I would never do business with this place again. Did the locksmith pick the lock? Yes. However, I waited an hour for someone to show up after I said I locked myself with something cooking (I was told 20 minutes – okay, I can wait that long, but not an hour!).
So, when the locksmith came I showed him the door and mumbled about the security of the door and steps he will take (Okay, that seems fair, though I have a regular lock without the deadbolt in use. It seems like an easy job, but he considered it «medium security»). When he was done, he tried to charge me nearly $ 300. Really!!! $ 60 should be the max and that’s high. He claimed he quoted me the price when he mumbled about door security. Really. If you’re going to quote a price – do it in a clear manner. I had to argue he didn’t quote me a price after I repeatedly asked him for one. He insisted he did. (He was obviously taking advantage of my vulnerable state and I do not appreciate this.) I haggled the price to about half of what he wanted. It is still obscenely expensive, but now I know what business I will not deal with again.
