Northwest Eye Physicians is a comprehensive ophthalmology practice offering state-​of-​the-​art medical, laser and surgical treatment for eye diseases. Our practice has been serving the northwest suburbs of Chicago for over 40 years.

We have a tradition of integrity in ophthalmologic services for patients of all ages in a professional, dignified, and caring environment.

We are four Board Certified Ophthalmologists in a well-​located, handicapped-​accessible, modern 5200 sq. ft. facility with appointments within one week for routine visits and the same day for emergencies. We have convenient hours and we’re always available for our patients.

I was very pleased with my experience here. The last Eye Doctor that I went to felt super rushed and I did not feel like they cared about me. From the moment I walked into Northwest Eye Physicians I felt like they cared. Dr. Albertson was super nice, took her time with her examination, and answered all of my questions. I highly recommend this place!

Dr Chris Wood and the staff of Northwest Eye Physicians are outstanding. Professional and thorough, they care about each of their patients. All four of my family see him as well as many I know throughout the community. He is exceedingly good at what he does and dedicated in his hiring of staff that will be part of an integrated, coherent team so that one’s experience is consistent throughout the organization. Which I value tremendously. He is the best.

The clinic was good. Dr Wood was great. He gave me a free eye drop sample which was awesome. The nurse was very friendly. They also keep glasses and contacts but the frames are all branded and very expensive. And most imp for me, the lense section probably (though i checked well) is not in network with my insurence (UHC).so I had to find another clinic for that

Can’t say enough about Dr. Wood and his staff. I have had an eye infection for over a month and I knew that the last doctor might not have dx me correctly. Dr. Wood knew instantly what was happening, gave me the correct medicine, and the very next day my symptoms were gone. Have been better for two weeks. Highly recommend!
