If you want a simple, homestyle breakfast for not a lot of money, this is the place to go. Food is significantly better than Au Bön Pain next door and the woman who usually takes orders is very sweet and pleasant.

I love this place. I get a vegetarian bi bim bap and a side of kimchi every week, and it is always yummy and fresh. They must have made some adjustments based on poor reviews. I have also had breakfast, which is good and better priced than most of the other places in the«tunnels».

I really wish I could say more about this place because the lady running it seemed so sweet and grateful for my business. I ordered the chicken teriyaki(I had been craving it for a while) when I got home I opened up the box and it looked good. The rice was good but that’s about as far as it went. The chicken was really bad. I don’t know if it was old and she heated it up or what but it was super dark brown and had a weird texture, not to mention the taste was off. Ever since I ate it my stomach has hurt and I feel ill in general. I will not be going back to this place.

I’m visiting from out of town and was hungry for lunch when I passed this place. Stopped in and ordered a Ruben. The place is cozy with some tables and chairs, fountain drink station and a cooler for bottled drinks. My per came out pretty quickly and looked done to perfection. It was tasty especially for less than 7 dollars. It is s nice place and I would visit again.

Sadly I have to agree with some of the negative reviews. I had a craving for Korean today and thought I’d give this place a try — having walked past here dozens of times and seeing their bulgogi and bibimbap specials listed by the door. I ordered the bulgogi to-go. Service: The older lady behind the counter was extremely nice and packed up my food/chopsticks quickly. The food: the taste was really off, almost had a beef jerky taste and the meat was really dry and chewy. There were also large chunks of carrots and broccoli. I ended up tossing most of this meal — disappointing :/I realize this is a deli and not a Korean restaurant, so my expectations weren’t super high. I won’t be returning.

Came in here a couple days ago and ordered the Bul Dak bowl. I spent almost $ 10 for a drink and the meal itself. The food was delicious, plentiful, and it definitely has a kick to it. If you don’t mind spending a couple extra bucks, check this place out.

I will never go back to this place because: Price: $ 10 for lunch is usually a good price, but not here for the food you get. Food: Horrible! I ordered the bulgogi, and it was a joke. I don’t think a Korean person would serve that to customers, and I have a lot of experience eating homemade Korean food made by Korean women who have been cooking for decades. The meat was overcooked and tasted like salty chicken broth. The vegetables were practically inedible. The kimchi was disgusting and not at all fresh(yes, I know it is fermented). Service: Slow, and I was the only customer. The cashier spent a minute or so chatting with a friend before helping me. The cashier was friendly but took her time serving me my food. Facilities: The place looked clean and had plenty of room for diners.

I feel bad for this deli. I have walked past this one too many times thinking I should really give them a shot but they are in the boring halls of the Crystal City Shops and never busy so I normally continue on to my original destination. Recently I noticed a sign showing 2 Pancakes, 2 Eggs, 2 Bacon/sausage/ham for $ 5 so I decided to give them a try. My Pancakes and Bacon were perfect and fresh tasting and my eggs were mostly good(a little oily). I also ordered a Hot Coffee and grabbed a Banana bringing my total to about $ 7. Well worth the price. I was disappointed to see there was only 1 review when I checked in and it was a negative one. Luckily, my experience was fairly good so I’ve come back a couple of times. I normally will hesitate to review a spot that I didn’t completely love or hate. But I feel pretty safe to say that I’ll visit them occasionally for breakfast at least. I’d hate to see a business fail based solely on its poor location so this is my attempt at helping them get noticed by the Crystal City Unilocalers.

I go here because it’s convenient since I live right above it. I would say that the quality of food isn’t the best but they’re at least somewhat tasty. Their bibimbap did not use the fresh ingredients as you would find in restaurants BUTBUTBUT!!! the egg is cooked perfectly and they use a real egg. I’ve seen some korean restaurants use those scrambled eggs that are cut up in square pieces around and that’s always a let down. Their bul dak bowl was not bad. Good chicken and flavor. Nice spiciness to it. Not the best, but it’ll work if you have a korean itch you want to stratch for cheap.

I ordered Bibimbap. They use canned mushrooms, zucchini, ground beef and iceberg lettuce along with some of the more typical bibimbap vegetables(I’d list those but I don’t actually know what some of them are). For me it was just all wrong and I ended throwing almost half away. My cube mate had the teriyaki chicken. He said it was«ok, but it’s hard to mess up teriyaki chicken». Maybe their deli offerings(sandwiches) are better.
