Arby’s

Hey we are reading about Arby’s, right? Why do people think they are writing reviews about the Copa Cabana Club?

I think this Arby’s is now closed. And for good reason. All of the other negative reviews for this place were justified. The manager and staff really seemed to hate life and the fact that they have to deal with other human beings on a regular basis. I love Arby’s but this one gave the others a very bad name. I sincerely hope that they reopen an Arby’s in this location, but aim to get people that realize that the food service industry is one of customer service and quality food.

The owner or manager should not be in a business where customers are involved. He sits pouting in the corner of the store. Once you approach the counter he never ever welcomes you or acts friendly. The food is average Arby’s but I have had better. He is a miser when it comes to condiments. I asked for 2 ketchup 2 BBQ and 2 horseradish. He literally threw them at my tray. He should undergo psychiatric counseling. You get a single napkin. With all the other choices in the food court you would think he would make a effort to be friendly.

I hesitate to write this, at the risk of contributing (no matter how minuscule the risk) to the demise of this Arby’s location. I like Arby’s, I like being able to walk to one at lunch. But the quality here just isn’t very good. The wait can be long if there are more than 2 customers in line. The bread is a bit dry. If the manager is there, he is very stingy with condiments. Even with a giant roast beef, you’ll have to beg for more than 1 packet of sauce. The mall itself is no great draw (although there are plans to renovate). I just wish this Arby’s was a little more cognizant of customers’ expectations.

This Arby’s is not good. I ordered 8 regular roast beefs when I visited. It took them longer than usual to make the sandwiches and when I got home, they weren’t nearly as good as the sandwiches I get at other Arby’s locations. They also charge an extra $ 0.50 or $ 0.75 for ranch sauce which I’ve never heard of before.
Notable flaws with the sandwiches:
Dry bread — usually Arby’s has moist buns
Not enough roast beef — each regular roast beef had as much meat as should be in a jr roast beef
Roast beef lacked flavor — I’ve been to at least 10 other Arby’s and nothing as bad as this
Pros: Did not get my order wrong albeit having subpar ingredients and assembly, correctly charged me, convenient mall location, did not give me food poisoning
I will not be returning here. The one in falls church, though much less convenient, is worth the trip if you’re craving Arby’s.

I used to go there for lunch and enjoyed the every Wednesday «freebie» promotional there along with my discount coupons… but not anymore. I tried recently to get the wednesday promotion and the manager said they are no longer participating in the promotional. I also tried to use a discount coupon and he tried to give me a lesser value sandwich that didn’t look anything like the picture on the coupon. I eat at that food court a couple times a week and can see why this ARBYS doesn’t do much business compared to mcdonalds, chic-​fellet ect… their customer service is terrible. They act like they don’t want your business.

Roast beef was kind of dry. Skimped out on the curly fries (that should be a felony or something). Downstairs in the Ballston Mall food court. Has a «Ferris Bueller’s Day Off» vibe to the place.

This Arby’s is situated inside the Ballston Common Mall, downstairs in the food court. The ambience is what you would expect from a food court — not particularly pleasant. The Ballston Common Mall is no architectural masterpiece… no waterfalls or anything awesome like that :)
The service was nice. The quality and flavor of my sandwiches were average. Everyone has eaten Arby’s before, and this is nothing special. So unless you have a craving for it, I recommend trying some place new…
