This particular restaurant is located on the bottom level of my office building. We frequent Cosi for lunch quite often for the food annnnd admittedly the convenience of not having to leave the building. The staff is consistently friendly and the food is consistently fresh. Occasionally the meal preps are done too fast because my order has been wrong more times than I care to admit. The fantastic thing is that each time this has occurred, corrections are made on the spot and I am given extra incentives to return.(E.g. free drink, free dessert or free entrée) I often order one of the salads or sandwich melts on flatbread, they have several varieties of each. The breads are available in white or multigrain and both are quite delectable. The fact they have a huge open oven where they bake breads and pizzas daily may have something to do with this. Most of their entrees are chicken breast based and reasonably healthy. The great thing about Cosi is that whatever you’re hungry for, you can find it here. Breakfast menu has proven to be just as tasty as the lunch menu. Whether you are looking for a sandwich, salad, bowl or dessert… Look no further because they have it all. Two satisfied thumbs up!

Cosi consistently delivers good food at a reasonable price! I haven’t been to Cosi since I worked in Baltimore and I must say I’ve missed this place. I’ve had just about everything on the menu and have never been disappointed. This visit I thought I’d try something new and I enjoyed the taste two: ½ Shanghai Chicken Salad and ½ BBQ Flatbread Pizza. Both items were nice size portions and full of flavor. The ingredients were fresh and my food was prepared relatively quick. I also had the house lemonade which was pretty good too. Glad Cosi offers the taste two menu options now(not sure how long it’s been) and I can’t wait to come back!

The food was horrible brown lettuce, and my soup suppose to be broccoli and cheese. Was just like water, had to throw and trash. Not to mention it was my lunch break so, I could not return it. Never again, for the price and horrible food!

This place is really BAD! I paid more $ 8 for half Asian Salmon Salad. I waited for about 15 minutes and I only got 3 small pieces of salmon steaks in my bowl. I just tried another cost place on Penn Ave, I got like 8 pieces of salmon steaks. I guess I won’t come here again. Service is slow and food is bad quality.

The Manager Sarah at the Crystal City location was able to place an order for 50 people in a 16 hour time frame and delivered our food in BLIZZARD conditions, on time and even treked through the snow to get our order here herself. The sandwiches and brownies were tasty, I had the Tomato, Basil, Pesto! Thanks you, Cosi!

A typical Cosi. Usually quicker than the nearby Starbucks and carries a better selection of treats. The staff is friendly and helpful. Convenient location in the center of things along Crystal Drive.

I am a regular of Cosi in multiple locations. The service other locations can be excellent. Food is pretty good. But this location — only come if you can stand terrible service. Weekends are even worse than week days. Weekend managers treat customers as a nuisance at best. Sometimes it appears they are closed, but no, they are open. If you can get their attention. Today is Saturday. The on duty manager had the door propped open even though customers complained there was a cold blast of air from the open door. I started to close the door at the request of one neighborhood resident but the manager chided us, told us it had to stay open, because it was too hot, and the cold air was needed to make the dough prove! Whaaaaaat? Dough rises in warm air, not a cold draft. And what good is it if the dough rises but there are no customers. Who is the dough for? We left. Won’t be back anytime soon.

Horrible experience. I went in on a slow Sunday and it took almost 25 minutes to get my food. Staff wasn’t all that friendly either…

I have ordered from Cosi through their new online portal five or six times now. Three of those times, when I have arrived at or slightly after my pickup time, my food has not been ready. Today when I arrived my order didn’t seem to have even been received, despite the fact I had the confirmation in my inbox(and a pending charge on my credit card). In addition to having to wait in a long line just to tell the cashier I had placed an online order, I then had to wait for them to make my meal. Really defeats the purpose of ordering online in the first place. On top of that, the manager seemed completely unconcerned by the fact my order was either not received or simply not ready. Customer service was pretty terrible all around, although I appreciated the cashier monitoring my order while it was being made. The final product was sloppily presented and was incorrect– several ingredients were missing. I didn’t bother staying to have them make it again– I had already invested more time than I had to spend. If not for paying online in advance, I would have just gone somewhere else. Cosi usually has good food, and I have been happy in the past. I’m not sure I will go back to this location. At the very least, I’m not wasting my time with online ordering again. Other reviews suggest wait time and customer service is a problem– I hope they get things in order.

I went to Cosi on 7÷1÷15 missing the Cosi that closed on Capitol Hill last year. The location is great, right in the center of the Crystal City shopping area. It is also very spacious. I have always liked Cosi’s food. My favorite is their tomato soup. I am happy to report that the food at this location is good and didn’t really taste any differences between this location and the former location on Capitol Hill. I can’t give the location higher rating due to service. I had to wait what felt like an unusual amount of time for my order. I arrived at the counter and nobody was there and couldn’t quite figure out where to place my order. I also feel like Cosi has increased their prices significantly from last time I was there. I understand the«cost of living» has increased but the food(although good) at Cosi doesn’t justify its cost to me. I had a sandwich, tomato soup and coffee for around $ 15.00. In a nutshell the food is good and I always find it filling but don’t expect it to be cheap.

The… Slowest… Service… Ever… Waited over twenty minutes for a breakfast wrap and an egg white cup. They forgot the wrap and the egg cup was an incredible microwaved egg something thrown on top of spinach topped with an unmelted slice of cheese. Never going back.

This place has redeemed themselves. I had a terrible experience awhile back where I went there and ordered a pizza to go. There was no one in the place besides me. 25 minutes went by and still no pizza so I go to register and ask about pizza. As I am asking I see the cook put a pizza in the oven. I kindly asked if they were just now making my pizza after 25 minutes of me waiting. They said yes and proceeded to tell me how they had phone orders they had to fill first(likely story right?) Now I have never worked In a restaurant but to me it seems if you have a paying customer present in your store you tend to them first. After 45 minutes I finally got my pizza. I Was never offered a discount for the inconvenience or anything. I have avoided this place due to that experience for a long time but recently went back. Why not give them a second chance… service was good and I’ve been back a few times. I’ll chalk the bad experience up to internal miscommunication.

When done right, the food can be pretty good. Unfortunately, they mess up my order more often then not. I keep going back because I live across the street, but if I get it to go I now have to take it out in front of them to check to make sure they gave me the right order. Kind of awkward, but I’m sick of putting up with their incompetence. As this is a pretty consistent problem with this store, I’m willing to be the manager(s) is just as incompetent as the staff that keeps preparing orders.

Ask them to toast any sandwich — I did it with my TBM — and it made it 10x better! (Plus, free s(ample) bread ftw!)

Great food, friendly people and amazing flavor for a chainstore. Plus you get to watch them hand make the bread right in front of you.

I’m a Cosi fan when theres little else around ! Simple, easy lunch. Had a the pesto chicken sandwich which is my fave and the chicken parmesan which was also really good but a tad bit too salty for me. The service was fast — no complaints. I hated the hibiscus iced tea drink it was HORRIBLE couldn’t even drink it. I’ve had the lemonade which is much better. It’s really hard to find parking at this location. Ended up having to pay for the garage. There’s a nice outdoor seating area for lunch outdoors in the summer.

Based on coffees, breakfast bars and rice bowls this place is great. It’s very convenient that it is located on my walk back from the sports and health gym so great for post work out coffees! The staff are friendly and always bring over your order even if you are taking it out. I have found that soy milk in the US can be very strong and nutty tasting and overly sweet but Cosi’s is subtle and unsweetened. Their mocha is yummy!!! The perfect balance of chocolate and coffee. Their breakfast bars are super nice too or breakfast cookies — I can’t remember what the correct name is but they are at the front counter. Cookies made of oats, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds and honey. Also the rice bowls are huge — it was like 2 meals — the container is deceptive — it looks small but is more like Mary Poppins’ bag. The bbq pork was just delicious!

Wish I could give zero stars. We got there 30 minutes before they closed. As soon as we walked in, the manager told us that we could not eat there but he would make us orders to go. I ordered mac & cheese but they were out. I ordered a sandwich but they only had multi grain bread. I left but my wife, my friend and my mother each ordered something. It was all BAD. My mom hurt her jaw trying to chew the flat bread that came with her wilted salad. I thought she was being melodramatic. I picked up my best friend’s flatbread. When it felt hard, I banged it against the corner of the table(in Noodles and Company since we could not eat in Cosi’s). The bread did not bend or break. The edge of the table was in no way capable of changing anything at all about the bread. So if you need a hammer, use the bread. They substituted multi grain flatbread on a pizza without warning. To cook a portobello mushroom they put it on a plate with cheese on top and put it in the microwave. Worst food experience on vacation ever!

Usual Cosi, good bread and pretty decent sandwiches/salads. Not a fan of their chicken and it seems pre-packaged but otherwise most things are alright. The Korean BBQ pork bowl is better than expected and the basil, tomato, mozzarella(BMT) sandwich is tasty. For some reason, my meal here was served on an actual plate rather than a plastic container as is usual at the downtown DC location. I guess they want to keep it classy in Crystal City? This location can be packed with tourists on the weekends so be warned. We had to dine al fresco as the entire place was reserved for a massive tour group. Fortunately, we finished before the horde arrived.
