I was drawn to Audiology due to its unique blend of hands-on patient care and state-of-the-art technology. Audiology, specifically as it relates to hearing loss and hearing instruments, requires a practitioner, such as myself, to investigate in-depth a patient’s life in order to most effectively and wholly treat their impairment. Unlike many other healthcare feilds, in hearing care there can be a range of «solutions» and «treatments» that may or may not be approptiate for a given patient. This makes daily patient care in an AccuQuest Hearing Clinic endlessly fascinating for myself as a practitioner! Technological innovation continuously opens up new and better alternatives for patient’s I’ve known and worked closely with for many years. In the end this is very rewarding for myself and my patients. I’m the second oldest of six children.
