Never freakin open! They apparently have no set schedule as to when they are open. It’s just on their whim.

Food is really good. The ribs and chopped beef are consistently good. Now you have to try the sides. Most places sides are just okay, but their sides are full of flavor. The greens and green beans are really good. I love restaurants with sweet tea and they have several flavors but my favorite is the strawberry tea. The one thing i don’t like is that you can know the closing time. They close when they run out. Not convenient for those who want to come after work and buy a large amount of food to take home. They used to have regular hours. So i no longer try to go after work since i never know if they are open or not.

Can’t comment on the food as I never got a chance to try it… They are never open. I understand they close early but they never have a set time. I have tried several times to get there, but they are always closed when I go. How can you make any money if you are never open?!?

I heard they were really good but I guess I will never get to experience them. I’m giving up on them… I’ve been on three different occasion the first time it was Monday and I found out they were closed, my fault cool. The second time I went I had bad timing they were already closed, my fault again, so I looked up what time they closed and it said 8pm cool now I know to get there early. The last time I went I got off work on time at 5pm so I was like good its early we can make before they closed. When I got there its like maybe 545pm and no one is around so im like what the hell its early and I really wanted to try them out. So now back to the drawing board what am I going to eat… As I sit in the parking lot trying to Unilocal different places, a man that works at Crossroads walks out so I ask him what time do yall close he said 5pm. OMG… So just FYI they close at 5pm and not 8pm which is stated on their business hours.

Went here for lunch with co-workers and it was great. I had the pulled pork sandwich and fries priced reasonably less than $ 10. The pork had a great smoked flavor and the BBQ was very good. The french fries had a unique and very tasty seasoning on them. One co-worker got the hush puppies and let us try them. They were a little spicy, but not favorite. The buttered grilled bun on the sandwich was a great touch.

This is a great place to visit. Kim, one of the servers, is outstanding. Her service and care will make your visit all the more great. We had the monster burger. The sausage was great. The brisket was tender, a little dry, but delicious. I must note that some brisket is drier than others. This one was good. In fact, I ate the first third of my sandwich without adding BBQ sauce. This should give you an understanding how well this meat was seasoned! The buttermilk pie is just as good as the kind I had growing up. In other words, go to this place and have yourself an enjoyable meal. Two thumbs up!

Took my family to eat on our first meal of Spring Break vacation. We love BBQ and this place was right what we were looking for. The brisket was some of the best, if not the best I’ve ever tasted. Will definitely be back as much as possible!!!

Stopped in for lunch with my little ones. The kid menu is very sad. I had the green monster sandwich which is brisket and sausage. Brisket was most and yummy the sausage was spicy and yummy. Sides need to be fresher as well.

This place is less than a mile from AT&T Stadium and the Ballpark in Arlington and should not be missed by anyone making a trip to either place. The staff is friendly and this is some of the best brisket I have ever had at an extremely reasonable price. I stopped in here on a trip to Dallas after touring AT&T Stadium after having it recommended to me by no less than 3 people working at the stadium; it did not disappoint. The beef brisket sandwich is a can’t miss and should be paired with the staple of any great BBQ place; the Mac and Cheese. Don’t pass up the jar of peppered pickles on the condiment stand either. The brisket is incredibly juicy and can be enjoyed with or with out Eddie Deen’s amazing BBQ sauce. The fries are pretty good as well. The seasoning isn’t nearly as strong as you would expect by looking at them, it’s a rather nice complement to the flavor. This place has great BBQ at a great price. I can’t wait for an excuse to get back to Texas so I can get back.

Wow! Coming to Texas for the week, I knew I needed to get som BBQ. This joint was recommended to me by the hotel and it was AMAZING! I got a brisket platter with mac n’ cheese and hush puppies. It was a whole lot of food! I’m so full! The brisket had burnt ends that were crispy and delicious! The mac n’ cheese was phenomenal! It was rich and creamy! The hush puppies were so good too! They had warm bbq sauce to get along with various pickled veggies(okra, red onions, cucumbers, and more). The seating area was great too! They had long tables to sit with friends and next to people you don’t know! I thought it was a great touch and provided a community experience! When I come back to TX I will be coming back here!

Not understanding how this place has good reviews. The food was not good at all. Our family had ribs, brisket, catfish & fries. We didn’t even finish our meal. The service from the owner was just plain weird and was way too familiar. The tables were dirty and many of them had weird little back spots on them… Leave it to your imagination.

Took my family about two weeks ago. Still mad about my experience. Food was awful. Let the buyer beware! I used Unilocal reviews to come here & I was duped! Don’t make the same mistake I made.

Solid. Excellent brisket. Loved the pickle selection. Too much garlic in the green beans. Pedestrian atmosphere.

Ok now I’m giving them 3 stars. This is not a bad thing. It was good BBQ that you will be happy with. It was not wonderful and it was not bad. It was good. We had the sliced brisket sandwiches and they were good. I thought a little pricy but they were tasty. Now the pickles were another story. They were great. Unusual pickles; the standard cucumber but also onion, okra, and a mixed veggie. I really enjoyed them. I’ll be back for the pickles and I guess I’ll have some BBQ to go with them.

Still the best BBQ joint in Arlington. Brisket has always been tender, moist, and well seasoned, with just the right amount of smoke. Not the best in Texas, but standing tall above everyone else in the area.

I’m not from Texas but I have been living there Monday through Friday the last 25 weeks. All I hear about is how I’ve just got to try some Texas brisket. Well I’ve been looking and I’ve been trying and honestly Texas I’m not really impressed… That is until last week when I stopped in for lunch at Eddie Deens. All I can say is wow! Give a slow clap and a tip of the cap. Well done. The brisket and chicken are amazing here. If there is more brisket like this in Texas please point me to it! Walk up, order food, grab your drink, then make your way over to one of the best pickle bars you’ll ever run across. Don’t fill up too much on pickles though because the portions are big. This location is open from 11am to 4pm everyday. It’s great for lunch but warning it can get crazy busy. Overall an enthusiastic five stars and a definite recommendation.

My new favorite BBQ spot. Wanted BBQ but did not want to drive far. Read the reviews and said why not. I real wanted a baked potato but they had already ran out. Couldn’t decide on brisket or sausage. Guy at the counter suggested the 2 meat plate so I went along with it. As we waited for our meals we checked out the pickle station. Great selection of pickles especially the bread and butter ones. The brisket was delicious and so was the sausage and I almost forgot the bread. Love that this place is so close to home and great food. Service was also very good!

Really good BBQ! My wife and I shared the 4 meat combo. I thought the brisket and pulled pork was excellent. The ribs were good, and the chicken was a little dry. Their collard greens were excellent! The beans were really good and the green beans were ok. All around good joint. The people were nice and the service was quick.

..Eddie Deen Crossroads SmokeHouse. Pleasantly surprised! Points: Atmosphere: open, simple, walls more on the bare side Service: you order thru a line and then you’ll have a person bring your meal to you. On this visit, she forgot my brothers fries. But was eventually corrected. Overall service friendly, courteous FOOD: quite good. I ordered the brisket(tender, flavorful), sausage(one of the best of had in awhile). I didn’t feel the need to add bbq sauce(maybe a tiny bit). Sides: Mac n cheese(it’s was alright/good, kind of reminded me of school lunch Mac n cheese) and their green beans(really good,) End Result: Would defiantly go back!!! Note: they also have huge jars of various pickled items(pickles, jalapeños, okra)
