Great BBQ! I had the roundup sandwich with smoked brisket and smoked sausage. Can’t wait to get their catering!

Walked in and immediately smelled cigarette smoke so I was out. To add insult to injury, there was no one at the counter and a kid off in the corner staring at his phone. No one even spoke as I walked out.

Fried okra made my mouth happy, and the chopped beef sandwich was saucy and delicious. Staff was friendly.

Born and raised in Texas. My boyfriend and I always go to a BBQ joint we have never been to before just to try new things but I think we found our hole in the wall place. I didn’t want to go in at first because it looks like a little shack but it was so delicious we couldn’t believe it. The ribs fall right off the bone and the BBQ sauce was wonderful. The fried okra was battered in house and fresh, crunchy and tasty! The fries were hot and crunchy and clearly cut in the back and not from a bag. The green beans are typical green beans but the potato salad was the bomb! The gentlemen who work there were very friendly. The place was a little beat up and the table clothes had some holes but it was very clean. It was clear these people aren’t rolling in doe which is a shame because that place is amazing and you can tell they clearly love to cook. Don’t let the looks fool you or scare you away. It is clean and the food is awesome. Awesome enough for me to leave and say«wow I need to right a review so people know how awesome this place is.»

This is a good BBQ place. The owner cares about his customers and one stop at D2 you will experience that. The Brisket was moist and tender and the Ribs were tender. It may not look like much from the outside, but there is some history there. I go a couple times a month.

I went here yesterday while on vacation in dallas. This was on the way to Monday Night football at the dallas cowboy arena in Arlington, TX. Its just 10 minutes away and ate in the car. they had a special platter with 6BBQ ribs Lousiana style, and two vegs, which I got the onion rings and potatoe salad. the salad was pickled flavored so alot of people might not like it yet I could handle it, and the onion rings were amazing, best I have had. the ribs and bbq sauce was good and fell right off the bone. Would go again if ever going to the cowboy game. Alot of BBQ ribs spots were closed on Monday and close early most days so you really have to go at a good time and call in advance. This was right next door to jack in the box, looked like a hole in the wall from the outside yet clean and nice in the inside as well as the bathrooms which says something.

Eek! Go to Dave’s BBQ! Down the street! This isn’t a review that merits a one… but surely«I’ve experienced better.» In a region that is chock full of BBQ much like potato salad is chock full of potatoes… this is the potato that is slightly distasteful. That was a terrible analogy, but you get my point. Point is: the food here isn’t too great, but it’s moderately priced. It compares price-wise to the other BBQ giants around, but for your money, you’d do best to go elsewhere. If you’re going to eat here, I’d suggest get a little bit of everything because if you get too much of one thing, which I guarantee won’t be tender, you’ll just waste your stomach. A bite of dry brisket here, a piece of doesn’t-fall-off-the-bone rib there, washed down with a nice slice of rubbery turkey… all covered in their oddly sweet BBQ sauce, then you’ll be satisfied. But not pleased.
