La Familia Barbershop

My boyfriend has been going to the same barbershop for years until a friend of ours recommended us to La Familia Barbershop. Well let me tell you it was one of the best experiences. Eddie was very helpful and professional, my boyfriend has now ditched his barber of 7+ years to be regular client at la familia. Also the shop is very clean, it has a very chilled environment and last but not least they have street parking and parking in the back as well.

Brenda is my GIRL! Since day one (this is day three haha) she’s known exactly what to do with little direction. The while place is pretty chill and you’re sure to laugh at the stories you hear being shared. I would definitely recommend this place if you have a beard and new it taken care of!

I’ve been going to the same barber for over 15 years. He’s located out in K-​Town, which seeing that it’s Christmas Eve, I had no intention of driving over there during rush hour. So, I head on over to Unilocal,search «men’s haircut» and BOOM! A plethora of businesses pop up but ONE catches my eyes; LA FAMILIA BARBERSHOP. Maybe it was the name, the location? I don’t know but something drew me to this place and it was not in vain. Eddie, I believe is the owner and the guy who cut my hair, did an amazing job. I came in looking like an alcohol dad who had just finished beating his kids and left looking like the dad that coaches his daughters softball team. Anyways, point is Eddie did a great job, the rest of the staff is super friendly and helpful, they know their craft and I’ll be completely my back for sure.
Only downfall? Parking is a bitch.

Worst f@**ing barber experience ever. Inexperienced lady barbers that can’t give a damn beard trim and shocked when charged $ 20 for it unbelievable. As far as I’m concerned the only one there that can give a decent hair cut is the owner, I guess you have to make an appointment with him to do so. Don’t waste your money there unless he’s the one giving the service. Had to go to home and fix the damn trim. $ 20 down the drain!

My friend told me about this place so I Tried this place out for my fade and I was not disappointed. Eddie did an awesome job and I walked out feeling really good. Great vibes. Awesome barber! Will be back!

One of the cleanest haircuts I’ve ever gotten! The owner Eddie and the barbers Tony and Lupe are the most courteous and professional barbers I have met yet. Their shop is an organized and friendly environment. $ 20 is a for a cut is a little higher than some other local places, but these guys really take their time to make sure your cut is as precise and clean as can be. I think the price is a great value.

I called in for an appointment with Eddie but when I arrived he was still with a appointment. He asked kindly if I would mind that Lupe would cut my hair I said sure. So she cut my hair and did a great job. I really liked how she took her time and made sure everything was on point and how I wanted it. She was very friendly and courteous which I appreciate because every shop I have been into has been non professional and rude. The shop was very clean and organized as well. I will keep coming to this shop, thank you for your great customer service.

This is definitely my new favorite barber shop! After months of searching for a barber in the Pasadena area I’ve finally come across one that I’m willing to drive 20 minutes to get my haircut. Love the old school vibe and music also!

Best place to get a nice clean hair cut. this place makes miracles on any type of hair. I been coming here for more than a year and hope to stay here for many more. Eddie is the best barber in town! Don’t waste your time elsewhere!!!

I just started bringing my 2 nephews here & all i can say is that im very happy with the customer service. The barbers are friendly & experienced & so far have given my nephews excellent cuts; they always leave them looking so handsome. Im so glad i found a good, clean spot close to my house. Had been looking for a shop to give me a classic cut. after trying out other shops the guys at la Familia barbershop knew exactly how to cut my hair. Even went as far as to give me tips on favorite water base pomaded.
Everyone at the shop is way down to earth. My go to barber is The owner Eddie but everyone there is just as good so you can’t go wrong. they’re starting to get a bigger clientele, they take walk ins but I suggest calling before hand to set up an appointment.
Been coming here for a little over a year now unless these guys close I won’t be going anywhere else.
Keep up the solid work guys.

Don’t get your haircut By anyone but Eddie the other guy he has there is still a rookie cut my hair this week and it was a giant disappointment not worth The $ 20 buck’s BTW they raised there prices $ 20 for an adult $ 15 for boys which I find exaggerating.

If I could leave no stars I would. According to Unilocal appointments are not required. I walked in and all barbers were sitting in their chairs relaxing. I asked if I could get a haircut for my son and the response I obtained was by appointment only that they are done for the day. If you are done for the day then they should close down the shop and not have an OPEN sign. Definitely not coming here again.

Nothing scarier than going to a new barber but Jimmy at LA Familia eased my mind. An absolute great haircut and shave. Friendly staff and clean and welcoming atmosphere. An absolute pleasure.

I recently moved to Arleta and have been looking for a new barbershop. Im really picky when it comes to barbers just because I dont want to get my hair butchered. Luckily I got my hair cut by Andy and that was the only reason why I kept going to la familia barbershop.
After going in for about 8 months I got a feel for how the shop is ran and in all honestly im not a fan of the owner. If your going to run a shop based on appointments, then make sure to keep them. In the beggining I made an appointment with the owner (Eddie) because he cuts pretty good. Well I came in and he passed me over to one of the other barbers which is a Big NO NO in my book. If I make an appointment I expect to get it cut by that person, not by a stranger that doesnt produce the same results. Well that skinny guy that he passed me to took 1 hour and 15 minutes to cut my hair… Thanks Eddie! Well I noticed after that Eddie tends to do that alot to his customers.
So I contiplated never going back because parking is difficult and its a small shop but Andy was really cool, cut fast, and did it good. Not to mention he kept his appointments! Well I recently found out Andy no longer works there, so therefore I no longer have a reason to go back.
The only positive things I can say is the decoration is nice and they sell pomade there. If you decide to go in make an appointment and beware of getting passed to another barber by Eddie. Other than that the chick in the far end seems to cut hair pretty good.

Stopped by today with my brother at 10am. Eddie hooked us up. This is my first time to his barber shop and im done searching for that good BARBER. We are going to keep coming here. Highly recomended and a nice spot to relax as your waiting for your turn. Thanks Eddie!

This spot is the best! Where else can you find a barbershop that actually knows how to cut a gentlemen’s hair cut? (Or the classic comb over)
This place is for men that want a haircut, with a beard trim. Im on the go all the time so i make sure to call head of time. Every time i sit down to get a cut, im always confident that they will do a good job.
I dont come here for just a cut, i come here to look great, and feel great after i leave the shop. And they always have some sort of game on the tv!
