Daireds Salon and Spa Pangea

Absolutely love this place. I have been going here for 3 years now. I have never had a bad experience. I have had the hair treatment, Swedish message, facial, body scrub, prenatal message, river rock message, aromatherapy message, manicure and pedicure and I have loved every treatment. The river rock message is my favorite so far. During pregnancy they were extremely attentive to any worries I had. The entire staff is always nice and welcoming. I have called same day to schedule something and they have always tried to fit me in. I even enjoy the hot green tea they serve. I recommend getting the membership, to go once a month to this lovely spa is wonderful. Best anniversary gift ever. I recommend this place to everyone I know.

I have been going to Daireds for over 10years. I have always been taken great care of. I love the membership they offer & take full advantage of it, lol. I would recommend it to anyone!!! My favorite services are body scrub & polish or a river rock massage. My hair stylist is wonderful. From washing my hair, scalp massage & always a beautiful cut. Simply amazing you can’t go wrong here

This place is very big and pretty and expensive. I can’t really say there is any value here. 2 stars for a beautiful herbs garden patio, which go check it out if you go here.
It seems dead empty unless it’s the weekend, probably because the prices are the highest in the metroplex. I’ve had a massage and facial and it was a lot of fluff with little real work.
The salon is pretty nice here and it does have a café. The only thing is, if you don’t know your hairdresser, it can be a real miss! I’ve paid $ 100 to have my hair done here and it wasn’t at all what I wanted. This also just happened to my best friend last month, in which I told her so.
The problem is it is so structured that it takes away from the personal experience. You go to get your hair done and your stylist doesn’t wash your hair, some teenager does it :/​. Then you wait for them to finish with whoever else they are doing at the same time as you? Thanks you just made a client feel like an everyday chump. They aren’t that good to warrant that type of assembly line treatment.
Same thing in the spa. Its like management does not want you to get to know the therapist or aestheticians. A lady brings you tea and has you change into a robe, and puts you in a room. Then the professional slips in to do your service and slips out. Just a little sterile for my taste. I think they’re trying to sell «Daireds“over giving you the personal touch that creates life long customers.
I prefer give my money to an individual stylist or therapist that I can form a relationship with. How else can they get to know your likes and dislikes? The don’t give you the time or opportunity for that here, and it seems that’s how most of the employees prefer it.
I go here to buy some products, but I’m trying to find a place I can get them at a more reasonable price.
I normally don’t like to write this low of a review because I understand it’s someone’s business, but I don’t like the cold feeling I get here.

I have been coming here for years for massages, facials and for the Med Spa. Never had a bad experience. Christa in the Med Spa is the best. I trust her to be conservative in her approach to assure natural end results.

Went in on a Sunday and for a place that’s big on appointments they only had 1 stylist for 2 women getting they’re hair colored. Had different people washing and blow drying my hair and I couldn’t tell because of the lighting but when I got home I realized my roots were a totally different color than the rest of my hair. So happy I paid $ 125 to have my hair ruined before a wedding. And for a mom this was supposed to be «me» time, and now I’m mad I even went in.

I was sent to Daireds today for a massage as a birthday gift. I wasn’t quite sure what I was walking into since it had been years since I had been anywhere for a massage. The entire experience was absolutely amazing. Hope was phenomenal! She was blessed with the hands of an angel! I will definitely be back!

I recently started using Molly here and I really like her! She’s very sweet and knows hair! She doesn’t try to pressure you into doing what she thinks you should do! Give her a try, you will love her too!

Chelsey was my stylist. Absolutely loved her! Wish this salon was in my hometown Orlando.

This is the second time I have been to Daireds, and I am so pleased with my experiences here. Both times I have had my hair done by Chelsey and I will continue to do so. She is the sweetest! She listened to what I wanted and delivered it. She is attentive and professional. I live in Burleson, and I will keep driving to Arlington to get my hair done by her. Once you find a stylist you like, you keep them! I haven’t been to the spa here, so I cannot comment on that. The atmosphere here is very nice and relaxing. I highly recommend Daireds, and especially Chelsey.

This place is pretty big and they offer a ton of services. I came for a aromatherapy massage and enjoyed it. I prefer a spa that has more amenities– such as a steam room, hot and cool baths, dry sauna etc. If I visit a spa I like to make a day out of it. Here you pretty much get your service and then go. There is a small waiting room you can relax in afterwards but that’s it. They do offer a monthly service where you pay a discounted fee and get a service a month– think massage envy but high end.

This is a review of the spa services — the spa area is very spacious and relaxing. I was offered water or tea several times during my services. I had a manicure and pedicure, both of which were good. The pedicure came with wine, which was a nice treat.
I particularly loved my massage. I had the spa massage (25 minutes) and it was exceptional. My therapist was Faith, who I would highly recommend. Faith was extremely knowledgeable about massage therapy and was able to apply different techniques to target my upper back pain. She used aromatherapy as well. It was an extremely comprehensive, effective massage, especially given that it was only 25 minutes. I will definitely go back in the future and will request to work with Faith.

I came here for a mani pedi and hair color/​cut. Everyone was very polite and attentive.

This place was wonderful! I first must admit I am not normally a spa type of girl, the places always intimidate me a bit. But Daired’s was warm and welcoming the second I stepped through the doors.
I talked the hubby, with much feet dragging, into coming with me for the Unilocal event. A glass of wine and a chair massage in, we were both having a fantastic night! That massage was magic, I almost fell asleep in the chair.
The real cherry on the cake though was getting taken on a tour of the place. Shown all the rooms, explained what each was for, how they worked, the process. It took out the intimidation of it so that only the «I want to try that!!» remained. The atmosphere is tranquility and plushness at its best. I love the little garden they have outback which would be perfect in the spring to sit and relax in with the tulips all blooming while in a fluffy robe, drink in hand. My husband seemed fascinated, all the more so when she said they do have a growing male clientele, they love the guys brave enough to come in. Then he was shown the couples massage room, where you can both go to get one done at once. Hubby actually said, «we should get that done!» He went from naysayer to spa convert in one night! I am all for that.
Clean, professional, and very welcoming. Highly recommended.

First Unilocal event of 2015, and it was wonderful! We had a wonderful time at Daireds! WE had massages from Destiny, and will be back for more! She alone is worth making the trip for! Easily one of the top 5 masseuses in DFW. Her Deep Tissue is a special treat.
We also enjoyed the deli complete with a charcuterie and edemame with hummus.
The tour of this building was incredible. It’s absolutely huge! Spa services were designed for men and women. Massages, reflexology, facials, medical treatments such as Botox, and detoxification and purification services are all available.
The first impression was completely 5 STAR, and we will be back!

so walking in my first thoughts are okay, where do i go. okay front desk. oh okay sweet theres kendall.
first station theres the make up which we did not do.
we walk in and notice theres a little kitchen area, since its my first time at a spa i dont know what to expect at all. so a kitchen def wasnt at the top of my mind. then i notice theres dinning area and even a executive chef, okay thats cool! so after i grab my wine i head out to where everyone is and since im super awkward i just kinda sit there hahaha but i thought i dont really know anyone so whats to be embarrassed about! haha.
Manicure time! so we get out bff manicures and the staff doing the work i think my girl was named stacy was super funny! she was kinda gauging us in seeing how friendly of a conversation she could have, well we practically ended the conversation braiding each others hair hahahah.
next we got a tour of the spa Pangaea, i thought okay why Pangaea, this better make sense haha. if you know what Pangaea was. its when the all the continents we have today were one big ass one. so wait i think the lady who gave the tour was named stacy. dang maybe they both were. okay well she said she was the spa attendant. i could probably talk to her for hours you could tell she knew her job in and out and loved every aspect of it. walking around you kinda take an adventure into several different regions, cities, continents. i was very impressed with how everything was laid out and how chic it looked.
after the tour i got my massage and it was great! her name was cameron and she knew her pressure points! i generally dont like people touching me but i felt welcomed and didnt mind with her.
all in all the staff here make the spa experience better, and i might say the experience with the staff is better than the services you were there for.
they also do hair stuff and have an MD on staff for injections, laser, etc. so this is an all inclusive place.
def will be looking to booking something for my parents. its a nice treat!

I had a spa day treat as a birthday surprise from my boyfriend; it was awesome!
I had a Swedish massage, facial, lunch, mani/​pedi, and then a blowout at the salon.
The massage therapist was super sweet and attentive and explained everything to me (never had a massage before). She made me feel very comfortable and the massage was great.
My facial was next and the esthetician was also very helpful in explaining everything to me (again, I’d never had a facial before). She gave me a lot of helpful tips as far as skin care goes and the whole process was great and relaxing. She also gave me a free sample of a product she recommended.
I had lunch from the café in a relaxing little room. The spa attendant went above and beyond. The chicken wrap was great and the chocolate cake is divine — definitely a must-​try!
I was then escorted to get my mani/​pedi. I had a really nice lady who was my nail tech. She helped me pick out colors and gave me nail tips since I had previously had acrylic nails that really took a toll on my natural nails. She also recommended a treatment for my cuticles (mine were kind of bad since I’m constantly washing hands + hand sanitizer at work as a phlebotomist). She wasn’t even pushy about buying their products and recommended some I could buy elsewhere if I wanted, which was nice.
Lastly, I finished my day at the salon where I got a shampoo and blowout. The man who did my hair was very nice and did a pretty good job. The salon was very busy, which in my opinion, is an indication of a good salon.
Overall, it was a fantastic visit. Every single person I came into contact with was super nice and attentive and also very professional. The facilities are very nice and clean and the robes are super comfy. If you’re looking for a relaxing day, look no further than Daired’s; you won’t be disappointed!

Love Daireds been coming here for years. There always quick and knowledgeable about there massages. I’ve only ever had massages but they’re great! The rooms always smell clean and fresh. Will always be coming back here.

Have been several times! LOVE the atmosphere and the set up! Great stylist! Loved having my own room with my manicurist!

I’ve been going to Daired’s on and off for various services for many years. In the past, I swore by their pedicures (still would, but found something closer to home), which really are wonderful (I do recommend). For the last nearly two years I’ve been seeing Molly for my hair, and I’ve never been happier. I started with Molly after what looked like a great cut but was really just a bad cut masked by a great blowout from another salon over near TCU. Turns out the guy at the other place doesn’t know cr*p about layers, and actually cut them angled in the wrong direction, which is why after the blowout I had so much trouble styling!
I got Molly from a daily special (20% off) and haven’t looked back. (She’s on maternity leave right now, so I’m sad.) She does a great job on color and cut alike. Everyone sees the color and stops to comment while I’m still in the chair. She listens to her clients and isn’t judgmental in the slightest. She doesn’t do what she wants, which I think many stylists tend to do out of comfort. In her absence, she’s made a wonderful referral to Whitney. I just had my color and cut updated and it’s looking fantastic.
The spa is pretty nice overall — a separated area for quiet and comfort. I imagine there may be more upscale ones out there, but this is pretty darn good and the people seem to know what they’re doing.

Let me preface this positive review with this:
I went in for teeth whitening, and was not impressed at all. It is definitely not effective and more money than going to the dentist for the good stuff-​it cost $ 200!
Now, the reason for the 5-​star positive review…
While I will never refer anyone to be subject to their inadequate teeth whitening procedure, I will be back for the service and ambiance!
When you walk in, you are in a gift shop area and greeted by the many register employees who are eager to check you in. I never saw anyone waiting beyond their appointment time-​they shuffle people in and out of the first waiting area like little ants! Once it is your turn, a spa rep will come out to escort you to a tranquil waiting area beyond beautiful glass doors. This «secret» area looks like a big maze of doors and hallways leading to massage rooms, etc. I was very early, so a sweet employee offered me a drink while I waited. I observed MANY clients walking in and out in robes and such-​smiling and pleased with whatever service they received. I even witnessed a group have food delivered on a server tray by a waiter within the spa-​I was pretty impressed by that. It would be nice to have a spa day and not have to starve while there.
All in all, I am excited to try some of their other services! I love any place with top-​notch customer service and this place delivers!
