AutoNation Ford Arlington

I made my third purchase from a AutoNation Ford this past Tuesday evening. I have bought from AutoNation Ford on Bryant Irving, AutoNation Ford South Fort Worth, and now AutoNation Ford Arlington. So I guess you can say I have been making my way down the highway. My first two purchases were new vehicles. This time I decided to purchase a used vehicle for a change.
I worked with Jake Andrews and really enjoyed talking business with him. He was not pushy with me or my wife and was understanding to any concerns I had and got me answers for my questions. Also, Jake and AutoNation went above and beyond to look in to a couple issues I had with the car I was looking at purchasing, and they made them right.
I came pre-​approved from my own credit union and provided the paperwork to the Finance Manager (Sorry his name slipped my mind). He was able to follow up with my credit union and completed the financial process quickly for me.
I can truly say every time I have purchased through AutoNation it has been a painless experience for me and thats what brings me back. I know in any business you can not please everyone, but I always urge my friends and family to at least give these folks a shot when their in the market for a new/​used ride.

I have previously used this dealership for the maintenance on my 2014 Ford Fusion with no problems. However today’s (¹²⁄₁₂) service and attitude eradicated all of my previous experiences. From the time I entered the service department, I felt like «who let you in and why». I needed an oil change and rotation and a previous check engine light researched. I didn’t think that I needed the engine code reviewed as the light had gone off but after speaking to Grand Prairie Ford they said to still have it looked at as the computer system would still retain the code and I am close to my 36K mileage. I knew that the service would take a long time and brought in a book to wait.
I have a maintenance warranty through MPP and was told by the woman working the service desk after being there for over an hour that they were closed and I would have to pay for the oil change. That sounded so strange to me as I brought my car in previously on Saturday’s (even later than the current time of 11:45) and never had this issue. The woman became IRATE that I would challenge this assertion of them being closed. I called GPF and asked them and the service rep provided the phone number and stated that she had just gotten off the phone with them 5 minutes previously and that they did not close until 3PM. I took down the number for a live rep and the automated service they could use if this location actually sold MPP warranties.
I returned to the counter and stated that I called GPF and got the number and they had just gotten off the phone with them. She proceeded to get defensive and say «who is THEY». I also said that she provided this automated number that can be used if they sold the warranty. Again she huffed «we dont sell them» and tried to call them again. As I am watching I am saying to my self «why is she punching in all these numbers». At this point, i am finished as I don’t stay places where I am treated in such a manner and asked that they just pull my car so I can go. She has someone pull the car around and then I proceed to call MPP myself from my cell phone. I was talking to a live rep within 30 seconds after selecting options #1 and #2.
But it doesn’t stop there… I then proceed to talk to the service manager who also had the demeanor of «WTF does she want» written all over his face. He proceeds to call MPP in the same manner that I did and immediately gets a rep on the phone to confirm coverage. Then this *** wants me to wait an additional 1 – 1.5 hours for an oil change. I just left. I will now take my car back to GPF for service. Their service reps tried to assist me with getting my service completed at ANOTHER Ford place whereas the people at AutoNation treated me like I dared to cross their threshold and expect quality service and respect.

Richard Evans made my car buying experience easy and hassle free. In addition, he provided the best service, kept me up to date with what was happening every second made me felt cared for every step of the way. Thank you Richard! You’re doing God’s work good sir!

Update on Autonation Ford Arlington. 4 calls to the general manager per the request of Autonation and haven’t talked to a person yet. I did get thru on a separate line to the Service Manager «LB» who listened and acted as though my issues made sense, promised to get some more details and call me «right back.» 3 days later and no call.
This place is huge and they act like it. Customer care isn’t in their vocabulary. Even trying to resolve dissatisfied customers, they continue to increase that dissatisfaction.
Stay away, far away from these guys. I wont be back to buy any more vehicles and certainly wont be back to get my vehicles serviced.

If you want to be led on and make an appointment with someone who will not be here for a truck that he said was in stock and wasn’t then that s should be your first stop! The bad reviews are correct!!! Said made a meeting with me at 11 today and was not here. He was at the fair! The. The truck I came to test drive was not even here! Complete waste of time! Do not come here!

BEWARE!!! Do not take your car here for servicing. I had a bad experience elsewhere and decided the dealership was the place to get the job done right. I’ve never been so wrong. We took our Ford Fushion in for a routine oil change/​tire rotation. We picked it up and they had slammed the door so hard into something that it shifted the door position preventing it from closing correctly. Instead of admitting responsibly they blamed us for the problem. Stating that the car was in a wreck previously. We refused to accept there false accusations and had them pay for the collision repair. However, even @ the Ford collision center they accused us of breaking the door. Like we were some kind of fraudsters. At the collision center I noticed the previous mechanic left his oil rag on the engine.
Just wanted my oil changed heres what I got:
Broken body damaged door
No car for a week
Accusations of defrauding AN Ford
Low confidence that an oil change even happened.
This isn’t our first run in with incompetence @ this dealership but it will be our last.

I bought 2014 ford fussion last friday night. I drove the vehicle twice, I decided not to keep the car and I went back on Monday to turn the car back. They won’t accept the car, the said I put 500 miles on it. (and I just drove it to work and to the mall, which is 10 min from home). I noticed the put Less miles ON THE CONTRACT! And the sellers Kwon s what the real miles on the vehicle. .
They make me wait 4 hours yesterday for an answer.. (I never have one)
They said if I don’t pick the car they will put that on my credit. Morris Rogers is the general manager there ! He’s very rude person to me. he told me he’s not taking the car because I have an issues on my brain! !! That’s very rude!!!
I have to take the car … seems like I have no choice… (they never show me what’s the real miles it’s on the car when I bought it.) and they have a policy where you can take the car on 3 day whit less that 150 miles on it if you are not satisfied whit it…
They just don’t care about it. and I need someone to help me cause they abuse on me.
Now I have to paid on something I DON’T LIKE. AND THEY NOT ANSWER MY PHONE CALLS ANYMORE..

The worst service department I’ve ever seen. Took my 2014 F150 Limited in for its second oil change and paid for the «Works» package which includes Oil & Filter, Check All Fluids, Tire Rotation and Pressure Check, Brake Inspection. I watched the whole service from the service window and what I got was an Oil and Filter change and my vehicle backed out the door. I paid for service I did not receive, the tires never got rotated, and my other fluids never got checked. You can also tell how professional a dealer is by how they protect your vehicle, no protective coverings were used on my seats or floor and not used on any other customer’s vehicle either. This is totally a Management issue for not training their staff to do the job right and take pride in their work. If you can’t do a basic oil change right, why would I trust you for anything else? I won’t be back.

Very good experience for buying a car. The agent is nice and the price is attractive.

Welcome to Texas! We enjoyed an overwhelmingly great experience at AutoNation Ford in Arlington.
My girlfriend recently relocated from Illinois to Texas, due to her job. Not long after her arrival, she realized she needed to retire her 14 year old vehicle. We went to AutoNation Ford in Arlington not really knowing what she was going to do. «Jake (from State Farm)» Andrews was the salesman that took very good care of her.
At first, she thought about getting a newer used vehicle. Jake gave her a lot of options to consider. She ended up driving out in a new 2015 Ford Escape. The story doesn’t end just yet. While there, a Ford Explorer Sport caught my eye. Jake got me a deal I couldn’t refuse. Guess who was opening up those twin turbochargers on his return drive home to Chicago? Imagine that!!! Hahaha
Jake spent a lot of time with us, making sure we were very happy with our new Fords and the great deals he put together. We were both very happy dealing with him. He was very personable, not anything like the slick car salesman one might stereotypically think about.
If you are looking for a new Ford, or any used vehicle, do yourself a favor and go to AutoNation Ford in Arlington and ask for Jake Andrews. This guy is 5 Stars… he treats people right!

I am updating my review because my GPS was found. I was told a worker had took it out of my truck and wasnt sure what to do with it after almost a week. Therefore, I apologize for calling Autonation workers a thief. I was contacted for my complaint from one of their Head Managers for the poor customer service I received. I was offered a $ 100 car detail. I declined to take it. I’d simply rather take my business elsewhere. I deal directly with Ford now and I love it. I was also informed that the Business Office at Autonation paperwork was wrong. The interest rate was corrected at FORD Finance brought the vehicle cost down $ 5000. I am now happy with my purchase. I cancelled all extras i had added with Autonation and signed up with Ford. I am now Happy.

Excellent car buying experience! Bought a new Mustang from Clarence who was very knowledgeable and helpful. They offered me a fair price for my trade in, had the vehicle I wanted for a great price and even beat the financing APR that I had already had lined up with my bank.
Even after the purchase I noticed that one of the windows leaked due to a factory production fault. The service department was helpful and even set me up with a loaner at no cost to me while they fixed the leak, tinted the windows and finished it all off with a wash. I would highly suggest buying a new Ford from them to anyone looking to buy.

Just bought a 2015 Mustang and could not be happier with the service I recurved from José at Autonation Ford. Very helpful and knowledgeable with every question I had… Plus had no long waiting times trying to talk price… Everything was straight forward and professional… Thanks again

An appointment with Dean in the used car team was made mid-​day on Friday through the ANF Customer Relations team. Time was set to be between 9 and 9:30 Saturday morning (the next day). I had seen a new on-​line posting that day for a high end used car they had taken in trade and I was very interested in it. The trip to ANF from my home is about 85 miles so it’s a good drive. We arrived about 9:05 and after waiting a few minutes for the Sales Team to complete their team meeting, I met Dean and inquired about the car. He stated that he wasn’t sure where the car was and went into another office to discuss it with the sales manager. After about 15 minutes he returned and told me the car was moved on Friday to another AN dealer and was sold.
I didn’t receive a phone call, nor an email that the car had been sold. A general attitude we received from Sales team was not really being surprised that the car was moved and they didn’t know about it. Moving $ 70K in inventory would seem to make someone’s radar in that team. It sure seem that the classic left and right hands at AN have no clue on what was going on here.
My family and I own six automobiles and I’ve bought and sold a dozen or so cars here in Texas. Needless to say, this was a very disappointing first impression and the worst experience I’ve had with a Used Car team!

Okay went by on a hope that I could get a new key made for a car that I bought from another dealer.
Tim, Service Manager, told me he wasn’t sure if any if the keys they had in stock would work, but he was willing to see if they would program. I told him I had to be out and on the road in about 1 hour. He said no problem.
Not only was I back on the road in an hour, but I had a new programmed key and my car was clean and vacuumed.
Great dealer, great service, great all around.

I’ve purchased 3 cars from AutoNation and this last experience was the worst experience I’ve ever had when purchasing a car. Salesperson Angel G. has no knowledge of cars or customer service skills. So disappointed in AutoNation. (wasn’t going to post but Angel G send me an email so I figured I should warn others)

I recently purchased a used Ford Edge from AutoNation. After a horrible experience at another dealership in the area earlier that day, my husband and I really appreciated the low pressure/​high customer support from our salesman, Mike Glass. He even drove with us to the Burleson location to find the vehicle I ultimately purchased. Great financing through Ford Motor Company, fair trade in offer and helpful financing guy. The only thing that was a slight downside was there was a long wait to sign paperwork as there were a lot of people who had purchased a car that day.
Overall, am very happy with my purchase and my experience and would highly recommend!

I’ve been back a couple more times now trying to get my pre-​owned Kia to stop pulling right.
It took well over an hour for someone to get around to speaking to me about the problem. He pulled the old records and just said they looked fine to him, so he rotated the tires and claimed that it drive straight as an arrow now.
No surprise, it doesn’t. The next day it was still pulling right. I don’t know whether this is an existing problem for Optimas or whether the shop here just can’t get a clue, but I’ve come out of here with a car that pulls every time I’ve left so far. I’m debating whether it’s worth going in a fourth time so that they can «fix» it again.
The work was done free of charge and the guys in the shop are usually very friendly and they seem like they really want to take care of you, but at the end of the day, my car still doesn’t even drive in a straight line.
I may just have to save my money and pay T&T Brake to actually fix it instead of Bankston just giving me the car back with the same issues I brought it in with,
