I’ve had two great massages from both Ruby and Desiree! Great location and staff. They really were able to work out the knots in my neck and shoulder. I’d highly recommend them!

Update: I’m glad I gave Azure Dream another chance. I’m very happy with the results I get when I visit. Leila is the most talented electrologist I know. Also, front desk customer service has improved.

Fantastic. I had a facial and massage, and recommend both. Details: I had the 45 min «magic fix» facial, including microdermabrasion and the organic lemon peel. The whole treatment smelled yummy and felt fabulous. (While the dermabrasion and blackhead extraction are necessarily a little uncomfortable, they weren’t painful, and I’ve had no adverse reactions to them.) I then got an hour long deep tissue massage. I like a masseuse who really gets in there and works on the knots, and she did, effectively and still so smoothly that I fell asleep (just a little). I’m not a local, but I’ll definitely be back when I’m in town again. (And for additional context, Azure Dream has worked with my mother and sister, too. We’re very different, in terms of our preferences and skin types. All of us have loved our experiences.)

Very nice atmosphere. I’ve been twice for facials. Prices are a little high but not surprising for the area. I’ve had better facials for better prices but not in this area.

Bikini wax with Laila. Not great at all. It was a somewhat uncomfortable interaction, in terms of clarifying what was to be done. Not argumentative exactly, but not pleasant. And she had me take off my pants while she was still in the room which I just don’t like. Very underwhelmed with what she actually did for me, and then she charged the max price in the range stated on their website. Seemed to me like she did the minimum amount of service, as fast as possible, like she was trying to rush me out the door and get the next person in. I really don’t understand how that justified charging the highest price in that service’s price range.
I’ve had massages here before and they are fine (although a prenatal massage was mediocre) but will definitely not go back for waxing.
There was no place on the credit card slip to leave a tip. If there had been, I would have left something, just because I always feel compelled to leave at least something. But honestly, I didn’t feel inclined to make the effort to walk back and tip in cash. That may be the first time I’ve ever not tipped.

Thank you Jenna! The deep tissue massage was what I needed and more. I called to make an appointment with Azure because I had a gift certificate I wanted to use before it expired. I made the appointment a few weeks before and had my massage on a Monday.
Massage Monday started out rainy and gloomy, I would pull into a spot near the Five Guys and pay my meter until 6PM… I paused for a moment thinking can I get some five guys before… then I thought,“no no no self control.” Also I didn’t want to reek of fry smell and instead popped a piece of gum.
I hurried into Azure and was greeted happily by the receptionist, she offered me tea, and then shortly after I met Jenna.
Jenna is everything that embodies the perfect masseuse, her soft hands… her tranquil voice… her soft hands… her tranquil voice… her soft hands…
I laid down for a deep tissue massage and awoke to a feeling of happiness and sadness. Sadness because the hour was over.
I swear 1-​hour massages are just never enough! I was left wanting more!!! More massage time!!!
If the parking was more convenient and the location closer to me I would totally come back more often!

My husband got me a certificate and I decided to treat myself with organic facial and exfoliating body spa for 45 minutes each. It was amazing! Leila and Farah are wonderful aestheticians, both are sweet and friendly. I forgot to mention that I’m pregnant when I booked the appointment, but when I did so during the visit, Leila was understanding and made me lay on my side instead of a belly and the experience was still great. The massage during both treatments was so good, I feel like a new person. Also, another positive thing is that they don’t cut your time short, I was pleased that both treatments lasted for exactly 45 mins (some places like to steal 5 – 10 mins which ruins the whole experience). As in most cases, I was recommended several face products during my facial. I don’t like to be pushed to buy something, but Farah was considerate and didn’t insist on that.
Overall, I had a great time and would highly recommend you to treat yourself with a nice facial and spa in Azure, because you deserve it :)

I don’t have anything glowing to say about Azure Dream Day Spa. I’ve had experiences ranging from uneventful to awful over 6 visits spanning 2014, 2015, and 2016.
The visit in 2014 was for a lackluster facial; it wasn’t great and it wasn’t awful. I go elsewhere for my facials.
My other 5 visits were for a pre-​paid small area laser hair removal package. My 6^th and final visit occurred today when I was attempting to use the last visit of the package. During this visit, the laser kept malfunctioning and the employees were unable to complete the treatment.
During the appointment, my lower half was undressed (it was a bikini laser) and the employees kept walking in and out of the room while they attempted to fix the machine, exposing my fully undressed nether region to the waiting room and hallway. The employees were not only inconsiderate of my preference for modesty when they opened the door, they were dismissive when I tried to cover up. UNACCEPTABLE!!! (and certainly not pampering or luxurious.)
To top it all off, the dry razor technique Leila uses before treatment makes my skin bloody, raw, and uncomfortable for a full week after a treatment. I shave thoroughly before any laser appointment and there is absolutely no reason to dry razor. No other hair laser treatment provider has ever done that to me during a service.
I will not be returning to Azure Dream Day Spa to use the last treatment of my pre-​paid package or for any other service. Leila can keep my money for the unused final treatment.
I can’t recommend strongly enough to STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!

Highlights: Calming atmosphere, friendly staff, clean, great services/​products, and most importantly I’ve been noticing amazing RESULTS!
So I started getting my bikini area lasered with Leila a while back and it had worked so great that I started doing the rest of my body. My body hair had been driving me insane before I started laser. It’s been the greatest investment I’ve made since I no longer have to worry about shaving or waxing. The treatment itself is not too painful and Leila is very kind/​gentle throughout the session. I highly recommend laser as it’s saved me so much time and money!
I recently started getting magic fix facials with Farah and all I can say is WOW. Farah is so sweet and makes you feel very comfortable. This was my second time with her and I can already notice a difference in my skin. Can’t wait for my next appointment!

I was shopping for spas in Arlington way back in 2011 and accidentally entered Azure Day Spa in Clarendon area, and after that, there was no looking back. I got addicted to the spa and never looked back.
I started with microderms and facials in this spa, which is always the best that I ever had. I know Laila, the owner from 2011 and she is very professional, thorough in her job and a lovely and genuine person. In 2013, I got introduced to the laser removal process, starting with underarms and upper lip, but gradually moved to legs, arms and bikini area when I started getting optimal results. You do not know how happy I am with the results of their laser removal process.
Along with Laser removal, I also tried Electrolysis for my eyebrows, on Laila’s suggestion. My eyebrows were bushy and shapeless and the waxing did not help much in my case. Being a dedicated customer for Electrolysis in the last 2 years, my rate of growth of hair has tremendously reduced and the eyebrows look pretty shapely.
I cannot express my gratitude on how satisfied I am with Laila, her staff and the products that she uses. I highly recommend this spa.

the WORST service ever! staff seem disinterested in their job. The owner, laila would try to rip you off. she charged me more than the listed price on their website. she claimed that my skin tone was not «white enough» and thus she has to charge me more. She has no customer skill manners. be aware… i wont return to this place ever again

Quality laser hair removal treatment. But, bring your receipt, if you bought a package deal, so you can be sure you get what you paid for. They «cleaned up their records» in the past year or two, and they may no longer have your remaining sessions on file.

There is no way I can explain how incredible Azure Dream Day Spa is! I found out about Azure Dream during the summer of 2011 and fell in love with them from the very first time.
I was in love with the laser removal process and the results, since my skin was extremely sensitive from waxing. I have had bikini and underarm hair removal with them, with amazing results. The process was virtually painless, and my skin was extremely smooth after each session. With every session, I had less and less hair growing back. Leila, the amazing and incredibly sweet owner of the Spa, was the person taking care of my Laser sessions. She is truly an expert, knowledgeable and skilled in what she does.
I had a horrible scar in the middle of my nose from a dog bite. I visited a couple of dermatologists, and was not happy about their recommendations. I called Leila, and asked her about microdermabrasion, since I knew it was helpful for superficial scars. Although she told me about the new Sublative treatment, I took an appointment first thing the next morning for a Magic Fix Session with Farah. I had never had any form of facial treatment, and I am glad that it was with Farah. She was gentle and incredibly attentive during the whole session. I felt extremely relaxed after my Magic Fix session, and my skin was left feeling clean and fresh! Farah also gave me an extra massage that was out of this world!
A few days later, I was back for my first Sublative session. Although I was warned that there may be some pain, it was very short lived, and totally worth it. My horrible scar was barely visible with makeup on after this session. I had Leila for my second session… have I mentioned how incredible Leila is? She makes you feel welcome, and like you are part of the family every time you visit her Spa. Needless to say, my scar is barely visible without makeup after three sessions of Sublative.
I cannot express my gratitude for the whole Azure Dream Day Spa staff, and recommend them to every person I can. I have only had amazing experiences every single time that I have been there. Leila, and her whole hand picked staff, are the best people to trust your body to.

Jenna Jaffee is the best masseuse I’ve ever had. Bar none. She’s fantastic as finding the tight spots, working through them gently but firmly. She has relaxing treatments and is a lovely person. I highly recommend her

I’ve had three laser sessions here with optimal results! I’ve always had my procedures done by Leila and she has always been friendly, accommodating and professional, letting me know what would happen during the procedure and in making sure that I was comfortable throughout the entire experience. The spa has a beautiful, clean and peaceful ambiance… every time I’ve been to the spa everything has been superb, from scheduling to the customer service, can’t recommend it enough!

After reading other reviews, apparently I went to this place for the wrong thing. However, it’s worth mentioning that this was the worst eyebrow threading treatment I’ve ever received. Not only did it cost three times as much as other places (I’m used to paying $ 10-​$ 12 for threading whereas here it was a whopping $ 30), but it took forever and my eyebrows were poorly done. They did not match, the aesthetician switched to tweezing at some point, and she cut into the ‘body’ of my brows with scissors when she was trimming my longer eyebrow hairs. Even if this place does well in other areas, I won’t be back as they should really not offer a service unless they have a capable employee.

I looked through Unilocal and saw that there were many spas. I called around to speak to someone in person. When I called Azure they were so friendly and warm right away. I knew this was the place I wanted to go. I did a back facial, 90 min massage and 90 minute facial. Each treatment was magical and turns out they use the same products I use called Eminence!!! They also surprised me and bought me lunch. I was so impressed. I highly recommend that you go to this spa because you are guaranteed to walk out like a zombie as I did. :)

This place is the greatest–
I have absurdly sensitive skin, and had tried a new sunscreen that had left a huge cystic blemish on my cheek. I tried for over a week to defeat it at home with DIY methods, but it simply would not go away.
Finally, I broke and decided to shell out the cash and asked around for recommendations, as my local esthetician (also awesome) was booked up for the following 2 weeks. My coworker suggested this place, as she has been going for years and has always had good experiences there. I called in on Thursday and was able to be seen first thing Saturday morning.
I saw Farah and she was absolutely WONDERFUL, and quite possibly a sorceress, because she was able to calm my rosacea, clear up my blackheads, and most importantly, kill the giant cystic zit that had taken up residence in the middle of my face. It has been 2 days and my skin is still positively gleaming. She managed to do this and a microdermabrasion without turning my skin red– in fact, it’s less red than it normally is, which is impressive in and of itself.
They are a wee bit pricey, but honestly, if you have troubled skin, it is well worth it. She didn’t try to push products or sell me anything, but did give me some samples to try out.
If you have sensitive or troubled skin, I highly recommend checking them out for a custom facial. It is the best cosmetic decision I have made in years and I’ve been getting compliments left and right since leaving the spa.

Came for a Swedish massage and had a Groupon deal. I am usually skeptical with Groupons for spas and other skin care services and nails. but this place was awesome.
Easy scheduling via phone, the waiting area was really nice and clean. The spa had a nice relaxing scent. Was quickly greeted and did not feel like customer service was lacking because I had a Groupon.
My massage therapist was Allison, she was great very professional. Asked about my areas of concern and where she should focus if any. I told her my shoulders were a bit more of a concern and she did a great job releasing all the tension and stress around my neck and shoulders. The massage was perfect.
The bed was so comfy and warm and the music was excellent.

My background: This was my first real facial by an esthetician (I’ve had a massage before where they also massaged my face). My life focuses around sports, fitness, and healthy nutrition, and I am not too aware on facial care (simple Korean-​brand or organic-​branded cleanser + moisturizer routine). Never wear makeup. East Asian/​Hawaiian-​local skin (light-​skinned in winter in Washington, DC; darker olive when I am in Hawaii).
Experience: I received a facial as a gift certificate. I am not very familiar w spas or any type of typical relaxing treatment (my idea of a relaxing day is swimming in the ocean or riding a century, or 100-​mile bicycle ride).
Rezvan had a very soothing nature about her and soft voice, very appropriate for the setting. I felt she took very good care of me as a n00bie into this facial care world. She asked if I had ever heard of microdermabrasion (which I had, but wasn’t too familiar w it), and then suggested I try it as an add-​on. So I did for my first time! =)
Now all my life, I’ve become accustomed to people commenting on how clear & evenly toned my skin is (I wasn’t even sure what that was supposed to mean), so I doubted that this facial thing would make much of a difference. Microdermabrasion isn’t the most pleasant experience ever but my skin does look relaxed (or maybe that’s just how I’m feeling!), clearer, and softer than ever. The blackhead removal wasn’t exactly pleasant either, but again, my nose does look clearer than ever.
When I asked her about what is the most popular treatment, she responded that it was the «Magic Fix» which was mostly what I had gotten done today in addition to a facial peel. I told her that a «peel» sounds scary… but she explained to me that they do not use chemical peels, but rather organic peels which won’t cause your skin to «peel» but will have the same intended effect. That sounded much better to me, and perhaps I will try it one day. (She recommended that I not try it today since I have not regularly used facial sunscreen).
One thing that I am confident and well-​educated in is ingredients of products, and their product line seemed to have a lot of good, naturally sourced ingredients (vs several chemical additives).
I’ve been living in this area for several years now and always walked past Azure wondering what they are. Their staff who I interacted with (Rezvan and the Asian front desk miss) were both very pleasant and informative. The front/​check-​in area was pleasant as well (tea & cookies offered in an aromatherapy environment). I would certainly come back to patronize and recommend this business.
