Dine in, Drive thru, Call in Orders, great out door seating– both covered and uncovered. Live music on Friday nights. We specialize in high quality specialty coffee and espresso drinks, a variety of teas and sodas. Our bakery offers freshly baked muffins, brownies, pie and cookies. We serve breakfast with quiche, biscuits and gravy, egg/​sausage/​cheese/​breakfast biscuits, Belgian waffles, etc. For lunch we serve Chicken Salad Croissants, Chicken Caesar Salad Wraps, Grilled Panini’s, Bierocks, Calzones, loaded baked potatoes and a variety of freshly made salads and soups of the day.

History

Established in 2015.

Steamy Joe is housed in a beautiful two story brick structure built as a private residence in 1904. The man who built it for his family later sold it to his son who sold it to his son. In 1970 it was purchase by Jim Lauer, a very popular Chief of Police. Because of it’s strategic location next to the local college and downtown area, Randy and Ruth Ryel purchased the property in 2014 and began renovation. They have spared no expense to dress it up into the most beautiful coffee house/​bakery/​restaurant in the area. The warm and inviting ambiance of the interior is so appealing that virtually everyone who visits is overcome by smiles and complimentary exclamations.
