James C. Siebert began his career as a Cook County Assistant Public Defender and then worked as an Assistant Illinois Attorney General. James has received the prestigious designation of CELA or Certified Elder Law Attorney by the National Elder Law Foundation. The Illinois Supreme Court does not recognize certifications of specialties in any area of law and the CELA certification is not required in order to practice elder law; however it evidences the enhanced knowledge, skills, experience, and proficiency in Elder Law necessary to achieve that certification. James is Peer Review rated AV Preeminent by Martindale-Hubbell. James is the 2016 recipient of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorney’s Illinois Chapter Ronald Runkle Award for Outstanding Contributions to the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. James has AVVO Superb Rating 10 out of 10 in Elder Law, Medicaid & Medicare, Trusts, Estate Planning and Probate as well as a BBB Better Business Bureau A+ rating.
