Popeyes Chicken & Biscuits

I usually love Popeye’s chicken. However, this was the first time I’ve visited this location. The spicy chicken I ordered was overcooked and not spicy at all. Called to let then know about the bad quality, no apologies, only excuses. Will not be visiting this location again.

How can you go wrong with a 12 piece mixed box for $ 10.99? You can’t!

Still great consistent cooked chicken everytime without fail. Love coming here. Employees are super friendly and know my routine.
Chicken tenders cooked perfect everytime.
They also have blueberry lemon pie I am crazy about here in addition to the usual apple pie.

I pass by here on my way home from work. I’m usually pretty hungry and I want something I can easily eat in my car. So I go through their drive-​in and order onion rings and water. I have to wait a few minutes for my order, but I like that. Means they’re fresh. And they are soo good! It’s a very generous amount for just a few dollars. The other night, I took my son. He really e joyed it. He had the chicken strips. They came with fries and a biscuit, oh and a drink. They do give free refills. You just have to ask. I got basically the same thing, but less chicken strips. I don’t have the appetite or metabolism of a 15 year old boy. We also split onion rings. The place was clean, and the service very efficient. And it didn’t cost me an arm and a leg. We will be back.

Don’t bother coming here just pass by it and go to the one in Palatine.
