We help people who are moving with packing services, unpacking services, and moving box/​supply deliveries usually within 24 hrs of the order being placed. We service all communities within 60 miles of Boston and we go farther out for packing/​unpacking jobs. We have been in business for 14 years and has the Super Service Award on Angie’s List.

We also offer customers relocation management services, free qualified flattened moving box pickups, estimate & delivery services (where we help you figure out what you need for boxes/​supplies at no added cost), and low-​cost debris-​pickups (for those of you who don’t want to deal with flattening boxes and dealing with all that paper… we do it for you!).

We created the «Estimate & Delivery» where we come into people’s homes, estimate what they need for boxes/​supplies, then deliver them then and there.

History

Established in 1998.

I spent five years (1993 – 1998) as a mover for Gentle Giant. I started Benezra Boxes as a distributor of used moving boxes which, at that time, were usually disposed of. As demand grew rapidly, many players got into the game, which is great because it creates more awareness and saves more trees. Benezra Boxes started selling new boxes at great prices and then would do free, qualified, pickups of those boxes to get more used supply in. Then we started packing and unpacking houses up for people moving because, being a previous mover, I was quite experienced with that kind of thing. I produced a pack video, trained my own packers, and soon we became the packing specialists in the area. Now, Benezra Boxes even offers Relocation Management Services to help people moving by acting as their agent with moving companies, use our network of moving related vendors to help with anything you could imagine related to the moving experience, offer donation deliveries, small hauls, crating, etc.

I started out in advertising after graduating college. After four plus years of that i decided I needed something a little less stressful. So, I tried to write a novel and paid my bills being a mover. Oddly enough, I really enjoyed the moving industry and became friends with many of my co-​workers. I liked helping people during times of stress and like the guys I work with. It’s very rewarding to be the «hero» when you do things for people that they can’t do for themselves. I find a good sense of humor goes a long way in this business. I have a dog, Woofy, that goes to work with me whenever it’s feasible. He’s watered many clients bushes over the years but he’s damn cute and one day I’ll figure out a way to monetize the bastard. As for now, the jury is still out on whether he’s good PR or not… but I love him. Other than that, I try to golf, fish, bowl, and play tennis. I am married to a very, very, patient nurse!
