* Rolf Structural Integration promotes lasting improvement in posture, balance, range of motion, breathing, overall relaxation, and contact with one’s feelings.

The Rolfer uses manual pressure to help you let go of tensions and rigidities in the connective tissue which pervades your body, wrapping every muscle and bone.

For those recovering from chronic musculoskeletal pain, injury or surgery, Rolfing will rapidly restore alignment, flexibility and circulation to scar tissue and joints.

Rolfing can also increase one’s ability to feel emotions and energy in the body. In the process negative feelings stored from past experiences are often released, and this can accelerate progress in psychotherapy or meditation training.

Any physical practice that involves balance and range of motion — dance, tai chi, yoga, running — can benefit from enhanced flexibility of the connective tissue and improved stability of stance and gait.
