If I could give the company 0 stars I would because unfortunately after us calling and emailing for them to come out and give us a quote, a gentleman called and said he would possibly come out that evening to take a look but would call back at 5. Not only did he not show up(we were aware it was just a possibility) he never even called. Unfortunately they lost out on about a 4k job because of it.

I’m giving this company a three star review, because at the end of the day — they finally fixed what was wrong. Allow me to explain. I called to have this company come out to replace an aging fence that had partially fallen down due to the weather. They quickly came out and quoted the work. After recieving a few more quotes, we opted to go ahead and have the work done. Now I was originally told that the work would take two days, but when I got home that evening — I was approached by the foreman, and told that they were finishing that night. This seemed a bit odd to me — even using quick dry, that it would all the sudden be a day job — not a two day job. They finished after dark, and left. When I finally had a chance to fully survey the yard, I now understand what a «rushed» job looks like. The issues were many — Fence line was off almost a foot on one side, leaving my sprinkler in my neighbors yard(even though they were given a survey), there were substatial gaps under the fence — in some cases 4″-5″, nails and other metal were left all over my yard, hardware was missing from support posts, garbage was left all over my yard — inluding a nasty spit cup on my window sill, split pickets and exposed nails. I have a one year old. Anyone who has had a child knows kiddos that age will inevitably find any, and everything they can — and it goes right in their mouth. Had my son found any of the nails/metal that littered my yard — in his foot or in his mouth, it could have ended very badly. I had to go out and buy a magnet from Lowes, to do a metal sweep myself, so he could actually play in his own yard. When I had a full list, I spoke with Mr. Hill(owner) and explained the issues. He said he would have his foreman come take a look. After a few emails, I finally got a hold of his foreman, and he mentioned to me that they would change the line on the fence, and install the hardware. He also said that if I wanted the large gaps under the fence to be addressed, that should have been done before the fence went up. I explained to him that the logical assumption as the home owner, would be for the quoted fence to match the fence being replaced. The previous fence had no gaps underneath — why does the new one? The plain and simple answer to this is one word: Laziness. Laziness was a theme repeated mulitple times throughout my experience. Mr. Hill was gracious enough to agree to fix all of the issues. The crew came back out to fix the issues, but once again after a walk through — there were still huge chunks of concrete all over my yard, garbage, metal, Exposed support caps, missing hardware, exposed nails, etc. etc. I had to get on Mr. Hill and his foreman several more times, to make sure that the job was finally completed. At the end of the day, Mr. Hill did the right thing in making sure the issues were taken care of(hence the 3 stars). He could have saved himself the headache, the time and added cost of having his crew come out three additional times, had the foreman actually done what he was supposed to do — and make sure the job was done right the first time. Had he done that, he would have gotten a glowing review, and several referrals from me. We live in an area whose average house age predicates fence replacement, and soon. Sadly, he did not — so any indication of who did the fence(Including the plates they stapled to the fence) have all been removed. My advise would be that the cheapest quote doesnt necessarily mean the best quote. If you decide to use Diamond fence, make sure the work is done to your satisfaction before they leave your property.
