History

Established in 2013.

Primary photographer David Verdugo got his start young. Taking pictures on polaroids, disposables, and anything that had a shutter release, he has been continually fascinated with capturing moments.

Learning film development techniques was the next step. This process was fascinating to him. But the readily available nature of the (then) brand new digital camera format was intriguing to young David. He has grown up alongside the technology, and harnesses it to its full potential to capture your special moments, creating treasured keepsakes that will last generations.

David is a Northern California native. He has worked for Fortune 500 companies, and he has backpacked across the country with nothing but a tent, a guitar, and a camera. These days, he is committed to preserving your memories so that you and your family may treasure the snapshots for years to come.

David is AMAZING. Very creative and went above and beyond anything I asked for or expected. He understood what I needed — pictures of my house and yard to use for selling my home — and took a local park, got up on my roof to photograph the solar panels, and put it together with wonderful captions and music. It is amazing he is so multi talented — does weddings, product pictures, and is open to anything new or different as well. He also does computer tech and website work as well. He is like a one stop shop! He was able to capture beautifully the best things about my home and I could not ask for more. I highly recommend him. He also responds quickly to email and you don’t have to chase him which I appreciate — rare in this area.

Going with Unrivaled Photography, and working with David on a photo shoot was a joy. David was not only good at arrangement, lighting and operation, but was very good at giving direction. He’s one of the only photographers I’ve worked with that let me (and the people I was taking the photos with) relax while still managing to capture quality poses. I still don’t know how He did it, but I actually enjoyed that photo shoot, which is a rare event for me!

When my father found out he had stage 4 cancer we were crushed, my dad and I didn’t have many photos of the two of us (with me as adult) and David came to the rescue. He did a lengthy photo shoot of me and my dad with our dog Abe, it was a wonderful day that I will always remember. David made us both feel very comfortable, and by the end of it cancer was the furthest things from our mind, I love all the photos they do not look posed but truly capture the love of the family. Thank you David for making something so beautiful and precious, I would recommend Unrivaled Photography again and again.
