Anderson Sue A Justice of the Peace

Sue is amazing.
We didn’t find Sue online, we actually heard about her from a woman in Arlington who knew we were getting married and said she knew of an awesome JP who happened to be our neighbor. She raved about Sue and said everyone who used her as their JP raved about her, so we were intrigued.
That same day, by coincidence, as we were walking down our street to grab dinner, we came upon a woman getting out of her car and asked if she could possibly be Sue Anderson. She responded with a big smile and said, are you getting married? I knew instantly that she was the person I wanted marrying us! Who else is that nice to strangers in the Boston area?!
We met with Sue twice and told her about our plans for a surprise wedding. She was on board from the get go and was more than willing to accommodate our request that she get to the location a bit early and meet with a friend who was setting everything up for us. Supportive, enthusiastic, genuinely sweet… We could go on.
The most important thing: The ceremony was perfect and very well polished. We put our vows together and gave them to Sue a couple days in advance. On the day of, she sounded like she’d read them one hundred times before. No awkward pauses, no misunderstanding of meaning. She was clear with her message, she took it slow and, well, it was great!
