I had a horrendous experience here, gave the managers ample opportunity to correct it and make me a happy customer, but not only are they still holding hostage the shoes I ordered online that were delivered directly to their store, but their manager put her hands on me repeatedly when I was in there last, which I had to demand she stop doing. Initially they were going to let me take the online orders shoes home with me, but when they didn’t fit, suddenly they needed to see my credit card and prove it was my purchase, since now they weren’t going to let me return the items. I didn’t have the credit card on me any longer, but they told me I could come back with the online receipt as proof of purchase. When I made a trip there the following day with the online print out, they wouldn’t let me return the shoes. When I asked an employee why he gave me false info the day prior, their manager asked me to leave and put her hands on me numerous times, even picked up bags of mine to usher me out even though I immediately told her I was leaving and I never argued that point. I contacted their corporate office about this incident, as well as the harassment and embarrassment I endured in their shop, and even urged them to review any video of the incident. But after being assured numerous times that a district manager was going to contact me back, and then a regional manager, since the district manager never followed through, and not hearing back from anyone, I’m still left with hundreds of dollars of shoes that I have to return. But I refuse to go back into a store where I was accosted by a manager. Terrible customer service. I went to Express right after and they let me exchange a tie without a receipt and without even a tag on the tie. Express will always have me as a customer when they treat me like that, but I’ll never shop at Aldo again.

Nice shoes great location. My experience was okay but I was so unhappy with the lady at the register«Katina» I guess I forgot what exactly her name was. First, no greetings to the customer, scanned my item told me my balance. When I paid she gives me back my change without even looking at me. No thank you, no smiling, no customer service. Didn’t bother to ask if I needed my receipt in my bag. This experience sends you running to another store!

Yeah, Meh. This place used to be much better(for men’s shoes). It appears that the women have a bountiful selection of shoes of the hooker type. The men’s selection is ok, borderlining on euro trash, but when you do find that awesome shoe, it’s at a designer price. I’m sick of men getting the shaft on shoe prices… it must be because we don’t buy as many as women, so they have to make all their money on that one pair we buy all season. So I always have to head to the clearance rack here. I found a cool pair of summer shoes(in the middle of August — thus the clearance section). They had only the pair left for the one on display… but alas, they couldn’t find the other one. They offered to call another store — but yet alas again — no luck. Oh well. Back to Macy’s and Nordstrom!

This store is always loud and crowded. There’s never anyone around that seems like they’re genuinely happy to be working there and I can never find my size. It’s always a hassle trying to get someone to order shoes for you online geeezz

I don’t know if it’s because it was Thanksgiving weekend or because the store here was tiny but the line was extremely long. I even had a guy have the audacity to cut in front of me!!! And i felt like a claustrophobic sardine in this store! They have cute shoes and purses but the«shopping experience» sends you running for the hills and into another store!

Brought some cute slide ins here. The girls were very helpful, getting shoes and telling prices before you could even ask!

I love Aldo and I hate that I haven’t been able to find a decent Aldo location in DC. The Aldo store in Georgetown is a mess(employees included) and this one is just a tiny step up. The employees here are more concerned with socializing amongst themselves than on doing their jobs. When I had to find someone to help me, I had to decide which conversation to interrupt. After I managed to pulled a sales girl away from a conversation she was having with a co-worker, just to discover they ran out of my size for the style I wanted, I had to interrupt her two more times just to get my questions answered. At one point when she was talking to me, she actually stopped in mid-sentence to greet another co-worker. When she returned to our conversation, she lost her train of thought. VERY unprofessional. I felt like I was walking through a jewelry story with an ADHD-sufferer.

I’m a big fan of Aldo. Generally, the shoes are pretty good – my one complaint is that alot of their shoes seem ripped off of Steve Madden. Now, Steve has a place, but he doesn’t need to be ripped off. The shoes that I enjoy most from Aldo are the ones that seem fairly original. They really excel in the«casual dress» area. The missing star is for the loud, obnoxious music often pumping through the store. Of course, it could have more to do with the fact that I use shoe shopping to relieve headaches, and the thumping music often does little to help with that. Perhaps I should rethink my strategy.

This store in Pentagon City mall is great. Good prices, comfortable and fashionable options, and the shoes are a little less«12& K st «than Steve Maddens. I covet their new fall line.
