I went to this nail salon for the first time today, since it is in front of my son’s school and always looks busy. Well it was a disaster, complete disappointment. I went in for a pedicure, was sat right away, and the nail lady(didn’t catch her name) started working on my toes, seemed like she was in a rush, failed to put cuticle softener on my left toes until I reminded her, she the moved to my right foot and again was rushing. She cut the nails accurately, however, as soon as she placed cuticle softener on my right toes, she began cleaning my big tow, and going straight for the side cuticles, she wrongly pulled the left side cuticle of my right toe and pulled skin along with part of my cuticle, as soon as she began pulling I told her I was in pain and to please stop, she tried again and I told her she was pinching the skin of my toe, and I followed by trying to pull my foot into the water, but she continued pulling, when I gasped for air in complete pain and my toe began bleeding profusely. She immediately grabbed cotton and pressed hard on my toe to try to stop the bleeding but it was to painful, almost to the point of crying. The manager came and applied a blue color liquid, she said it was to prevent infections and stop the bleeding. It is then that the woman who was doing my toes started talking loud in her language, and the manager said that the reason for the bleeding was due to an in-grown nail. Which was untrue, I asked her to show me the in-grown nail and she showed me a large piece of skin, I asked her to give it to me to see and she refused. I took out my phone to take a photo of my toe when the woman doing my toes forced my foot into the water causing more pain and throbbing on my toe.

A lot of people have told me amazing things about this place and I’ve seen great things firsthand. I want to love this place but my second time here(and second time getting my nails done ever) my gel nails lifted after two days. After a week, half of them are gone. Their prices are amazing and they have great art, colors, etc but saving $ 5-$ 15 isn’t worth them lasting less than a week. Also, I called them and told them what happened and they only offered to take them off for free and they would redo them for $ 15. Not impressed.

The nail techs are very talented and they give you exactly what you want. I’m from out of town and I’m going to be a loyal customer.

Worst service ever!!! Went to get a pedicure. Asked the lady to focus on a certain spot when scrubbing my feet. She literally looked up at me, pushed my foot away and started speaking to the lady next to her. Then she began to scrub my feet with an attitude. Will never come here again. That was the icing on the cake. I understand some may do a great job, but just for the simple fact I had to experience that was seriously my deciding factor. If I had paid for the full service after my nails I would’ve gotten up and left. Lessened learned!!!

At Classy Nails, you can pick from a ton of nail designs. Honestly, the name is kind of an oxymoron, because it’s in a tiny, cramped shop in a building that’s been around at least 50 years and looks it. But if you want some serious nail art, this is the place to go. I overlook the shabbiness because they do great, really fun designs. They’re usually busy on a good day and will sometimes hand you a handwritten number. Not a lot of time spent on a luxuries. Nothing really glamorous or classy and they didn’t want to try anything that wasn’t in their design photo books, but the prices are reasonable and the work is good. They offer a lot of cute designs, so I can always find something I like. I don’t do artificial nails, so I have no opinion to offer in that respect.

Once again ladies, I ventured on and around to classy nails. Better attitudes Monday thru Wednesday. This time though I did it before kids and parents got out of work and school on a wednesday. That allowed them to slow down and the quality was close to what they used to put out. Still slightly busy but the waiting chopped in half. Only had to wait 30 minutes for a full set regular(short) which was 16.00, then to paint 8 nails and design 2… just 21.00 total. They have design books that you look in while you wait and the baddest designs you can dream up. If you come up with something that isn’t there, they will freestyle it.

I used to be a patron of Classy Nails ALLTHETIME when I lived in Arlington. Their designs are amazing and their prices are wonderful. But all of those things come at a cost. I got a fungus under my acrylic nails twice from Classy Nails(before I moved), which had never happened in the 6 years I had nails. My mother, who’s had acrylic overlays since I was born(I’m 23), ALSO got a fungus from Classy the last time she went! My cousin too! Needless to say, I stopped going there completely. BUT~! A friend I haven’t seen in a while asked me to go with her to the nail salon and I agreed, since I hadn’t been to Classy in a long time. I thought that maybe they had gotten better at their cleaning and since I recently got rid of my acrylics, I had nothing to worry about, right? The lady doing my pedicure was really sweet, as are most of the techs there, but this place is not sanitary. The tools that she used to remove my cuticles during my mani/pedi had caked-on remains. And it wasn’t just a little bit either. There was so much leftover cuticle from other people that it had hardened into what looked like shards. Yuck!

if you are looking for some off the chain designs. then go to Classy Nails. I dont get manicure’s I only go for pedi’s and I alway get designs and every girl in there can do anything you want. .Its very small and they get very busy on sat, and sun so get there early! The spa pedi is 18 and a full set of designs start at 10 and go up depending on the design.

This is the worst nail salon i have ever been to. The manicurist are not friendly. I was put onto a woman’s table who can do nails as well as I can which is not very good. I don’t see well out of my right eye. The clientele is very trashy. I really never knew this many trashy people were in Arlington. The nails look like square boots on my fingers. There were small children in this closely packed salon who kept being annoying. Either the mothers were being annoying by yelling at them or the children were being annoying. I went back to have one of the nails fixed and one client was wearing bedroom slippers? The manicurist that I had never apologized for doing a poor job? The ring finger nail was caked w/acrylic on the side and lifting up and i told her that my nails tend to lift from the beginning. She took as long as possible to come to fix the nail. when i asked her co-workers who was going to fix the nail the lady said the person who did your nails. My manicurist never acknowledged me. She kept on doing a pedicure. I had to get up and tell her about the problem and she never said anything. I just went and sat in her chair. After she was finished washing the pedicure bowl she SLOWLYSAUNTERED over to her station, again w/o an apology and attempted to fix the nail. I was so disgusted that I left w/o her even filing or polishing the fixed acrylic nail. I came home and filed it and will polish it myself since I take my own polish and topcoat to the salon anyway. Most of the client get long extravagantly decorated nails. Basic manicures are unheard of here. This salon is for a different class of person than myself. If you are someone who likes to wear acrylic nails w/o trimming them down and tight and flashy clothes then this salon is for you, but if you are more of a «Ralph Lauren» person then skip this salon b/c you will not be pleased w/their method and quality of doing business.
