh, then you need to get it removed.» Needless to say, I left and didn’t make a follow up. I felt like I was in a factory, had to tell him what the mole was and the staff was less than courteous when I just asked to pay the bill directly and didn’t make a follow up appointment. I am faired skinned and have burned many times, I have been to many doctors and this is the first time I felt that I truly just saw a doctor who didn’t care.
