Piazza Acura Of Ardmore

After coming to this place for the past couple years to get my car service when it was time for me to shop for a new car this place has became my go to choice. I recently purchased my new 2015 Acura TLX from them back in October 2015. I got a get deal on the car fully loaded. They were willing to work the numbers with me to matching what another dealer were offering. In addition I found my sales guy Jonathan to be very helpful in answering all the questions I had. Even after the car purchase he would follow up to make sure everything went well with the car which is very important to me as it show that the person is sincere making sure you’re happy with your purchase and not just another sales for them. I would definitely be considering this place in any of my future car purchase and would recommend this place to anyone who’s shopping for an Acura.

I realized my initial review was back in 2012. I no longer have the MDX, but I recently purchased an RDX and took it to Piazza for it’s first service a few weeks ago. I don’t work too far. I was able to drop my vehicle off and was given a loaner at no cost. Any work needed to be done was covered under my warranty and my car was ready by the time my work day was done.
They clean your car for you when you pick it up. I wish they would put some sheen (Armor All) on the wheels, but I won’t complain because it is complimentary. Overall, I see myself bringing my vehicle here for every service need, or at least until I am still under warranty HAHA!

I was very pleased with my most recent experience with Piazza Acura of Ardmore. I have had my RDX for the past 4 years and have been getting service at Piazza since I purchased the vehicle. Most recently, I had an issue arise with my Air Conditioner Compressor Clutch, that had a warranty extension, but I was outside the «time frame». I contacted Acura Corporation and they opened a «hardship» case and stated that Acura may be able to assist me with repair costs. I was shocked and stunned and didn’t believe the claim, but I went to Piazza and had the issue formally diagnosed and was told that due to my buying the vehicle pre-​certified, and having good service records, they would assist with my repair costs! I was already a loyal customer of Acura and Piazza always makes me feel valued, but this latest act of generosity has caused me to be Acura’s latest spokesman to all who will listen.

After my battery died about a week ago, my navigation locked me out. Since I bought the car used, and it didnt come with a manual, I called Piazza Acura to have them give me the code I needed. When the lady told me I have to bring my car there, and it would cost $ 56, I almost snapped! They’re supposed to do it for free! I immediately turned to the internet and found acurazine forums, where I found the website for free code retrievals, and the phone number for Honda’s tech department for such issues (also free!). Problem fixed! Not for $ 56 either! For FREE!
If you’re one of those people who just have to show people how much money you have, and need all the muss and fuss to make you feel better in life, then go here and blow your money. For all the rational people who just want the job done, and save money in the process, GO TO HONDA. Why pay more for the same exact thing, just for a name change???

I am very happy with my experiences at Piazza Acura. And yes, unfortunately there have been many. I have an older car, and over the past few years it has needed a few repair jobs. Usually I’m pretty skeptical about car dealer repair shops, but thankfully the staff here are honest and try to give me a good deal. They have fixed my transmission, the latch that opens the front hood, the airbag because of the recent recall (they do that for free), and countless oil changes. These repairs have kept my 2002 Acura running like new. The oil changes are more expensive than average (~$ 40), but they wash and vacuum my car and usually throw in a safety inspection for free, so I think it’s worth it. For my other repairs, they have let me use coupons or take a percentage off of my repairs because they know I’m an incomeless grad student. The staff at the service center are also very friendly and keep me informed about the repair progress. They are transparent in their estimates and tell me what repairs are really necessary versus ones that are good to do but not essential. They are also flexible about picking up your car and will store it there for a few days if you can’t make it. Although it’s never a good thing to take your car in for repairs, the staff here make the experience bearable.

We dropped off our car and were quoted one price, then called back w/​another and when we picked up it was yet ANOTHER price. There were items missing from the car when we picked it up but we’re told that «no one knew who worked on the car». Sigh… left message for manager, we’ll see what happens.

The very best in the business. I have owned several cars over my life and have worked with dealerships in NY, Lancaster PA and here on the Main Line outside of Philadelphia. Never had anyone better then Ryan Tepper, Mike, Tom and the entire service team here. They have taken care of three different Acuras for me over the last thirteen years, always with respect, always with class, always with care. They treat me fairly, are considerate of my time, and frequently go out of their way to make my life easier. When something needs to be done, they inform me of it and get it done quickly and correctly the first time. I love Acura, would recommend them to anyone and everyone and would hope you find as wonderful a service experience as I have with Piazza Acura and Ryan.

So after they said would would cost over a thousand dollars to pass inspection, and that didn’t include the cracked windshield — which would have put it at around $ 1,300.
Immediately took it to an interdependent mechanic and it passed inspection for $ 400 — which included a $ 280 windshield. Just do the math folks, just do the math. Everything Acura said was bad or «shot» was fine for another year — at least.

Great, friendly, hospitable salesmen! Ask for Shawn McCafferty. If he still works there. Got my folks a 2012 Acura MDX last year and Shawn couldn’t be more helpful. Other dealers take notice. This is how it’s done at Piazza Acura!

Jamie is awesome to work with. They had examples of most models on the lot and the service department couldnt have been any friendlier. Ardmore wasnt the closest dealer for me but I heard so many great things about them, I figured it was worth the drive. I couldnt have had a better experience and would highly recommend shopping with the Ardmore Acura store, even if he have to drive out of the area for it

The service manger, Mike, actually read my review, looked up my information and called me today to see if I can discuss my terrible customer service experience. First, I’m totally shocked he did this; this is the first time any company has responded to a negative review and I applaud him for that. This is what I would be doing if I ran a business.
Mike listened and then basically took full responsibility for the poor customer service. I got the feeling he was being sincere as well. I’m probably going to give Ardmore Acura another shot at winning me as a loyal customer too. Thanks Mike.

I own a 2008 TSX and I love it, best car I’ve ever had. I wish I had purchased it from an Acura Dealer but I didn’t. I do however take my car to be serviced at Ardmore Acura and they are great. The service prices does fluctuate but they do honor coupons from other Acura dealerships. I needed new brake pads and they gave me a 2013 TSX loaner for the day, while my car was being serviced. They definitely get an A in Customer Service. They send you emails, call you on the phone, etc just to see how you liked the service and if there are any problems. So far so good… one of the Best relationships I’ve ever had… LOL

My experience at Ardmore was exceptional. I went there after having a bad experience at another Toyota dealership in the area, and I was definitely impressed. The deal offered was better than what was already a good deal advertised nationally, plus a few perks. I took one star off because my insurance wasn’t taken care of properly, but it was a minor blip given all the VIP treatment you get there! I’m going back there for my next car.

Just purchased second new Acura from Ardmore. Really good experience overall and will continue our business with them.

I will second Martha’s review of Ardmore Acura. Our visit to this dealership in October 2011 was the most pleasant experience I have had during a car purchase. Generally speaking, «pleasant» and «car dealership» are rarely used in the same sentence. Its often a complete time wasting endeavor of back and forth machismo to see who can hold out the longest. We experienced none of that in Ardmore. The deal I sought was pretty clear. I explained it to our very cordial and low-​key salesperson. He left for what is usually that ten visits to the GM while we each give a few dollars.
None of that happened.
I was stunned when Mr. Lee returned to the table, extended his hand and said «we have a deal». (so you can understand why I was happy and surprised, this was a better deal than the advertised special lease rates). They did not have the color we wanted nor did Mr Lee force feed us what they had on their lot. Mr Lee followed up with us consistently without ever being pushy. When Scott, the finance manager had to get involved because of an old credit issue, he gave me his cell phone and we hammered out the details. not to be sexist, but that is how men used to do business and i appreciated it.
I can go on but it would be redundant. The experience was so positive I did something I have never done. I walked into the general manager’s office, thanked him and congratulated him for running an incredible shop. I am a business owner and I know the attention I give to customer service. Very nice to experience old fashioned customer service in a day of mega stores and cattle mill service.

Boy this place has certainly changed over the years. When I graduated college and finally became a working adult, I bought myself a brand new shiny car from Ardmore Acura. I thought that because I had spent some serious cash on a car that in turn I would get the best service ever! In the words of Borat… NOT!!!
Fast forward about 10 years and you got it… I bought another Acura… not because of their service department but mainly because of the reliability of their cars. So I was a little hesitant when I had to schedule my first oil change… Wow…what a change, I think all of their employees have gone through some sort of serious client service training or a cult of some sorts has taken over… Their employees are very cordial, accommodating and patient. They even call after the appointment to make sure that everything went as I expected and if I thought they could improve on anything…
Ardmore Acura, I like you! I really, really like you!!!
