Great place for the kids to play. Basketball court and if your in the mood for a BBQ, you can do that too.

I live near this park and walk here every so often. Depending on what you use it for it can be a great park or a run of the mill facility. I use their grill and picnic tables and they are always clean and usable. They have two full court basketball courts and seems to be used pretty consistently for for pickup games. There is lots of open grass near the road which has, for better or worse, been occupied as a dog park. Having lived near it for two years I still have no idea how the lighting here works at night. Sometimes the lights are on at a certain time and then tomorrow they won’t be on at the same time. Even on the same day lights can be on and then go off for a minute and flicker back on for a while.

GOTOTHISPARKIFYOURKIDLOVESAIRPLANES. The planes literally fly right over head on their landing path, and pretty darn low too. Otherwise, Nothing too spectacular about this park. It’s a good park for the«little guys» lots of low equipment and best of all a slide in the sandbox, so they can slide down on their own and you don’t have to catch them, the bottom of slide goes all the way to the ground, into the sand. The«fenced in» playground is NOT at all completely fenced in. There are some basketball hoops, and a great looking hiking path called«The Palisades Trail», someone at the park said it’s got great views, and you can see the eagles nests. It must not be too hard of a trail as I saw a guy take his kid in an umbrella stroller on it. It seemed a bit«buggy» towards the end of our visit there, and it was a windy day, so I imagine on a less windy day it probably gets quite buggy, especially being right on the edge of the woods.
