This place is awful. The service was super bad even though I was here at night when it was not busy. I got my food quickly but they took so damn long to bring out a lemonade. That should be the waist thing to do but they took 15 minutes and I had to wait.

Perhaps McDonalds Corporation thought a brand new modern building would boost this locations performance to a step above awful… NOPE. Still painfully slow and still making simple mistakes.

This McDonald’s was totally rebuilt. Unfortunately not as much time has gone into employee training. No one In the store. I counted eight employees working. But it still took five minutes to get my food.

I’m a local at this Location and they’ve disappointed me hard! I wanted my sandwich cut in half, so it would be like I had two sandwiches instead of one. They said they could’nt do it and now I think I’ll be going to burger king just down the road! Good Riddance!

This McD looked a lot cleaner and the menu was on a much better looking screen. The place was empty, but decent service. Nothing much to complain just didnot like the fact they have a one side for entrance and the other for exit.

Time to admit my first impression of the rebuild was wrong. On a late December re-visit, the new operation has become one of the better locations of this all-present mega-chain. We ordered a McRib, which was not on the menu, after they assured us it was available. They returned to say that they did not have any«soaking» in BBQ sauce, and we were given many containers of their packaged sauce — it was just as good. Service was extremely friendly, efficient, and the place was spotless. Oh, and the Iced Tea has been moved out to the same area as the soft drinks for easy access.

Terrible! Will never go back. Drive thru was slow, yet I pulled up to the window and the inside looked like they were running around like chickens with their heads cut off. They asked me to pull my car up. By the time I did the brought my food out. Great right? Nope it was tossed together, with the sauce all over the wrapper and sandwich that got all over me, and it was ice cold. It was a bagel and egg how hard is that? When I spoke to the mgr she said sorry we have new line ppl. Well no duh uve been open 5 days, but maybe u should train ur ppl that warm food and decent presentation keeps ppl coming back. I’ll pass this one every morning to go to the one down the street for my breakfast n coffee. Terrible

A huge improvement from the previous building that existed at the same location a few months ago. The interior is bright, and inviting, compared to the old weird configured building that existed. The parking lot actually makes some sense now, with plenty of room to park, and a wide drive thru/drive area to get around without crashing into other cars. There are now two lanes in the drive-thru with well lit signs, and well lit parking lot lights. The building looks good at night, with a more modern feel, that is pleasing to the eyes and stomach. Inside, the dining area is MUCH smaller, but the space is better utilized with more modern, pleasing-to-the-eye-and-rump seating. Menu signs are all electronic with constantly changing videos(I love the Chicken McNuggets that fall from the sky!). They also have a devoted tv monitor to post the order that is being served. So just take a seat, and watch the screen for your receipt number to appear. This avoids a cluster of people standing around the counter waiting for their food. Soda station is far from the counter as well, alleviating traffic jams of people who want their soda, napkins, or ketchup, from the people who are ordering food, or waiting for food. I’ve been twice with others this week, once just for a sundae, and once for lunch. Don’t judge me. I have not been to a McDonald’s in several weeks, so I earned my McHappy Meals for the week! The biggest plus??? NOPLAYPLACE!!! This is a huge bonus in my mind(compared to the Wheeling McDonald’s in the Walmart parking lot just off of Lake Cook Road). Thank you McDonald’s. I’ve missed you. And your employees are super nice and friendly, both in the drive-thru and inside the dining area. Buh Bye Booger King of Dundee Road and Lake Cook Road. You’re dead in my eyes now!!!

OK, I’ve visited this McDonald’s a few times — nothing special, I would ordinarily give it a 3 star rating(maybe 3.5 if that was possible). But after today’s visit, all I can do is two. This is a chain that used consistency to build an empire. Everyone knows that you don’t go to any McDonald’s in search of the finest quality burger or whatever your liking. You go there because you want something that you know what to expect of and typically quickly or on the run. My service today was fine actually, as prompt as could be expected. I’ve had slower service at this Mickey D’s, but that wasn’t the issue today. What was the issue were the two Egg McMuffins I ordered. I like Egg McMuffins and they’re probably my most ordered item when I visit a McDonald’s. The combined items; cheese, ham, egg and English Muffin blend together to make a really good product. But today, the muffin came out slightly burnt and hard yet the item itself wasn’t very hot, the cheese was sort of half melted. It was a mess — if I didn’t know better I would have thought they had made them the night before and made a feeble attempt to reheat them. How the person making these allowed them to be served is beyond me — there is no way that the employee couldn’t have known that these did not meet McDonald’s standards.
