Sean Custom Tailor

I’m not going to cost this business stars due to my experience but this shop is VERY expensive. I was looking for basic hemming of some shorts and he wanted $ 18 per pair. The dry cleaner next door does it for $ 12. Pricing around the area is closer to $ 10. Just a heads up to anyone reading other reviews for how «reasonably» he is priced.

I had two dress pants that needed to be resized and hemmed. Sean did a good job sizing and hemming my pants within two business days. Would definitely recommend since Sean was very helpful and did a good job!

There really isn’t too much to say other than this guy is good! Very friendly and professional. i had 2 chefs coats altered there and they turned out great!

I brought in a bridesmaid dress and my fiancé’s wool dress coat in January for minor alterations. My dress had to be taken in a bit and the coat had to be taken in and have the sleeves shortened. Sean’s Custom Tailor did a fantastic job. Both the dress and coat turned out great and fit perfectly. We were very happy with the work. It might be a little on the pricey side, but worth it for the quality of work!

I needed to change 4 pocket zippers, fix one zipper and get two pockets fixed. I chose the place based on reviews. I got to Sean Customer Tailor and got a quote — it seemed rather expensive for the work done — 110 dollars (see above). But i wasn’t in a mood to keep searching.
Sean did the work on time and the quality is amazing. I am very pleased with the results. Every jacket he fixed is really in a good shape and i can recommend him strongly for the work done. Just know he’s at the high end of the price range but the work he does is totally worth it.

I’ve never been to a tailor before and found this place through Unilocal.I bought the perfect pair of jeans and after the third wear, the flimsy zipper broke. Normally I’d just toss them or return them, but these were perfect jeans! Sean replaced the zipper with a sturdy one, the stitching is perfect and matches, the work was done on time as promised, and the price was reasonable. I will definitely return when the need arises.

I had just bought a new suit @ Saks and needed my suit tailored. Im pretty picky and particular with the workmanship of tailors, but Sean Custom Tailor got it on point!
I had my jacket taken in and my dress pants shortened and waist taken in. Since the pants were a little bigger on me, he had to take the waist in from the side of the pants. Sean even asked if I wanted my pants hemmed «European style» where the hem falls right at the laces. I said, «Of course!»
2 weeks later, I picked up my suit and everything fit perfect. Quality of workmanship definitely showed. I am glad I found Sean, since taking an expensive suit to get it ruined is any guys worst nightmare! I now can sleep tight at night knowing I have found a tailor that can do great work! Will definitely be back here!

Got my suit tailored here and he did not disappoint. Fit was great and it everything turned out awesome. Will go back to get my other suit tailored.

Sean did a fantastic job altering a new pair of very expensive Hugo Boss pants. Not only did he appropriately hem the legs, but also suggested taking in another seem that I over-​looked. The finished product left me wondering if I need to take in every pair of pants that I own, now. I never knew that dress pants could fit so well!
He also altered an old blazer of mine — It now properly fits me.
Don’t let the reviews of the business next door scare you. His shop is 100% separate from the Cleaners.

Brought in two jackets, one needing some minor stitching and the other a new zipper. Both were done within one week at a very reasonable price.
Definitely head back there for anything I need done.

Absolutely AMAZING. My Mother-​in-​Law recommended Sean because she had her dress for my wedding tailored there, and she’d been recommended by her friend… well let me tell you, there is a reason that word of mouth is a good thing!
I brought him a bridesmaid dress for a wedding I’m standing up in… it was a DISASTER. This dress made it look like I was a child dressing up in my Mom’s clothes it was so huge in all the wrong places. It essentially had to be reconstructed, all the top had to be rebuilt, the boning, everything. The strap STOOD off my arm by two inches, it was about 4 inches too long, and the bust was for a woman who was probably about 6 cup sizes bigger than me. I could have fit an infant in there!
He did some pinning, some measuring, and in a week and a half, this dress fits so perfectly and comfortably, I can’t even believe it’s the same thing! You can’t even see it was cut and resewn anywhere, it just looks great (well, as great as any bridesmaid dress will ever look haha). But honestly, the man is a master at his craft.
Thank you for taking a monstrosity and making into a masterpiece. He was professional, courteous, and even funny. I would take something back to him to be tailored without a second thought, and will recommend him to all my friends and family!
