The place was half empty! Such low stock that it looked like they were going out of business. The health and fitness was a major disappointment. They lacked items like treadmills, elliptical machines, exercise bikes, free standing weight bags. They only had 2 weight benches and 2 smith machine copies. Fishing was sad, ball shelves were not faced or tidy. Signage was extremely poor. Only football gear, golf, clothing and shoes were well stocked. This was a huge let down from the early 2000’s when they had it all! Looking forward to Scheels coming soon. For now, I will visit sports authority and sometimes academy.

So if you’re looking to spend around twice as much as you’d spend elsewhere, than this is your store. If you’re looking to be treated like you’ve got leprosy by underaged and uninformed salespeople, than this is your store. I couldn’t believe the prices and I couldn’t believe the attitude coming off the employees.

You get the worst service here. You can never find anyone to help you. The prices are outrages as well. The only good thing about shopping here is the check is fast because they have very customers. They lock the dressing rooms then there is no one around to unlock them so you can try stuff on. Your better off going to the outlet malls or Academy.

Too pricey! Even clearance was outrageous. You ring a bell to get the try on room opened, which took too dam long for a thursday afternooon and pretty empty store. I was unimpressed with the customer service. We interacted with 5 different employees and only one was friendly and helpful. We asked one guy if they have __________and he said yeah, its usually hanging on the wall somewhere and points around the huge ass room, as he saunters away. douche The one helpful gal helped us find them(she also didnt know where they were and had to ask some other unfriendly guy). Cashiers did not greet us. Step up, the friendly, Dicks! I usually love Dicks. These Dicks sucked though.

Just had the worst customer service experience in the shoe department at Dick’s Sporting Goods. A young man named Jonathan used sarcasm in his attempt to «help» me with my shoe selection. When I asked for a different salesperson, I was given the shoe department manager, essentially. She helped me somewhat, but was not courteous or friendly. The whole time she was , Jonathan was standing behind her making faces at me and smirking!!! Needless to say, I was ready to get out of there. The only saving grace of the entire store was the completely friendly and helpful greeter at the entrance(a nice lady with long blonde hair) who promised to pass my concerns to my manager. I normally don’t write poor reviews like this, but this staff needs to be trained in customer service.
