Bistro San Martin

Went here for our wedding anniversary! Food was delicious! A little on the expensive side but great for an occasional celebration!

Always enjoy eating at the Bistro and since it’s local that is also great. Food is very well prepared and tasty, staff is very friendly, and service is timed well. We needed to reserve last minute and Steve called and helped us get earlier reservation which was a big help.

This is an all time favorite. I’ll travel great distances to go here as much as possible. Always amazing and better than other larger metropolitan Steak houses in Seattle or Bellevue. New York Steak is amazing.

I’m a regular and you won’t find better food north of Seattle or Bellevue. The prices are great for the quality you get.

We love love love Bistro San Martin! We frequent there for special occasions and are never disappointed. Service is excellent and restaurant is never overcrowded. You are seated far enough from others to enjoy your dining experience.
We have eaten everything from seafood to chicken. They definitely focus on quality, freshness, and seasonal fare.
A list of our favorites are:
Starters– Dungeness Crab Cakes, Jumbo Prawns, Escargot, & Classic Caesar.
Entrées– Grilled Flat Iron Steak, Roasted Duck, and again the Dungeness Crab Cakes.
Desserts– They vary often but my favorite was an Apple Puff Pastry.
I almost don’t want to review our hidden gem but it is a well deserved 5 stars.

Still my fav. I tried the crab cakes tonight! Superior. Although, my husband had the filet and I was a little jealous… that is still the best choice on the menu in my opinion:). Wonderful staff, service and food. I decided to take dessert home, and I’m sure it’s going to be delicious also.

Excellent!!! Had the crab cakes and they were amazing. Great atmosphere with a small town feel and big flavor. Loved it!

Absolutely excellent service, kind greeting at the door and table. The food was fantastic and presentation wonderful — I recommend the lobster & filet! Well done!!!

We started our meal off with the Gnocchi Ravioli topped with a rich tomato cream sauce. Wonderfully rich and smooth. We then had a side Caesar salad. One of the best Caesar dressing we have ever had. For our Entrée’s we had the Bacon wrapped Filet Mignon and the baked chicken with spinach Gouda stuffing with a honey mustard glaze! All were to die for! Best meal both of us have ever had. We are new to the Arlington area but so glad we found this little gem of a place. As good as anything you can find in the Seattle area! Definitely recommend for special occasions. We will be back!!! Staff very friendly.

Hmm. This tries to be the fancy place in the hood. And the hood should have one. But the food is just so-​so for this kinda place. Get better recipes. Maybe cut down on variety. There are great local suppliers. Use them. I so want this place to be awesome. I had the duck but poorly cooked. Very tough. Find local foods and respect them by making them awesome! I would come every week. As it is I haven’t been back.

Started with a Garlic and Mushroom gravy fresh Crêpe Appetizer, Joel had the duck soup and I had the carrot soup with spices (which was awesome) and then Joel had the Roasted Duck with Yukon Gold mashed potatoes and fresh veggies, (he Loved) I had the Fresh Chilean Sea Bass with Rice Pilaf and fresh veggies, (I loved) we each had… of course a cocktail (or two), and then finished it off with a raspberry sorbet, which was delicious! What a great place! I Highly recommend it! LOVED! Also, they have Excellant Service, and the Ambience was very old school and lovely!

I have been going to the Bistro for years, and have never been disappointed. I was really hoping to win the power ball so I could ask Marten to be my personal chef ;-) the whole team is wonderful with customer service it’s hard not to walk out with a huge grin on my face. A piece of advice I have for the other customers is don’t share a piece of the naughty chocolate cake. You will regret not getting your own, one taste will make you forget about moderation completely. I really love you all

After years of dining at Bistro San Martin, the food just gets better and better. Steve and Martin really know how to «wow» their diners. Consistently great food, cozy ambience, caring staff… They recently added the space next door for additional seating and private parties. We have our regular favorites like the ½ Dozen Escargots (Helix Snails Baked with Garlic Butter and Fresh Herbs) and Calamari, but opted for the Penn Cove Mussels this time. We ordered the Steak and Lobster for our entrees (Grilled 10 oz Flat Iron Steak with local mixed mushroom demi-​glacé and steamed 6 oz Maine Lobster Tail with butter, white wine, garlic, rosemary and toasted almonds served with Yukon Gold Mashed Potatoes and Seasonal Vegetable Medley). For dessert we had the Almond Roca Panna Cotta. If you haven’t dined at Bistro in Arlington, you need to call and make a reservation (they get pretty booked).

We take 30 plus people here from time to time and have really gotten to know the people. This place is warm very friendly and the food is fantastic period. Great place for date night or use the secluded big room and fit a crowd. If you want a great experience and you don’t want to jump a bunch of zip codes to find it get to down town Arlington and visit. Call for reservation but at least try it once. Guarantee you will be back again and again.

Amazing food! Great wine list! The quality and service of this restaurant far exceed the location in the middle of a farm town, but it’s nice not having to drive to woodinville/​bellevue/​seattle for this type of quality.

My wife and I have been coming here for over 3 years and have never had a less than 5 star experience! Steve, Martin, and their team are wonderful! The food is prepared to perfection, the service is warm and welcoming, and the attention to detail in ever aspect of the restaurant is truly amazing!

What an incredible find!
Delicious jumbo prawn appetizer; heirloom tomatoes with burrata and FRESH, perfectly cooked Alaskan Halibut! This isn’t what we expected to find in Arlington, WA. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Highly recommended.

I was very fortunate to find this place while visiting from out of town. A customer took me here and wasn’t sure what to expect. First, the chef. This guy is amazing. All I know is his name is Martin and I assume he came up with the menu. Everything he made from flavor and presentation screamed 5 star.
The roasted tomatoes and mushroom pastries were great appetizers. I ordered the crab cakes for dinner (3 good sized cakes) with some sides. The vegetables weren’t great but the crab cakes were full of flavor and packed with crab meat. The crème brûlée dessert was among the best I’ve had. The service was fantastic. All around top notch meal. I’d be a regular if I lived here.

Wonderful dinner as always, Copper River Salmon is wonderful. Service is always the best, they are a 5 star all the way around.

Probably the last great dining experience in the north Snohomish county area. Don’t waste your time or money anywhere else! Food is always spectacular and service is amazing. Great family owned and operated local business. Long time staff that really cares and knows there stuff! Always a great experience.
