Horrible place to bring your family. Waitress was gone most of the time. Didnt refill my sweet tea… said they dumped out the tea already and it wasnt closing time yet. Steak was over cooked and burnt on the outside and chewy. I will never come back to this location. I prefer the one in mansfield despite a further drive but worth it.

First visit to this Applebee’s we were skeptical about coming since the reviews were bad but we were hungry! We were very very surprised out waitress Kristi was fantastic super friendly ! Most of our party ordered steaks and appetizers, our food came out it was delicious who ever the cook was they need to keep! Gave it four stars because there was no hostess and when she came to greet us she didn’t look to happy!

Well what can I say it’s Applebee’s it’s decent food at a decent price. I love there shrimp linguini butt I found out they no longer give you breadsticks with it even though it’s still shown on the menu it’s 1.99 extra our service was ok the only problem was the waiter took his time brining everything he forgot our drinks and took his time to bring the check. Hmm

I ordered a pick up through the phone and was told it would be ready in 30 mins. Parked at the pick up area and no one attended so we went inside. Interior was disgusting. There were spills on the floor, tables were dirty, and it smelt like wet dog. We entered and there were 3 servers sitting at the table counting money. They greeted us 5 mins after and said«we’ll be right with you» so we stood at the front door awkwardly. They continued to count and I didn’t know how long it would take so I just told them that we were here for a pick up and stood at the bar to wait. The only one that seems to be serving everyone was the waitress at the bar. She took our card to pay for the pick up, ran to the table at the side for their order, made a drink, and gave us our receipt but the food was not ready. Props to her for single handedly serving 8+ customers while 3 of the servers struggled to count bills. Received the food, went home, and it was extremely dry. We ordered the classic burger and the new brew pub philly. Both dry and bland. Will not be back. At least not at this location.

Rough start to this visit. When i walked in there were a number of employees gathered at a back table in the bar area. Just hanging out chatting and having a good time. I sat myself at the bar only to have several minutes to be acknowledged. The bartender looked a bit overwhelmed. When he finally spoke to me. I found out he was a fairly new employee and new in the bar area. He turned out to be super friendly and really tried his best to accommodate. The end of the visit was much more pleasant then the beginning, thankfully.

First of all, being starving near midnight was not pleasant but going to a restaurant around this time was a mistake. The employees were probably tired, didn’t want to be there, or they just don’t care about customer service in general, including the cooks. We don’t know. All we know is we did not have a good experience and we felt like we were served leftover food that was just tossed on the plate like it was about to be thrown out. It was too late to gather some energy to argue/complain and we didn’t want extra liquid germs in our food… if you know what I mean. The fries were stale like they’ve been there for a day and refried, the appetizer(potatoes twist?) was extra twisted and a little burnt but thankfully the queso was decent, the rib was a bit cold and it was served to me with hand wipes on top of the rib(still in the package, of course, but still gross), the 4-cheese macaroni and chicken tender was gross(the chicken tender tasted like it had been refried in old oil… a little bitter and soggy) and on top of all these, we had to wait almost 5 minutes for utensils. We won’t be coming back. Case closed.

Service: Went here on a Tuesday night and it’s fairly empty with many seats available yet I had to wait 15 minutes for a table for a party of 3. Just like the other Unilocal reviews on here, service is slow. Food: I was quite surprised there wasn’t any complimentary bread for us since most restaurants that I have been to do. Portions are quite small… and food is just average. The 7 oz steak is just very sad and the breadstick that came with the chicken penne tastes like cardboard. Their utensils is not wrapped in cloth but rather with napkins. The waitress was nowhere to be found when we need some napkin. Would not come back and giving this place three stars is me being very generous

Great restaurant with good food & good service. Bar area w/televisions and tv’s throughout the restaurant. I usually have the steak salad, which is superb, and the chips are really good too!

As a former Applebee employee, years and years ago up North, I haven’t really been as a customer that much since being a server. But I got a gift card for Christmas and decided to get some food to-go on my way home from work since it’s the best and easiest thing to do when you in a hurry on the go. As I spent a few minutes on the website to see what we wanted to order, I realized so many things have changed in the past 6 years, food staples on the menu I thought would be there still weren’t on there. Bummer. But I get it times change. But after looking it over and besides maybe me getting the Fiesta Chicken or the Bourbon Street Steak, my only options for me to like was the burgers and appetizers. They always do a good job on those. But for the entrees themselves, nah I’ll pass. To get to the good stuff, I ordered us the Appetizer Sampler, good bang for our buck to share a little of each, the Honey BBQ wings, 4 Mottz sticks, 4 pieces of the Cheese Quesadilla, and Spinach & Artichoke dip with chips, always good in my book of yummy fried goodness! For our meals we ordered The Cowboy Burger, which was great, and my other half ordered the Triple Bacon Burger, and anything with bacon is a friend of his. So I’d say if you want some good drinks, and appetizers and sandwiches, this chain restaurant is pretty good, but for a great dinner meal I’ll keep going somewhere else.

THISPLACEISGROSS. I do not do these lightly. You walk in and the smell is so strong and than you set down and the table looks like it has never been cleaned. We left, not worth getting sick. Just hope they read these and clean up the place.

One of the only places that stays open late in Arlington. This is actually the first time I’ve ever been here in my life, and the other reviews scared me. It actually was a great place. When I first came in the people who brought me to my seat looked tired and weren’t in the mood to help. I can see why considering it was almost midnight, but if it’s their job they should learn to take it seriously. Besides them, my waiter was extremely nice. She gave me and my family a lot of time to figure out what I wanted. The food was also really good. I also got the raspberry lemonade and it was delicious. The medium prepared steaks were pretty great with the A1 sauce & tobasco sauce. I also got chips and salsa and it was just your typical chips and salsa but better. Lastly I got the Caesar Salad and it tasted kinda bland that’s all I have to say but I still enjoyed it. The prices there are kinda expensive, so that’s the only thing I have to complain on. Other than that, I am hoping to come back here soon.

Come here as part of a group every once in a while. One of the few places that open late in Arlington, and actually different from the IHOPs and Denny’s that plague the rest of the metroplex. Good value, and the food is decent enough for us! Good drinks, delicious spinach and artichoke dip, and a nice variety of food to choose from. The service is typically(understandably) slow — on a slow Monday night like I’m here at now, the service is actually on the prompt and courteous side. I saw a few complain of the noise levels… It’s a goddamn bar. That’s all I have to say. –_– $ 5.99 for any burger with fries tonight, along with half-price appetizers after 10:00 pm? This was a good decision to make!

Are you seriously reading a review about Applebee’s? If you really have never been to an Applebee’s then I envy you because you haven’t experienced what monotony tastes like.

I didnt want to give this restaurant one star but I had to in order to post. Long wait on getting my food. By the time I got it, it was cold and served on a dirty plate. There was food stuck on the rim of the plate, lifted the plate up and found more stuck food. Left that place hungry.

I worked for another applebees since march, then transfered here about a month and a half ago. This place is terrible. Just a heads up. Most of the portions are smaller than they should be, hence, less food for the same price. When i brought it up. I was told«you’re welcome to leave». So i did. Do yourselves a favor, and do not patronize this location. And for the record… i loved working at my other restaurant. They’re not all the same. Unfortunately.

We have never been here and had horrible service like some of these posts review. Most of the time it is average, like most chain restaurants, occasionally it is great. The food is about the same. Usually average, sometimes great. Today the steak and the wedge salad, both great. The steak was cooked perfectly medium rare and was unusually tender. The one thing I LOVE about Applebees is the diverse menu. If I want to stick to my diet, I can,… and if I want to eat out of that zone, I can too. I really love their Tomato Basil soup. Delish!

Service was awful, the server seemed pissed that I pointed out the lip impressions on our wine glasses and that my to go box had a bug in it… I’m sorry for having such a simple request… I thought clean dishes was a given… food was bland as I already knew it would be… I had the chicken fried steak and mashed potatoes. meat was tough, batter falling off, clumpy gravy, flavorless… Only went for the cheap drinks, which my friends thought were ok

Food would have been better if it had been served hot instead of 20 minutes after it had been cooked. Not blaming the waitress, after all there was one other couple in her section. I’m sure she was overwhelmed. Apparently reservations are necessary in order to speak with the manager. Maybe we just didn’t wait long enough. Paying the tab only takes a little more time than waiting for your food but(thankfully) less time than waiting for the manager to arrive. There is a possibility, I suppose, that he/she is in the witness protection program. That could account for the manager being somewhat reclusive.

EWWW this place sucks! I guess this applies to all of Applebees becuase its a chain. lol anyway, I used to love Applebees… when I was about 14 and the economy was good! now, their food taste like crap. I can cook better food at home for less! I got spinach and artichoke dip. Supposedly made them«famous» whoever said that needs to reevaluate because it was gross! it wasnt the right creamy… the cheese was runny and there was too much spinach. I didnt see any artichoke in there and it was too salty. I also ordered the new york strip with broccoli and veggies. yeah that was gross too! I would only come here for happy hour…
